Someone said, "Whats coming out new!" I started working on Bitter Sweet 2000 (still a working title but it may just stick) but thus far Ive not gotten much done on it due to primarily working on DVD conversions. Im sending a few productions shots from it to Ralphus, though one may be from part 2(yes there will be a sequel) so I cant guarantee youll see all these shots in the first installment. As a big fan of HOMs output in it's early years, I'd like to see zfx or any production company, study the better HOM film loops, the style, lighting, content (zfx needs more HOM style crotchropes!), pacing, tight editing (yes I know part of the reason for tight editing was the 15 minutes max per reel, but that's not the only reason for good editing). The video could be called 'HOMage' and have four 20 to 40 minute HOM style segments on it. Plus add sound, dialog, music that works, and simulated rape and dildo insertion. There must be other rape sites out there, such as that Army one that somebody posted about last month. The site I joined, Brutal Violence, has original mpegs that all feature rape scenes, as well as assorted tortures. It's got a nice mix, like a good ZFX flick. As far as consensual rape sites go, I'm not really familiar with any. You might want to check newsgroups like alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.bondage or (if your ISP allows it; mine doesn't) alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.rape. There are always people spamming there and you can often find pay sites, maybe what you're looking for.

As far as an AFS, I think Adult Check is one of the biggest. What I would do is find a good rape site first, then see what service they make you join. Might keep you from paying for two services, one of which you may not need.

I wanted to give my opinion on a bunch of subjects. First of all for websites. Brutalviolence.com is a very good site and worth the money for a first time buyer. I am interested in mainly videos and their videos are very high quality from number 26 up. They are up to number 57 as of now. Videos are 15-20 minutes long and are coming at you about 350kbps in real media which makes am almost comparable vhs quality. I like their content because they have minor plots which makes thing alot more interesting to me.

I will be rejoining in about 5 weeks as this is the time I will have 25 new movies to download. At 20 minutes each that comes to about 5 bucks an hour for me and that is a very good deal.

Their sister site rtbondage.com looks like they have some stuff from the brutal site and the vids look alot shorter so I am staying away from that one. A little tip I can give when trying alot of these sites is go with the three day trials. I have been able to download most of these sites entire video library within three days. It also means the site isnt worth a full month. I had been a three day member in alot of these site and none of them really impressed me at all. Videos are fair quality in avi format and mostly download into 10 two minute parts.

Next site is insex.com. I was a member for a year and recently let my membership expire. I think pd does a great job with the site and offers more content then you can find anywhere. The content is harder then most which make it that much more interesting.

The only turnoffs for me with insex are about threefold. The first one is most of his models are completely shaved. I think he misses the boat here with the variety factor.

Secondly insex lacks plots and is so consentual the damsel in distress factor is gone. The last negative about insex is more of a complaint. They have some of the best bdsm material out there and you cant buy it on video. So you are stuck watching it in a pretty good quality situation but not even close to brutal violence and even further from vhs quality. So that is the frustrating part of insex.

Next to zfx. I think rick makes great movies even though you can tell the action is overly fake. I still give zfx a very high rating. Having said that I would like to register a big complaint about Rick. I think Rick waste way to much time on his older stuff. To me I dont give a shit about seeing his old stuff on dvd. I want new releases. When he built his website it was all movies I already have seen. Same thing with the dvd transfers.

Being a retailer I remember the days of getting my zfx order in and there would be 4 releases at once. yes 4 at once and this would happen every couple months. There were 12-15 releases a year. Now we are lucky to get 2. To me that is totally letting down his fan base and I feel we shouldnt support the old shit. It is like he is milking every last cent out of his old stuff and not taking the time to release new movies. I really think he needs to rethink that.

Next on to eyewitness productions. They do a great job in the erotic horror genre and intensity does exist in their flicks. The action is obviously fake but it doesnt come across that way like in a zfx movie. The only complaint with them is once again they dont make enough movies.

Now to the cut movie. I only give it a 3 or 4 out of 10 because of the lack of nudity. To me you want to push the envelope and your taking revenge but you leave bra and panties on. That defeats the whole purpose of pushing that envelope. I think the movie could have been a 9 with nudity in my opinion.

Now to Dan Hawke. I think his stuff has excellent bondage and very good looking models and to boot very high quality. The s&m could be harder and maybe a zipper or two would be nice but I hear though the grapevine we will get a different view. So I look forward to dan's new stuff as well as his older stuff.

Brutalmaster's website is a waste of time in my view. His movies are short and only about 30 seconds of action in every three minute movie. Here is a guy with good content but really missed the boat on how to present it.

Last two items I am thinking about the pay per view section on the russian slaves website. Looks like it comes down in high quality for less then 10 bucks a movie. I would also like to buy the toetag pictures but havent had luck getting in touch with them. nu-west leda looks to have excellent stuff but 70 bucks per 1/2 hour is not worth it to me.

Lastly we-trainsluts.com an insex wannabe that has maybe 10-15 hours of movies with regular updates but lightning is an issue with there movies. Has anyone tried empire.at????

I can understand the frustration of not getting more ZFX videos every year, but it's hard to claim that Rick is trying to milk things by cutting down on his output. He makes money when he releases products. If he's not releasing loads of videos, he's not making loads of money.

Rick's trying to make a better, more elaborate product, and that takes time. He tried to release a separate Shockwave line, that appeared to be trying to move from the bondage shelf to a more mainstream adult shelf with a longer video with better production values. That seems to have fallen by the wayside and all ZFX videos are now essentially what was originally envisioned for Shockwave. I miss the simpler videos in a lot of ways. They were easier to make and more could be released in a shorter time. A lot of times, I lose interest in the plotlines and better production values because I don't buy a video for those features. Sometimes a woman just gets kidnapped and molested and it doesn't have to get much fancier than that.

I have to say I agree with you about just about everything you mentioned. I'm a member of Brutal Violence and for the most part, I like their original movies. Like Per commented, the quality does vary, but all of them have bondage, torture and rape packed into each little story, and yes, the visual quality is very decent, even though I watch them in the smaller sized option for best sharpness.

Insex: I'm of the same opinion. Great content, some unbelievably harsh (and real) scenarios, but...the dreaded "C" word...consensual! Not to mention that PD sells his fine work short by offering it in an inferior format. I wonder how some of his performers must feel knowing they are doing all that suffering just so people can watch her in a tiny, jittery, 3-inch box on their computers. His stuff is worthy of Imax screenings, but just try to tell him that. He would make a small fortune if he released his stuff on video or DVD, a good portion of it coming out of my wallet.

ZFX: What I think is sad is that DVD conversion is taking away so much of Rick's time, but a lot of his older stuff is really awesome, some of the best bondage tapes I've seen. They are DVD-worthy; I just wish he could get everything re-released on DVD now and get to work at what he does best. But when you've been making films for 10-plus years and accumulated over 100 movies, you can't just do it overnight. I think Rick realizes that his films won't sell as well on VHS anymore and that serious collectors will want his stuff on DVD, so he's trying to get there as fast as he can.

But you're wrong in one respect that we are lucky to get 2 new releases a year. Because this year there will be only the one, South of the Border 7. It had some damn good material in it, but yup, that's the whole output for ZFX in 2003, just the one new release. His new one won't come out until 2004, according to Rick himself.

CUT the movie: I'm not surprised about your comments, where you say you would give it a 9 out of 10 if it had nudity. I already commented before I wrote my review that I even liked some television bondage scenes, and of course, no one gets naked in them. The fact that you said it was worthy of a 9 is proof, in my mind, that there is some quality stuff in the film, but to take it down to a 4 simply because of the lack of skin shows that nudity is damned important to a lot of people. To me, seeing the damsel tied up, gagged and in some serious distress, being mercilessly attacked and tortured by a gang of her so-called friends, was worthy of a 9 out of 10, even without seeing her tits. But don't get me wrong, nudity would have been a major plus, especially on a girl as cute as Angie Morris.

I've just checked out Forbidden Video's site and noticed that they no longer sell DVD's etc. but only downloadable films. I understand this is for 'political' reasons, which of course I appreciate, but for someone like me who prefers DVD's and videotape, it's a pity.

It started me thinking that for the retailer, selling downloadable films might be a more economic and safer method. I know nothing of the business or of the technology behind it (as perhaps you will see!), but, when selling DVD's etc., it seems you would need storage space, people to expedite orders, and contact with postal services. All these things cost money and expose the seller to interventions from the powers that don't approve of their activities. Compare that with selling downloadable films. 'All' you need is a computer (and other equipment?) plus the expertise to set it up. Once done, all you have to do is count the money! O.K., I'm sure it's not that easy but you presumably do not need so many people or so much space. Perhaps you can even reduce the risks from those 'interventions'.

Is this going to be the way forward for the industry, or at least our piece of it?

Well, this is true, yes and no. Yes, because at this point in time, the site is only available to current members for download only. No, because in the near future we may take down the site altogether. I thought long and hard about this and have decided to just stop producing the videos. Why? Well, unfortunately with the way the current political climate is I cannot create videos the way I would like to. I hate to censor these and I hate that I cannot have free expression in my videos. By doing this, I am going against my own beliefs as an artist and making videos that are just not cutting it. Sure I could keep the site up and sell my edited films, but why? I would rather just pull the plug then keep spending huge amounts of money to produce them, and not being able to do what I want, and disappointing customers.

So, I need to ask you to remove my site from your links as the videos are no longer available, and will not be unless things change and the USA once again becomes the land of the FREE. If I made mega bucks like Rick, I would keep going and fight it if I was ever prosecuted. But I do not make mega bucks. When weighed the pros and cons it was better for me to just pull the plug instead of producing new videos that suck.

It's too bad Steve had to tone down his later work for fear of prosecution, and it's obvious now that he knew that he was putting out a product that wasn't what he wanted to deliver to his customers. It was always frustrating for me to have to review his later works, and I hated having to give low grades because I could tell Forbidden was deliberately censoring their work, and it frustrated me because I knew they were capable of better.

I think what Steve did took real courage and I admire him for pulling the plug rather than continue to put out compromised work. He's a good guy, one of "us", and he wants to see the same kind of filthy entertainment that the rest of us do. Thanks to your recommendation I went ahead and plopped a 3 month membership on it. (slow ass modem connection here). And it's definitely worth it, although I really REALLY wish the video quality were better.

Armytales.com - Not sure whether to recommend this or not. The video quality is absolutely FANTASTIC compared to Brutal Violence (which isn't too shabby), however there isn't currently a lot of material available. And sad news for me, the two newest sets don't even appear to be non-consentual. :P That said, out of what they do have some of it is absolutely fantastic rape fantasy material. No Bondage however. If you have a fast connection and they offer a small trial it's worth taking a look. Otherwise, I'd recommend only if you have money to burn. But I do have to say I do absolutely LOVE some of the videos I downloaded from there, wowzers. And I must say again, all downloadable videos on the net should be have video quality at LEAST this good.

To whoever asked about which AVS service to go with. I think it was Chase. Find as many wet T-shirts (yay!) websites as you can that require AVS and see which one is needed the most. Or which site you most want to see offers it. Alternatively you can go to most AVS websites and do a search (wet t-shirt) and see how many websites come up and decide that way. Barbara Broadcast is kind of a choppy movie. It's very old school, and I don't know about you, but the golden age porn I used to love has worn poorly for me. The girls today are so much prettier, for one thing.

I usually just watch this bondage scene, and rarely watch the rest of the movie. IIRC this is the only bondage scene in the movie. Still, it's one of the all-time classic scenes. I have posted on this board about this scene before several times, so check the archives for my past postings.

The actress is the very cute Constance Money. This scene is actually an outtake from the flick "Misty Beethoven", a very good movie.

The "plot" for the scene is very simple. Jamie Gillis and Annette Haven (?) are in a nightclub reminiscing about this one time when he put this stuck up girl through her paces. Voila, it switches to this scene. Gillis uses a scissors to cut off Money's panties, eats her out a little, ties her on her knees and fucks her doggy style, tied, for a minute, then she's back spread-eagled again and he fucks her mouth till he comes on her face.

What makes this scene one of the all time bondage classics? First, Money is cute. Second, the pacing is slow and full of menace which highlights Gillis's power over his victim. Third, with the exception of an occasional grunt or moan accompanied by a wince or two, she is silent throughout. I know some of you on this board prefer screams, but to me it adds an extra dimension of submission when she is not gagged but still does not object. Also, like Rick's lovely Lisa Kincaid, Constance Money has very expressive eyes and can say it all with just a look of fear. Finally, she is fucked while in bondage, and mouth-fucked while in bondage, and her face is creamed while she is in bondage. What more can you ask for?

The only negatives are the scene is too short for my tastes, (but that may just be me, I would have liked an hour or two for this scene, but it's probably 10-15 mins) and, like the larger movie, it, too, is a little choppy (IIRC, she goes from being spreadeagled like in the pic you posted, and then tied on her knees, and then back where she was when they first started. So the editing is weird.

But the filming is nicely done. I have recommended on this board before that Rick try to emulate this scene, cuz the best thing is its pacing. Jamie Gillis enters the room and slowly lights a cigarette while watching Money, who is already tied. He slowly cuts off her light blue panties with a scissors and pulls them away from her body. You sense the full power he has over her - he doesn't have to hurry, she is his slave and he has all the time in the world. YMMV, but for me, the pacing renders this a highly erotic scene, one of the all-time film classics.

Funny thing is, when real movies get released on DVD, you get the original, uncut version plus extra footage a lot of the time. Just the opposite with vintage porn. Miserable bastards. One thing I like about this waxing scene is that is that they prepare her by squirting water on her. Yeah, we all know that this is actually to take the sting out of the wax, but it also makes that hot bod really gleam under the lights. The camera cuts between her and Alexis, whose hands are chained above her head. Far as I'm concerened, it's worth the price of the tape.

Got a question about a differnet flick. While reading about Barbara Broadcast, it's made me curious about a movie I saw a long time ago. I'm pretty sure it was from around the same period. Gary Roberts' site is linked above. He does some really good bondage artwork, a lot in the AOH (armsoverhead) position I particularly like. A subscription to his site is $15/month.

He also made 2 videos a couple of years back that had a ZFX-ish tone (more than Spy Trap) and he got some pretty hot chix, but they werent as hot as Monica Moore or Brandi Dukes. I dont know if he still sells them on the site tho.

I gotta agree with everyone that's seen Spy Trap-Sara/Jacqueline's performance is top notch with the writhing and moaning. I have a 10-second clip of her from that movie that ill post at AOH Central if people want.

I'm glad you brought up Traffikers, because I think it an excellent example of where BDPleasures/Bonvue falls shot. And it's a travesty because they are doing a lot of things very well.

The thing I don't like about a lot of ZFX vids is:
1. Rick tends to want to tie and tape all sort of crap all over the model. I don't get it. Doesn't work for me.
2. I often find the lighting to be lacking and the picture grainy. I know Rick is trying to use the lighting to inject a bit of realism and drama, but I think a lot of his films suffer from looking like bootlegs even when they are origionals.

But you gotta hand it to Rick.

In Traffikers, Lena Ramon and that other girl are tied up by morons. At one point Lena could easily have hurt herself. What kind of idiot, ties a girl to a horse, puts a spreader bar on her ankles AND DOES NOT SECURE THE BAR? She's floppin all over the place like a fish! In scene after scene, you can see ropes falling off, cuffs slipping off - these guys are amatures.
So yeah, the lighting is good, the picture is sharp, and the bondage is done by monkeys. What are you gonna do?

What do you mean you "commissioned" the video? Is that the same as paying for a complete custom, or did you just "suggest" what you wanted done and let him make his own tape? In other words, are you paying for it in whole? If Majors is following your script pretty closely, then what kind of tortures are awaiting the girl? I used to like the B&D Pleasures stuff before I discovered ZFX, then I never really went back.

The cost was shared by my benefactor (a friend with similar tastes who has a lot more discretionary funds and who seems to like the stories and scripts I write) and Bill Majors, who sprung for a second model. The video stars Devon Demoore and Vanessa Mackenzie, anf the torture fucuses on Devon's tits and especially her currently ENORMOUS nipples. The first scene I wanted to recreate the breast bondage scene from Punished 2 with Anne Bruno, and later Vanessa is introduced as a permanent slave whose father committed suicide becouse he could not come up witht he money he owed to free her, but that did not release her, but rather sentenced her for life. They are then tortured together in situational tied where as one struggles it punishes the other.

I did not see Video Pirates and did not realize such a similar plot had been shot, though I will now make sure to get that title ;^)

About breast bondage - there has been a real scarcity of that in bondage circles (with some exceptions, like ZFX 1991-1995, and Dan Hawke presently) - thus the reason to commission a custom - but my understanding is that Bill Majors is not afraid to delve back into some harder stuff - but he really hasn't been directly doing videos for a while, and the intesity (or lack thereof) of Bon-Vue's offerings is a function of the people actually shooting the vids for him, and BB is not a priority with a lot of them - but Bill did some of the best breast bondage out there in the early days, like Tough Task, Judi's B&D Slave School, etc, so hopefully we will see a resurgance of this beautiful practice.

My fav ZFX BB scenes are the rubber band scene in Lois Paine and the final scene in Xtractor.

All of his most recent titles, however, starting with Phallicide through his newest release, South of the Border 7, have all featured extras. And I would expect them in all new ZFX DVDs from now on.

Ok, I have seen others on this board talk about their efforts on getting a custom video done, and have now gained experience on the subject, which I will relate to my fellow pervs here on the board. I have been involved with commissioning 3 customs, and am now waiting on the results of my efforts.

Effort This is not an easy process. You have to comb the web for possible producers and models, negotiate terms, specify the action and write up scripts, and by FAR the hardest part, wait patiently for the result.

Price Expect to pay anywhere from $1,200 to $2,000 for a custom job with 1-2 models. It all depends on how many players you want in the video, and whether travel is involved. This is for a professional shoot with professional models - I cannot speak to amatuers other than to say you are gambling with your money if you go with someone promising to do it for less than $1,000.

Action Not every model may be up for the action you want, but I don't recommend contacting the models directly (they tend to not respond - after all, your email IS an unsolicited anonymous message - they may get crack emails all the time). The people who shoot the vids have established contacts with models and have a good idea of what they are and are not up to doing, so be specific about what you want to see on the screen and the producer can recommend models to you.

Script Make sure you are as detailed as possible here. The producers can't read your mind, and nobody has exactly the same tastes, so don't assume that they will instinctively know what constitues "awesome" in your book. Spend some real time with your script detailing the action/dialogue/bondage positions you want to see. My experience in writing up scripts is that they usually take 5-8 pages for a 60-90 min video.

Product Media My experience is that the producers are happy to provide you with a DVD, a real media CD, and a CD of high resolution still photos. Make sure you are clear on what media you want when negoitiating the deal. Also make sure it is clear that you want a high resolution good quality video - customs that I have not been involved with setting up have produced small files with grainy pictures and few still photos - though if you deal with someone who runs a website they will often want lots of product to post, anyway, but it's still better to be clear up front.

Payment terms Be prepared to pay from half to full price up front. Somebody shooting a custom for you must be convinced you are for real, and they have to pay the models up front, travel expenses, etc. so if they defer any portion of the payment to the end of the shoot, it is usually their own fees.

Distribution Rights To get the price I listed, you will likely not be given distribution rights, so don't go into this thinking you can have custom wotk done at that price and start your own commercial website with the product - it's usually cool to include some friends in the distribution, but the people shooting the action are likely expecting to make some money from their efforts in addition to the fees they charge you.

Quality of Product I cannot speak to this yet, as I have yet to see the end result of any custom shoot I have been involved with having done, but I do have some contacts of people who can do a custom bondage video, complete with dungeon, props, etc. I will not make that public, but you can contact me if you want a custom bondage vid made and need some contacts.

SO, there it is. If you have had experience with this, I would love to hear your take on the process.

I ask because of the changing ways of our fodder's producers; for example Forbidden Video's move to downloadable films only. And also the problems of censorship; for me in the U.K., that translates as the interest of our Customs people in this material.

Should our perv be looking to buy only downloadable material, therefore needing a computer with big memories (yeah, I nearly spelt that differently!), big graphics, and be on the internet with the biggest broadband modem possible? If he likes to make highlights 'tapes', what would he need for that? Some code breaking contraption plus re-writing capability?

Or should he continue with the tried and trusted video and/or DVD plus television?

I thought I would answer Scheer's question by sharing the knowledge gained in my quest to be the perfect pervert. The idea here is to:

1. Hide my porn where no one can find it
2. Still have easy access to it
3. Have the freedom to make 'mixes' of my favorite scenes

My personal recommendation is to get a computer with a big ass hard drive (> 100 gig), a good video card and a great screen. I went all out and got a large 20" flat screen. Set up your computer in a quiet, comfortable place and get a good set of headphones. You also need to get a DVD drive. If you are not very computer literate, you will need lots of patience. Ok. Throw away your VCR. From now on you only buy DVDs. Most of the good stuff is available on DVD. Now search the net for a good DVD 'ripper'. I use smartripper and I am happy with it. Rip all your favorite DVDs to .vob files, and place the files someplace deep where prying eyes won't generally go. Get WinDVD. It's the best DVD player out there. You can do anything you want with keystrokes and it even has a 'panic' button. Just press 'x' and everything is closed in a nanosecond. WinDVD does NOT seem to store the .vob files you opened in the documents folder either. If you leave the .vob files as they are, you are gonna use those 100 gigs pretty quickly. So get a .vob editer. I use chopper, but I need to find a better one. Most movies contain a bunch of junk you don't want to save anyway. Chopper let's you cut the bits you want and you can then throw the rest away. At this point, you can throw away the DVDs, or at least hide them in a place you only need to get to on rare occaisions.

So that's the idea. It's not perfect. I still have a few problems if any lurkng techies want to help.

1. The space fills up quickly. Would some sort of removable media be better? Can anyone recommend? 2. Still have not found good software for pasting .vobs together 3. Is there a way to cut the audio out entirely? A nice thing about this setup is that you can run chopper while running winDVD and enjoy the audio of one in addition to the audio/video of another. But some of my movies, such as the HOM bondage loops, have crappy audio that I would just as soon lose altogehter.

Custom Videos I just commisioned a guy at thebondagechannel.com to make me a custom for the low price of $350. Keep in mind that my particular script calls for a lot more costuming and roleplay than actual bondage. The guy I talked to has been really great so far. He sent me two free DVDs of movies with models that I was considering. One of them, "violated!!" is worth checking out by the folks here. I really want a custom vid, but I just don't have $1200-2000 to throw around. I know I am taking a chance, and I will report back on how things work out.
