OK, about 2 weeks till Ballista 3 is released to the distributor. Firm date, set in stone, etc., etc. YES, there will be Ballista 3 DVDs as well which include some rather humorous and insightful outakes and stuff. Its a long movie at an hour and 46 min, 12 scenes, about 15min of that is devoted to previous episodes. I really debated whether to add outakes. I dont want to spoil anyones illusions, so let me know if you find they detract from the movie. Hopefully, you will get a small taste of what its like on the set in between takes and find it interesting. You will probably be surprised...

Streaming site is still being worked on, but it IS coming. I'm hoping it will be done soon but this one is outta my hands and in someones even slower, even less capable hands:P Actually, its about 2-3 weeks away. In the meantime, call me the boy who cried STREAM! Seriously, I release stuff as fast as I can, add new features like streaming and DVDs as soon as I can, simple as that. You ask for dates, I try to be as accurate as I can, but I dont have a crystal ball (wish I did). There is so many variables involved in any task that I do it is dam near impossible to be right, often impossible to even be close, but I do the best I can. At any rate, I'm glad people(at least 1 or 2) are eager to see new shows and streaming, thats never a bad thing=) Thanks to the many who patiently hang in there, buy ZFX products, and keep this whole thing moving, there is a lot of good stuff coming!

Glad to see that Ballista 3 should be out soonish and on DVD none-the-less. You can bet I'll be one of the first ones to pick up the DVD. It's pain to have to buy and/or watch anything on VHS anymore... :P

And just the thought of the clarity that is possible with DVD and ZFX scene's makes me all drooly... :)

Hope that with this streaming site out of the way, we'll start to see more frequent release again, and on DVD... :)

BTW, to get back to another story we covered on the forum last month, the Frontline show on "American Porn", which featured Seymore Butts on trial for obscenity. Recently, the trial ended in New Orleans. Here is how the jurors voted:

After four days of testimony and five hours of deliberation, the jury deadlocked. And the judge declared a mistrial.

According to defense attorney Franz Zibilich, the jury voted five to one to acquit. He said the lone holdout was a young white male.

After the verdict, District Attorney Steve Wimberly said he would not retry the case, leaving Major Video free to stock "Dale's House of Anal," "Back Door Club," and "Indecent Obsessions."

This is more good news, although I'm sure the prosecutors socked him for a million dollars in legal fees for such a stupid case.

re: Dan Hawkes: What's everyones favorite Dan Hawke video? Curious as I haven't seen any.

Another real good one is Bound on Blonde, with the absolutely beautiful Beth St. John as the blonde victim. This girl looks like a Playboy Centerfold, and Dan puts her through the ringer, including a crotch rope suspension scene and some nasty and painful breast torment with multiple clothespins.

But my favorite has to be Lass & the Lash, with the ever-cute Trinity A'Dell. Dan puts her through TIGHT breast bondage, first with rope, then with wire, and in between he decorates her whole body with clothespins and leaves her to suffer. And she's a sweet little victim, too. I understand she used to do stuff for Insex, too, although I've never seen any of her Insex work. But if I had to pick one Dan Hawke to buy, this would be my choice.

Seriously: I didn't have to think about that at all. Whitout a doubt, DH08-KIDNAPPED AND TRAINED. ith the cute, sweet, pretty Tyler Scot. Her acting is really above average, and she's a natural born victim. I always enjoy DH's work. He really seems to enjoy his job, and doesn't seem to need to ACT as if he enjoys tying and tormenting pretty girls at all.

Truth be told (like our friend Ralphus already hinted): a couple of extra directing classes wouldn't hurt, and both the camera work and the cutting could be improved, but even the worst director could not have ruined this Tyler Scot preformance.

If you're looking for a sweet, cute innocent victim tortured, helpless and with no hope to escape.....DH08 is made for you!

The tape you mentioned only has the same title as the DH tape I wrote about. The BD Pleasure tape you're referring too is also very nice, but not nearly as good as DH's tape.

I've never seen a DH tape, but I may have to check them out. I wish he would release some on DVD.

I have also seen the Kidnapped & Trained video from B&D Pleasures. It was done by a Frenchman who has completed a number of titles, all of them pretty good - much better than the typical B&DP offering. I agree with Iago, though - I hate than pixelation stuff.

Do you know if any of Tyler's Insex ork is released on video???

First, even if you have broadband the resolution at its best is not as good as VHS, much less DVD. Second, it is difficult to search ahead or skip parts you don't like or find boring. Third, I find I can't get the bandwidth from my ISP needed to view the shows unless it's late at night, or before mid afternoon - times that I normally don't have time to watch the stuff.

On the plus side, the archive of high-resolution jpgs is fabulous.

It would be nice to be able to buy a nice clean DVD version of my favorite shows - but looks like it's not gonna happen. Fred

Darkroom: Welcome to the forum. I'm no expert on the older bondage companies, but I do have a fascinating old magazine called Bondage Buyers Guide and Almanac, dated 1978, that lists the RDF Company as one of the major players in the business, although the mag describes them with a somewhat disapproving attitude (along with a company called B&D Publishing) stating the bondage from this company is only used as a means to another end. "Their films, photos, and artwork show almost exclusively the plight of young women who had been bound and restrained so that they can be subjected to a holocaust of torture." Right. So that's a bad thing? This magazine praises companies like Harmony that feature "love bondage" and condescend to a company that dares to be a bit more raw. It's similar to the way that ZFX gets virtually ignored in the Adult Video News today (or at least used to; I haven't seen that publication for a few years). Anyway, getting back to RDF, they list a New York address, but I'm guessing that company has disappeared by now. It's too bad, because judging from the bondage torture pictures they show as examples from their business, plus your description of that video, I would like to see more from this RDF Company. Do you recall if this video was silent or had sound? I'll bet some of those classic bondage movies would command a high price if one could track them down today, because with a few exceptions, they just don't make 'em like they used to.

Forced Entry is the video you want to get. It fits your criteria well and it is a classic to boot. When we were each asked to list our three favorite ZFX titles, Forced Entry came up a lot. Try it. I think you will see why.

For what it's worth, Forced Entry features probably my all-time favorite rape sequence that ZFX has ever produced, where the bad guy ties Lisa spread-eagle to the bed (my favorite method) and has his way with her. Click on my Homepage URL above to read my full review if you're curious. There's lots of bondage and relatively little torture in this one, and it's a great piece of work, definitely worth seeing.

Rick, any firm update from the distributors as to when Ballista 3 will be out? Last we heard, it was about two weeks to go, except that was three weeks ago. Maybe those were "ZFX weeks", which always last a lot longer than normal weeks :)

Lesse...Ralphus was here, I remember, as helpful and friendly then as now. The Gimp, of course, who set the tone of the forum as an open and free area with minimal intrusion from the host, a tradition that I've been happy to see his successors continue. Mad Dog came along a little while later, and what a contribution he made, taking over for the Gimp when he, well, gimped out on having the time to run the board. Rick posted more in those days, and helped get the forum going.

I have a question for the assembled readers here: What do you think has been the best thing about Bring Out the Gimp?

For me it's been the interaction with Rick and the folks who enjoy ZFX titles. I like the way ideas can bounce around, and maybe in some way make it into Rick's movies. Anyone else?

Hard to believe it was three years ago today that this webpage, which is the only known ZFX discussion forum in cyberspace, began back on March 29, 1999. It was started by the dearly departed Gimp, as a result of a thread that began when he replied to one of my reviews on alt.sadistic. He e-mailed me and asked what I thought of the idea, and this site was born a few days later. With the exception of a few times when we got knocked off by technical problems, this site has been running continuously ever since.

To mark the occasion, I hope you like the changes I was able to make to the look of the page. I wanted to do something special for our anniversary. Rick e-mailed me some time ago and asked for a picture on the site, and we finally have one now. Who better to choose than ZFX's most prolific performer, Lisa Kinkaid? I know Damien will be happy :)

Thanks very much to everyone who visits here and posts to our humble little forum. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for the contributions of like-minded perverts such as yourselves, and this site belongs to all of you. And thanks especially to Rick Masters, who has made a career out of tying up women and torturing them on film for our enjoyment, and for the betterment of all mankind. I've really been on a hunt to find the most realistic abduction, bondage, rape, torture vids out there and ZFX remains the best. Is there anyone out there who recommends some good hard-core vids other than ZFX? I used to have a good Japanese bondage collection, and those were good but I had to sell off the collection when I needed cash. So, the reason for my entering this forum is to salute this page's three year anniversary (I've been viewing for some time but haven't posted) and to offer my salute to Rick Masters and all the girls of ZFX. I've got some good news and some bad news. Put away those pitchforks dammit! Hey you with the tar vat and the bag of feathers, step back! As you may have guessed, things are behind schedule(as per normal) but.... Ballista 3 has been released on VHS to the distributor! The bad news is, I am waiting on DVD blanks and thus the DVD production line has ground to a halt momentarily. The DVD release will probably lag behind the VHS release by about a week. The streaming site is still in the works. Some of the streams had to be re-encoded for some highly technical reasons which I dont want to bore you with. How long it will take to re-encode 10 movies I dont know, but I'm guessing a week to 10 days. My apologies for the incorrect date, but everything is always a work in progress around here. On the up side, the re-encoded files will be bigger and better quality=)Anyway, I have uploaded a new splash page with some gif animated captures from Ballista 3: Bound for Glory as well as a streaming banner promo. a couple quick comments...

Insex: Some really tight and imaginative bondage, descent to very hot chicks, but again the slave master thing(that seems to be the way its portrayed)is not my bag. But as far as slave master stuff goes, it is very interesting. I've not seen any actual motion stuff, only stills, but they look primo. I cant say I'm sad they dont do movies;P

RDF: Was a mailorder company in the 80s(I dont think they survived into the 90s)that seem to carry tons of 8mm loops of hardcore bondage and torture. I actually had a catalog(a rather crudely crafted black and white Xerox deal) and I tried to order from them but the letter came back as undeliverable and I can only assume that at that point they were out of business. That was 89-90, somewhere in there. Much of what they were offering looked domestic produced, but not by HOM, as most of the loops of the day were. Anyway, it seems for now, whatever they were selling is lost to antiquity, probably sitting in some basement or storage locker in Jersey. Thats it for now, thanks to all who read, contribute and watch the shows and to Ralphus who keeps the site alive for our collective amusement.

The Gimp? I don't think he's dead...but he has certainly disappeared. He has made just one appearance on this board since relinquishing his control over to Mad Dog two years ago, and I never heard from him after I took over. I have some big shoes to fill, and I would love to get this board back into the shape it was back when he was in control. I haven't forgotten about the archived posts; it's trying to figure out Tripod's system, as well as lack of time, that has me stifled.

Methos: Good to see a lurker finally step up and grace us with a post! That was a great post and we hope to hear from you more often. As far as good hardcore vids other than ZFX, I know Forbidden Video produced two original tapes that were both quite good, After School Surprise and Black Market Bondage, both starring a sweet honey named Guage, but use discretion when it comes to ordering their other stuff. Last time I was there, it looked like they had expanded their inventory and are now offering classic 70's bondage porn, too. Their website address is above.

To answer Iago's question, the best thing about this forum, IMO, is that it gives us a place to talk about our love of such socially taboo subjects, namely seeing beautiful girls attacked, tied up, raped, tortured and generally used and abused in whatever way we see fit, in an environment where's there no fear of scorn or ridicule. ZFX tapes aren't for everyone, but the people that come visit here really like them, because they are our dark dreams come to life, and arguably, no one does it better than ZFX. So just think of this place as a really cool, exclusive hangout for guys like us who understand the entertainment value in tying up and torturing girls, and aren't ashamed to admit it. :)

Second, I thank The Gimp (wherever he may be....) for starting this board, Mad Dog for maintaining it for a while (AND for his enlightening contributions that gave us an inside look on ZFX), and of course Ralphus for keeping things up and running. Over the past time, you gave us an opportunity to share thoughts on issues most of us never dreamed of sharing thoughts about.

IMO this board has become so much more than "just" a ZFX board. Many other issues have been debated over the years, lots of information has been shared, many questions were asked and answered.

Just the thought that all those who contributed to this forum managed to make it what it is today, gives me high hopes for the future. In fact, even if ZFX would seize to excist, this board is here to STAY!

Ralphus, did you really ahve to pick THIS pic for the board????? NOW I have to check at least 100 times a day, just to see if the pic is still there, and if Lisa looks still as cute as I think I remember she does...:-)
