That's my first post to this forum and I thought, I’m gonna talk about something new, but as I can see, that’s an already started discussion here. However let me express my thoughts too.

Some time ago, I’ve visited for first time a super-heroine-site. I’ve been excited by the previews. I must say, that I’m not so interested about photos or drawings, but I think the videos in those sites are just great.

Yeah, I know, in many of them it’s very obvious that it’s about acting and fake. But I’m talking about the scenario. I mean, in what kind of adult-, torture-movies have we ever seen a tortured woman being hard face-slapped or even more face-punched or belly-punched or being beaten with a club? Wouldn’t it be the most usual thing to happen by an interrogation or punishment?

But except of a couple of ZFX-movies (f.e. Ballista), some productions by a pay-site named brutalviolence.com (now named funnybdsm.com) and another named rtbondage.com, oh yeah and one nazi-torture movie by erotic-horror I guess, I haven’t found such scenes in any other movie. (I’m not talking about catfight).

For the first time I’ve seen a very nice scene in a preview video from the pay-site punishedheroines.com. Mystic-girl (a super heroine) captured, tied on a wall, in a position similar to crucifixion. Rye standing by her side is holding her by hair, to force her to keep her face up, looking straight in front of her. Deamon stands in front of her. He punches her hard on the belly and on her face. Ok, no blood, no black eyes, but nice action. Or I can refer here the Relic Raider-interrogation movie (see the url above).

I would be very interested about your thoughts.

I agree. There isn't a whole lot of this sort of material out there. What is there could probably be improved upon in terms of production values... not an easy thing to do unless you have a good budget. The site you linked to is promising, though the girls need to be topless at least! Ideally, it would be nice to see a girl get her top ripped off, then smacked around while her breasts bounce. Of course, her breasts would make excellent targets for hard slaps as well. Bring on the slow-mo! I suppose this got to be a turn on for me as one of the first gimp-esque things I saw was the assault from Eyes of a Stranger, circa 1980... nice face slap followed by the girl's breasts bouncing as she fell back to the bed before being violated. I came up empty. I didn't find any evidence that it has been released, nor did I find any evidence that it is scheduled to be released. So I don't know what's going on.

If this movie is being blocked in some way by politically correct forces, then I guess we GIMPers, as a matter of principle, should be upset. However, the movie sucks, so it's quite conceivable the producers simply can't raise the money to keep distributing this stinker. And since the GIMP-worthy material in the movie is pretty weak, I don't suppose it really matters.

On the issue of body types, my opinion is pretty much the same as it was on the "age" issue. Which is to say I don't really have a strong opinion. Tall, short, skinny, full-figured ... whatever. If the woman is attractive, and the scene is done right, I will enjoy it. At the risk of being repetitive, I will say the priorities for me are natural breasts (although I am occasionally forgiving on this one) and no or few tattoos.

The truth is that times are tough these days for web sites. Many have closed and many more may also close in the near future.

My web site provides me with my shooting income. Basically I only shoot to the extent that the website covers all expenses. I have tons of footage in the can and don't really need to continue to shoot in support of video releases, though I truly would like to continue shooting.

I have been shooting more storyline type footage as of late and I think many gimpers would probably enjoy some of my newer material, even those who may not have been huge fans of my older stuff.

I have converted my website from photo centric to video centric. My most recent change has been to go from three photo sets and one short clip (usually around five minutes) to two photo sets and two video clips.

Additionally I have upped the length of video clips. In the past they were all about five minutes in length with only a few reaching six or more minutes. Now I would say the average is about eight to nine minutes. I have even posted clips as long as 17 minutes in the past few months.

This means that members get between 16 minutes and 25 minutes of video per week.

There is a good representation of my newer material, but still some older material mixed in (I need to get all my old clips edited before the media deteriorates), so I need to post some of that stuff as well.

Some of my newest material that should interest gimpers would be the capture of Madison Young, posted as two clips (part one and part two). I was very happy how this capture worked out, although some of the material is much darker than I would have hoped for (too used to shooting in the studio I guess). Also posted in two parts is a scene of Molly Winters being sold into slavery. This was a very realistic scene. I actually had bruises and even a bite mark or two after the filming.

Coming in the next few weeks will be a capture scenario with Petal Benson (formerly known as 7) which I hope gimpers will also like. Also a classic and extended historic clip (two parts) featuring an extended flogging, cropping and slapping video of Tyler Scot.

Other recent video updates include two clips of Mallory Knots in a metal breast press which comprise approximately 26 minutes of video footage. Personally I think it one of the hottest scenes I have ever filmed. Also a two clips set of Mallory being given "water torture" is also available. Another hot scene. Mallory has always inspired me. Mallory if you read this, write me -- I would love to book you again!!!! (Damn I hate the way models disappear.)

Based on input I've gleaned from reading the gimp board and the occasional email suggestion I have tried to make the site more appealing in general and especially so for video fans like the gimpers.

I hope you will consider giving my site another try again, even if you have never joined in the past. To those who have never joined, shame on you!

Perhaps this is a subject for further discussion -- what is the appeal of joining bondage Web sites? In some cases, I would imagine personal circumstances make it easier to hide Internet links as opposed to trying to hide a collection of discs. In other cases, perhaps some Internet sites are popular because people can download pictures and videos that can't be found in the stores.

And, of course, we can't overlook Steve Power's point that the Web sites are popular in countries where DVDs are difficult or impossible to obtain (actually, Canada was probably on that list for a number of years, although the situation is improving here).

But I'm curious to learn more about this. Since many GIMPers -- perhaps most GIMPers -- seem to be registered on different Web sites, I would be interested to know more about the decision to sign up. What are people like me missing?

A Canadian: Bondage pay sites...Like you, I prefer DVDs. Unfortunately, the only way to see some of this stuff is to buy a membership and download the stuff to your PC. That was the case with Insex, with Brutal Violence, and with just too many other places that carry material I really want to see. I resisted them for a long time, but they are a necessary evil. They are probably safer for companies to offer them as downloads rather than as DVDs, in this age where they can get prosecuted, pay huge fines and possibly go to jail for shipping to the wrong area or country that might have community standards that prohibit such material.

I know there's ways to transfer downloaded material onto DVDs that will pay on your TV, but I'm not even close to being that advanced yet. I'm still trying to learn to edit material from DVDs on my computer. If anyone can suggest a good program for transferring movie files into DVDs without losing much in quality?

DM: What setting do I find most arousing for tying a victim? I'd have to go with chair-ties first, as long as the arms are tied behind her and not to the armrests, which looks too comfortable for her, IMO. It is a system that is user friendly, which works well for someone like me who isn't computer savvy. You can do some quality editing with this program. This program has a few limitations in terms of making super-fine edits, but for the most part it works quite well. Generally, you can edit content out of your movies and the edits are sharp enough that it looks professional.

You can play your real-media and at the same time record it with an other codec. (real media > dv). The best tip at last. Buy a mac and work with imovie and idvd. It´s so simple and no pc program can beat this.

jazzdart , quicktime cames with every Mac OS. But you can´t edit with this version. You need QT Pro. imovie works with DV codec. and is way better for editing. You can make chaptermarks for the dvd and import them in idvd.

PD uses a powerbook 17" for his editing and Rick works with final cut pro and dvdstudio pro (i think)

Locations: Lot of various locations are fine with me. Whatever serves the story. Offices, bedrooms, kitchens, outdoor cabins, outdoor forest areas, etc. The problem comes when the same producer uses the same location over and over again, aka way too often. Some variety is needed.

I like realism in my bondage fantasies. That was why I liked the home invasion themes in ZFX's Forced Entry and The Apartment so much, as well as a very good older title, Scene of the Crime (link above), which was the first ZFX video I ever saw. A lot of the early Golden Age ZFX vids from the early 90s used a home as the setting, which was part of the reason I got hooked on ZFX. Until then, every bondage vid I had seen (mostly by B&D Pleasures) used a dungeon setting, which came across as more phony and artificial.

Regarding Powershotz, yeah, they're not as brutal as what I normally go for, but I can tell you that I thought the verbal degradation of Mia and her tearful reactions in Mia's Abduction made for one of the more convincingly intense shows I've seen in quite a while. And the fact that it was all shot in a home environment added to the believability. This is a company that shows promise; I just haven't seen enough of their work to know if their other shows are as strong as this one.

bakerboy: Yeah, technical talk about editing programs and software usually makes me go glassy-eyed, but a lot of us have their own collections of material and we are looking for ways to convert it from VHS to DVD. So it's relevant here.

Hey all this might be considered tame, considering everything else that's posted here. But I figured you might find it interesting.

I saw an advance screening of "The Notorious Bettie Page" the other night. That's the beauty of living in New York City.

Anyway it was quite disappointing. First as a film in general. But most importantly for what we enthusiasts go to these films to see.

To say the film was very Vanilla, is to put it mildly. The bondage scenes were hilarious, as the members of the screening audience broke out in laughter - myself included.

There were reenactments of the original Betty Page loops which are tame by modern standards and very tongue in cheek.

Gretchen Mol has a great body and there were several nude shots of her as well as her in fetish attire. What I did enjoy were the recreations of the famous Betty Page pinups shots that we all so love and remember.

The best scene in IMO was the scene where Betty is in a standing spread eagle position wearing a white corset and gloves. She has a home made red ball gag unconvincingly stuffed in her mouth. The actor playing John Willie is singing a bawdy diitty while he checks his camera lighting and Betty is mmmphing her protest.

When Willie pulls the ball gag from her mouth. Betty says she is a Christian and is offended by the song. Willie apologizes and replaces the ball gag. He then removes it and they have a serious discussion about how a religious girl can do what she does.

I guess the film is entertaining and as a bondage enthusiast you should probably go see it just for the historical references and reenactments. There are several shots of bondage magazines and quick glances of models very camply tied up. But don't expect a lot.

It's funny that what was considered taboo and risque in the 1950s is just nostalgic and silly now.

I also thought it was odd that I didn't see trailers for Kill The Scream Queen, which has been my favorite Bill Zebub production thus far.

I saw one movie, part of the Japanese "Dream Woman" series, that came close. A woman was handcuffed and then subjected to a number of facials. But she didn't really look like she objected to the whole thing, so in my view it didn't count. I would like to know if there is a movie out there -- likely Japanese -- where the bukkake is clearly done against the woman's wishes?

I ordered a DVD from a company called MFX that specializes in all-girl piss and scat videos, and one that I especially liked was called Bukkake 3. If you like the Attackers series of bondage videos, I think you will really enjoy this installment in their "Super Special" series. I will forewarn you that this is a lengthy description of the first disc of a two-disc, three-hour epic featuring Randa Mai, the bondage master who has starred in many recent Attackers titles such as JB-077 and JB-079, and three attractive actresses: Ageha Aoi, Yuria Misaki, and Ichigo Amami.

During the opening titles of this feature, we see Ichigo, wearing nothing but a collar, confined in a large dog cage in the basement of a building. He appears to be an ordinary average guy, but we soon learn that he has a very dark side of which Ageha is unaware. After finishing breakfast, he kisses her goodbye and leaves for work. A flashback shows that she had earlier been randomly abducted from the street by Randa, brought to the basement, stripped, collared and caged. Now it is time to "play" with her.

Ichigo's wrists are bound together with rope and pulled high above her head. He uses that same rope to tie it around her body, just below her ribs.

After a few sharp slaps to Yuria's face, Randa pulls Ichigo's cage to another room. (Ichigo must have been thrilled that someone was taking her place!). Returning to Yuria, he grabs her by the hair, yanks and shakes her head, and gives her a few more slaps. It does not appear that Randa knows Yuria or that she is Ageha's friend. He threatens her menacingly, apparently trying to convince her to tell him who she is and how she found his lair. Refusing to talk, he gives her ass a few hard strokes with a flogger. Again grabbing her by the hair, he gives her small, attractive tits a few strokes of the flogger, which really gets her attention. I hope you enjoyed this review of Part One of SSPD-021. While I thought the scenes with Ichigo are very good, I particularly liked the opening scenes with Randa and Yuria because of his brutal overpowering and manhandling of her. I think it was about as convincing as it could get, without her really being harmed. I also enjoyed seeing Randa Mai portraying an average "nice" guy who has a secret very dark side.

I plan to review Disc B very soon. I can tell those of you who enjoy whipping scenes (probably most of us) that it includes a lengthy scene of Yuria being whipped very harshly, mostly with a bullwhip. I have seen several of the Attackers titles, most of which I have thoroughly enjoyed, but this is now at the top of my list of favorites. I found all three actresses attractive, and I thought they gave convincing performances. I think this was Yuria's first feature for Attackers, and given the heavy abuse she suffered, she may be unwilling to do another! Randa Mai is among the best when it comes to binding and disciplining women. The lighting and cinematography are excellent. I only wish I spoke Japanese, because I think understanding the dialogue, particularly when Randa was speaking to each of the women, would have made this movie even more enjoyable.

In closing, if you are a fan of Attackers videos, I have little doubt that you will like this title. If you like the type of action in ZFX videos, I think you will also enjoy SSPD-021, unless you do not find Japanese women attractive, cannot accept the optical censoring that goes with Japanese videos, or feel that a video must include clothespin torture and/or simulated electro-torture (of which SSPD-021 has neither). My grade for this title: A+.

Squealer is a nice little tale, simply told, of a pretty, wide-eyed blonde groupie who becomes the helpless victim of a sick-fuck pro football star. A reasonably short film (about 55 minutes), with just two stars and a modest setting (a motel room), Squealer is well acted and great fun to watch.

Rebecca Montgomery stars as Cindy, the cute and eager young football fan who goes with football pro Ropknee to his motel room. I like Montgomery. After a brief effort to dodge the TV reporter, the pair head to Ropknee's room. Once inside, Cindy can barely contain her excitement. She sits down on the bed with Ropknee and gushes, "I'm a really big fan of yours...I know everything about you." To which Ropknee replies, "Oh, you do, huh? I don't think you know everything."

They lie down together on the bed, fully dressed, and start making out. Cindy is wearing a black spandex outfit with white polka dots, and black shoes, while Nuke Ropknee (the character and the actor have the same name) is wearing a white muscle shirt and some track-pant-style shorts. Ropknee is a big boy, with huge muscles and a mullet hairdo (the movie was filmed in 1992) -- he looks something like a cross between Billy Ray Cyrus and the WWE's Rob Van Dam.

Anyway, after some brief necking, Nuke excuses himself to go to the bathroom. Sitting alone on the bed, Cindy decides to peek into a nearby duffel bag, where she spots some interesting items -- rope, bondage gear, an Instamatic camera. More bed-sheet strips have been used to tie her arms out to each side, with the strips tied to motel furniture, and her legs are also tied apart. Fortunately, the movie gets back on track in the next scene. There are a couple of flaws here, like a few moments where Cindy's reaction seems a bit delayed, but for the most part this scene is excellent. Once he's done with the cattle prod, Ropknee takes some more Instamatic photos, including some shots of Cindy sucking on the large dildo. He also whips her ass and, of course, once again sucks on her tits.

There's definitely a pattern to this guy's thinking. In the next scene, Cindy is in a closet, on her knees, with her arms tied to the steel bars above and a rope binding her knees together. She has also had clothespins attached to her tits. Cindy isn't initially wearing a gag or a blindfold, although Ropknee sticks a small dildo-like plug in her mouth (I don't know the name of this thing). Then, sure enough... he goes back to kissing her tits (working around the clothespins), and puts his hand down her panties to once again finger her. This segment ends with Cindy alone in the closet, whimpering and squirming, with some fine closeups of her heavenly body.

The final torment begins with Cindy squatted in a jacuzzi, with her hands tied behind her back and with a rope tying her hands close to her feet, which are also bound together. In the final scene, Cindy is wet, nearly naked (she still has the panties) and is free, sitting near Ropknee's bed, crying and shivering. Ropknee throws her a towel and Cindy warns him he won't get away with what he did. But Ropknee asks, who will people believe, "a football star or a whore?" Overall assessment: Highly recommended.

Today's bondage producers could learn a thing or two from Squealer. This movie has an attractive, natural-looking victim who is a convincing actress, placed in some excellent scenes of bondage, sexuality and degradation. It hits all the right buttons. Although it was filmed 14 years ago, Squealer is the best bondage movie I have seen so far this year.

And this is one features maybe one of the cutest ZFX performers ever in Rebecca Montgomery. She is much more appealing here than she was in her other appearance with ZFX, The Abduction of Sweet Christine, also with Nuke Ropknee (probably her real-life boyfriend, I've always assumed). In that later film, she was sporting her new chest implants and while she looked good, that title didn't work nearly as well as this one did. Then again, it's been years; it might be time to go take another look at that one, too.

Ralphus: I too have seen "Squealer" and "The Abduction of Sweet Christine". I have to say that any movie that contains asphyxiation (e.g. held under water, plastic bags, etc.) is a turn off for me. So, although Squealer is a good movie with plenty of great action it's the Jacuzzi scene that does it in for me.

As for The Abduction of Sweet Christine, I rather enjoy Ms Montgomery's chest implants and so found her more appealing. Surprisingly, I don't remember the movie being one of ZFX's better options, but it has been so long since I saw that title I (my memory) may be doing it an injustice.

The movie, actually begins with a movie within a movie.

As the movie starts, we see a hand place a VHS into the VCR. The title of the tape is: “Nuke’s Home Video #25 Sandi.

There is some static and then a video appears on the screen. It is a home movie of the irresistibly gorgeous and sadly missed Allison Parish.

She is tied up in a squat position atop a wooden worktable. Her wrists are tied to her ankles with white rope. I huge red ball gag is jammed into her mouth, secured there by same white rope. She is naked.

The best part of this scene is that a palm sander is roped between her thighs and crammed up against her pussy. Somewhat functional but not completely. Feel free to offer feedback. Definitely room for improvement.

I bought the DVD myself and compared it to the VHS footage that I kept on my highlights tape. There are some distinct differences. Some shots go on longer, others were trimmed completely. Rather than just transfer his existing movie, Rick took his raw footage and essentially made the movie a second time, cutting it differently than he did originally. For instance, in the closet scene, originally there was footage of Nuke applying the clothespins to Rebecca's body. In the DVD, when we first see her in the closet, the pins are already on her chest.

One of the best things Rick did in the DVD release was to tone down the music and eliminate the echo effect he originally used for the soundtrack. For a while early in his career, Rick fell in love with certain gimmicks and overused them, and one of those was the annoying echo effect. Thankfully, years later, he rethought that decision and this movie sounds a lot better now. I was really glad he fixed the sound for the DVD.

Anyway, getting back to the missing Alison footage, only Rick knows for sure why he cut it. Maybe he'll post here and explain. Personally, I don't think the footage was that important to the overall flow of the movie. It seemed to me at the time to be just some unrelated footage that didn't really belong with the rest of the film. In my mind, the movie really began once he took her up to that hotel room.

You can rest assured I would never deliberately cut Alison Parish from a review just to save space. (I'm sure Ralphus and others have wondered if saving space is even a consideration when I write my reviews). Although I never saw her work in her heyday, I have really enjoyed the Alison Parish scenes that I have seen.

As for the remastering of Squealer, it was clear to me that the movie had been digitally altered, much as the cover art suggests. For example, I am certain the "action 20" banner that appears on the screen when the reporter is pursuing Nuke Ropknee and Cindy has been added by computer. The graphic looks much cleaner than the early-'90s credits shown at the beginning of the movie.

Thanks for clearing up the mystery of the missing Alison Parrish footage in "Squealer".

I bought the original VHS years ago.

I have always been a big Allison Parrish fan. And although her presence in the film is not necessarily crucial to the advancement of the plot, it does set up Knute's behavior pattern, as Ms. Parrish is one of his earlier victims. I have a few questions and comments:

1) I'm not certain I like the idea of individually grading a film's bondage and its S&M. My concern is that some films that are specifically designed for a particular audience -- like the Japanese Shark movies that mostly focus on rape -- may get an unfair review. I wonder if it may be more helpful to include a general checklist, where people can indicate which particular specialties -- bondage, rape, whipping, etc. -- are featured in the movie, but leave the reviewer to assess the importance of missing/included elements in the written summary.

2) I think we might have to look at how much detail we can provide for reviews that have already been submitted. In my case, I can probably track down some of the movies that I have reviewed, but not all of them. For those I can't find, there will be some details -- like the length of the movie -- that I may not recall unless it was in the original review.

3) I like the idea of including the date the review was submitted. Down the road, it will help readers to understand the context for the review, i.e., how a particular movie compares with other movies that were available at that time. I guess I'm hopeful the quality of bondage movies will continue to improve over time.

Thanks A Canadian for the nice review. Yes, the Allison Parish "sander scene" was removed and put into Jennifer's Nightmares, where it originally belonged. Back in the old days it was hard to sell retailers and distributors on the idea of single girl movies, so I sometimes added scenes that didn't really belong to increase the body count so to speak. There was also issues of runtime, trying to take from one and add to another, to even them out, that kind of thing. There may be a couple instances of that, I cant think of any other Ive come across yet except Tiffany Twisted, again Allison being removed and that footage put back into Future Shock where it originally belonged. In retrospect, I'm not sure removing those scenes was the right thing. I'm always hesitant to tamper with something people like, but in these cases I wanted to reunite the footage and I didn't want to have the same footage in 2 movies. Hopefully, it was the right decision.

Squealer was a lot of fun to shoot, Rebecca and Nuke were a real life couple and really were going balls out to make a good movie. I think they did an awesome job. Strangely, the morning of the shoot I had a close encounter of the law enforcement kind and was seriously debating whether I really wanted to be in the porn business at all. I wanted to cancel, but decided to tough it out and then had a good experience shooting this movie which kinda pulled me back from the edge.

That morning I had another shoot with a different couple (which ended up being no call no show) at a big hotel in Orlando. I got a room, and hauled my equipment up to the room and began to set up. I then went and got some lunch, leaving the room unattended. Big mistake. Apparently, when I left, some of the house keepers went in the room. I am guessing they saw me hauling all this stuff up and were either curious or were going to take some stuff. Apparently they were quite shocked when they entered the room while I was gone and saw my gear. I had converted the room to a mini dungeon, including drilling holes in the ceiling and putting in eye bolts. I had all my rope and gear all neatly laid out and ready to go. I came back to the room maybe 20 minutes later and am waiting. The couple I was to meet were not answering their phone and they were now late.

A while passed, still no sign of the missing couple. I'm looking out the 6th floor room window, looking for my talent when I see 1 cop car pull in. Then another and another..soon it was like 20 cars. I'm thinking, they couldnt possibly be here for me, I wonder whats going on? Then came the knock on the door. ZOINKS! Sure enough, a sea of cops were in the hall and they wanted in. After a brief negotiation through the door which was, Do I have to let you in? YES. Do you have a warrant? WE DONT NEED A WARRANT and WE HAVE THE KEY SO WE ARE COMING IN. Finally I let them in. After a brief shuck and jive which ended in me handcuffed, they checked my ID, asked if any minors were around, searched, asked what I was doing (meeting my 25 year old girlfriend for some fun of course officer), etc.,

Once things calmed down a bit they were really pretty decent about the whole thing, booting out some nosy maids and maintenance guys would shuffled in to gawk. I think their main concern was that there were no kids involved, which I can appreciate. Maybe the doggie pacifier gag I had freaked one of the housekeepers out, they seemed to think I had kids in there and kind of focused on that one gag. Once they determined there was no kids involved, checked me for warrants, they left. I was lucky they never looked up to see the eye bolts in the ceiling because I would been taken to jail for destruction of Hotel property, but they didnt notice. Thanking my lucky stars, I went to the front desk and after a colossal argument with the manager, got my money back. There was no way at this point I was shooting in this place. By this time, quite a few hotel guests and staff were standing around in the parking lot and lobby, scowling as I hauled my shit out. The word pervert and other disparaging remarks could be heard being muttered under the breath of a few. It was pretty freaky.

Anyway, after some heavy soul searching, I went to my next appointment that day, with Nuke and Rebecca and shot Squealer. I was very concerned about being tailed to my next shoot, but nothing happened and everything went off without a hitch.

I have to say, I have had quite a few encounters with street cops while shooting over the years and have never been arrested and in fact they have always been professional and fair, but I always conduct myself in a professional manner. Ive found that with street cops, you get what you give 9 times outta 10. Nonetheless, its usually unnerving...

1. Those are good points. Maybe could have different forms for different types of movies.

Actually when this form generator is done, anything left blank won't show...so if no grade is put down for bondage, that element won't show in the generated review page. Right now it does cause it's easier scripting for now to leave it in, and to add the 'if blank conditionals to not show' as a last thing to do. Could also add a N/A (not applicable) button to the grade choices to do pretty much the same thing. Might be a good idea in case a reviewer grades something and then decides not to grade it.

Your general checklist idea is good too. Maybe a combination of both.

One thing I like about checklists and rating radio buttons (those circular buttons) is that some people, especially those where English is not their best writing language, might be able to somewhat review a movie with just checklists and ratings. Or if another reviewer pretty much nailed a review in their text, another review might want to add their 2 cents with just their letter grades for certain elements. Maybe. I don't know. just brainstorming right now.

On the other hand, maybe this is too much work, and a simple review form that simulates what we've been doing all along is what people would like best.

2. Yeah, if you can't remember things like running time, you can just leave that out. When this is all finalized, if nothing for runningtime is selected, or a text field is left blank, then that element won't show in the generated review page.

3. I think dates are helpful too. Won't help the old reviews tho :)

Also wondering, should we keep GIMP reviews of movies if the movie is no longer available anywhere? I think there are a few of those.

P.S. You're really on track regarding most cops. My father was an attorney and one day when I was about 12 or 13 he got out the dictionary and had me look up the words deference and obsequious - he told me to remember those words any time that I had contact with police. Yes sir - no sir - bewilderment rather than anger - it works almost every time.

Keep in mind that when this was back in 1992, and ZFX was a relatively new company (I think that was the year when their first movies came out) so just imagine what might have happened had Rick decided to throw in the towel after that bad experience? So it's a great thing that Nuke and Rebecca's work on Squealer gave him the impetus to stick with it. The fact that the film turned out to be one of Rick's minor gems should be reason enough to want to see it if you're a ZFX fan. You'd be hard-pressed to find a cuter ZFX victim than Rebecca Montgomery.

I hope everyone on the board does see Squealer, as it is a great movie. When I update my review under Scribbler's new criteria, Squealer will get an 'A'.

Your explanation of removing the Allison Parish "sander scene" makes sense to me now, as I saw the original years ago and wondered why A Canadian hadn't mentioned it at all in the review. Maybe it's time to take a look at the new Jennifer's Nightmares to see how it fits in.

Randa Mai (aka. Mr. Cool Shades), the Japanese bondage master who starred in Attackers SSPD-021 which I recently reviewed, appears in two Art Video titles that are listed in Video Mayhem's May update and which I had the pleasure of recently viewing (www.videomayhem.com/proddetail.asp?prod=03387). ADV-075 and ADV-078 are Parts 1 and 2, respectively, of #24 in Art Video's Slave Press series. The actress appearing with Randa in these two titles is Sayaka Morishita, an attractive young woman with nice tits and a shapely body. In a previous post, Ralphus noted that he hoped the actresses who appear with Randa Mai are well-paid, because of the harsh treatment they usually endure. Sayaka is no exception. In fact, she should have received a bonus for the suffering she endures at the hands of Randa.

If there is a negative to Art Video's Slave Press series, it is that there is no storyline to speak of. I have seen about 4 or 5 editions in the Slave Press series, and each essentially follows the same theme. A fully dressed woman is in a large cell. The woman seems to be there voluntarily for slave training. Randa usually briefly interviews the woman before he begins binding her while she is still dressed. After she is bound, she is usually suspended and flogged harshly. The woman is then released from her bondage and ordered to strip. Once nude, she is usually bound, suspended, then flogged and whipped again. This may be followed by other tortures, such as clothespins, hot wax and more whipping, interspersed with some forced orgasms. As I said, not much of a plot, but what these Slave Press videos might lack in the form of a story, they more than make up for it with extremely intense whippings and tortures. The whippings are usually administered using various types of floggers and whips, resulting in the woman screaming and crying due to the severity of the whippings, and her body bears very visible marks and welts.

Part 1 of Slave Press #24 (ADV-075) follows this pattern, and I will not go into much detail. However, there are two scenes that I thought were especially noteworthy. With her wrists bound overhead and her ankles bound together, Sayaka is subjected to an intense, brutal whipping that leaves her body with several welts and stripes and her face streaked with tears. Randa applies about a dozen clothespins to her nipples, tits and abdomen. Spreading her legs apart, he uses a vibrator on her, which makes the pins jiggle nicely as she becomes more and more excited. When he finishes making her cum, he applies a clothespin to each of her pussy lips, then whips all the pins off of her using a flogger. In the last scene of ADV-075, Sayaka's arms are outstretched and securely bound to a bamboo pole hanging from the ceiling. Randa whips her very harshly again, causing more tears and screaming. When he strikes her tits full force with the flogger, it causes a large amount of saliva to stream out of her mouth. ADV-075 concludes with this brutal beating.

ADV-078 picks up where ADV-075 left off, as Sayaka is released from the bamboo pole. As she kneels with her head resting on the floor, Randa begins fingering her butthole. Wearing a rubber glove, he gradually inserts more fingers into her tight little sphincter. Later, she is again bound and suspended from the ceiling for more whipping, with rope serving as a blindfold and gag. While still suspended, Randa roughly finger-fucks Sayaka, giving her another orgasm. Before she is lowered from her suspension, Randa positions a "horse" beneath her, so that the apex of the horse wedges between her labia. Now it is time for some hot candle wax, and Randa holds two large candles very close to her battered body as the hot wax falls on her tender skin. The candles are held so close that it appears she feels the heat from the flames. After the waxing, Randa gives her another brutal, violent whipping as she sits upon the horse. When he has finished the whipping, he takes her right tit in his hand and squeezes it very firmly for several seconds. After being lifted from the horse, Sayaka stands before Randa, broken and battered, and he finishes her off with some sharp slaps to her tear-streaked face.

If you like seeing a woman in strict bondage, suspended, and whipped mercilessly (who here doesn't?), ADV-075 and ADV-078 are must-haves for your collection. As I said, there is no story, but the stark cell in which the action takes place makes it easy to imagine that this is some kind of brutal interrogation.

PS, isn't using one's home to try to impose one's narrow-minded bigotry and censorship on other people an "offensive use"? I'd certainly be offended if a "not enjoying his own life, so makes it his duty to mess with the lives of other happier people" kind of guy moved next door to me. Good luck with all of this.

Yarble: The Great American Snuff Film looks very intriguing; unfortunately it looks like one of those that places like Netflix and Blockbuster won't touch. Somebody needs to buy it and review it for the board. The trailer is a big rapid-fire tease, but I saw some images of bound and gagged women there, and it's about a serial killer, so hopefully bad things will happen to them.

Grey: I liked your movie plot idea; the only thing I would change would be to make the wife younger. Instead of 40, make her some hot 22-year old slut who deserves the treatment she gets. That would be my first choice for the victim, anyway. Why make her a 40-year old housewife, who wants to see that? I know, I know, that's my ageism showing through again, but I'm more attracted to younger women, anyway. As always, YMMV.

Natasha Flade: Great to see you posting here again! You truly belong on our list of Notable Guests; you are a very cool chick and I admire the work you do. Hard to believe you're being harassed by a cop who wants to be a preacher...talk about a nightmare combination. Nothing more scary than a bible thumper who's also in law enforcement. And what the hell is offensive use, anyway? What constitutes "offensive"? That's about as cryptic as the judge who said he couldn't define pornography, but he knew it when he saw it.

At any rate, please stop by here again and update us as to what's going on with this situation. We're all for free speech here on this forum, and we're obviously pulling for you in this case.

DoppleM: Another great review, thanks. Too bad there's no actual storyline, but after reading your review and looking at the stills on the box cover, it looks like a must-have. I love watching Japanese women suffer, and that Randa Mai dude is about as good as they come for dishing out the punishment. Bring it on!

It turns out the SSPD-021 disc available at Saveonav.com (see link in my URL) contains both movies on the one disc. I haven't had a chance to watch all the action yet, but I wanted to report back that you can indeed purchase both movies for the price of one.
