Ralphus~Thanks for your latest review. It’s always nice to get some feedback so I can make a decision on whether to pick it up or not.

And a couple of areas that I don’t believe Rick has touched upon in his films (correct me if I’m wrongÖhaven’t seen all of them) are the vanity factor and maybe a more intense shock factor. What I mean by the vanity factor is preying upon the vanity of the victim. For example: A scene where the Perp has contacted a young lady under the guise of doingÖ. Let sayÖa hair removal commercial for a new product. He arranges to have her meet him at a certain location prior to the proposed shoot to rehearse. “You did remember to wear your bikini underneath didn’t you?”. As she strips to get ready to rehearse. He now pours some lotion from a plastic bottle, which is really chloroform (I prefer strangling to render a victim helpless personally) and goes to town. You can fill in the blanks from here. But you see what I mean as far as the vanity factor goes? Everyone wants to be an actress. Everyone wants to be a model.

I also think a little shock factor would be a nice addition. It has so many possibilities for great visuals. A couple of examples that come to mind would be a set up similar to the “Forced Entry”. Where two roommates are living at a residence. Both are out the evening when one of them comes home and goes to sleep. She wakes the following morning to opens the blinds in her bedroom to find right outside her window is her roommate strung up and unconscious after an intense rape/torture session. Maybe tied to a tree or against the house so she’s right against the window when the binds are opened. The roommate screams and runs out of the room right into the arms of the Perp. From here you can fill in the blanks.

As for what happened to the first roommate, and I know this goes against everything most viewers want, but would go as follows: First roommate comes home, dressed to kill in her high heals and short dress. Makes her way down the hall (camera follows at a little distance) and reaches into her room to flip the light switch and gets grabbed with a suddenness out of camera view. Literally pulled out of one of her shoes as the camera focuses on the shoe left behind. The scene now switches to show her naked (no shoes dammit ;) ), tied spread to a table and unconscious. She slowly wakes, trying hard to focus her eyes to gather in where she is and what’s happened. From here you can once again fill in the blanks. I know everybody likes on screen takedowns and stripping, I myself for that matter, but for a change of pace I think the above mentioned scene as an example would just provide such intense visuals. Especially with the lighting techniques Rick uses. I think it would bring his work to even more untouchable levels. Just my thoughts.

The blond partner spent a portion of the program with her inhibitions let loose, dresse herself in a murderously hot outfit, and proceeded to vamp it up. Cool stuff. There was even some bondage, though it involved her date, so I wasn't paying much attention to that part. PVC. Your friend and mine :-)

AvF: I do believe the Sandra Locke movie exists, but I do not remember a whole lot about it, which is not a good sign. I believe the movie might be called something like "The Second Coming of Suzanne". I remember it from the golden era of the independant video stores where you never knew what you could find. Anyway, the crucifixion scene was shown on the box. The following is conjecture: If I had access to this tape I would have rented it, and, if it was any good, I would have remembered it. But if I missed it and it is worth a viewing, let me know.

I like your abduction scenarios, too, especially the one where she sees her roommate already tied up outside with the perp right behind her, ready to get her, too. That was one way that the movie "Scream" blew it, because they had a stupid GUY out there tied up. Who wants to see that?

Iago, I like your take on my post on the vanity subject. Your addition kinda reminded me of a scene from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". There's a scene where a female victim gets brought to an old ramshakled house and gets tied to a chair. An old man, looking about a hundred, sucks blood from a cut inflicted on one of her fingers. The villianess from your addition could suck the "essence" from her tits. I could see the villian starting out looking over a hundred then slowly returning to youth and beauty with each victim. Oh yeaugh....and Mad Dog could play the part of the 100 plus old woman ;)

Someting else I like also is carrying of the victim. Have her attacked, stripped, tied, then carried nude to the finale destination. An over the shoulder nude carry looks so good! Ankles tied together, wrists behind the back. It just shows off the ass so well!....with lips showing, and the long lines of the legs unbroken.

Just some more thoughts.

Another topic I forgot to add last posting was one of a torture scene that could probably be done with computer enhancement. The scene set up could be a revenge or damsel in distress type where the victim is tied spread eagle on the ground. Next the villain pours honey on the victim’s crotch and leads a trail down her leg to an ants nest. The ants could probably be made by the computer after showing a few live ants at the beginning. Out in the elements, naked, spread and helpless. Works for me.

AvF: I love your staked out on the ground and tortured with ants idea! It's a great fantasy, but it would be hard to pull off realistically unless you do the real thing with live ants. I've seen it done on film before. WAVE Video did a horrible job with a nude Tina Krause in one of their videos, "Time Travelers". They didn't even use live ants, they used creepy-crawlers! Totally fake, and it looked it. Oliver Stone did it to three Asian girls who were tortured while tied to a stake in "Heaven and Earth". He used real ants, and it was a great scene. Computer-generated ants would probably look too fakey, and good luck actually persuading a ZFX actress to submit to being covered with real bugs for the sake of art! :) Still, it would be something new and altogether different for Rick to try, and I would applaud any attempt at this. I think my idea of being staked out in the sun and slowly roasted is a little more doable, though.

Iago: The hitchhiker movie with Penelope Pace was called simply "The Hitchhiker". It was pretty good, not great ZFX, but if you're looking for outdoors stuff, there was nothing other than the initial capture, if I recall. Some older tapes, "Spread Eagle", "Southern Discomfort" and "Highway to Hell" are some ZFX titles that featured outdoor bondage, with the latter one being the best of those, IMO. Anyone remember any others? It's been a few years since I recall seeing any at all.

As far as psychological and erotic type torture, I'm not sure if ANY of those tapes apply, actually. Rick is more into the "whip 'em bare" concept, although the Mincemeat Pie tapes both feature a lot of excellent threatening menacing before the actual whipping proceeds. Penelope is such a good actress that it all seems real, and that's what makes it exciting.

Esteemed members of the Panel; has anyone ever brought up sleep deprivation as an interrogation technique in a ZFX film? I do not believe it appears in a ZFX movie but I could be wrong. Picture, oh lets say, Kelly Mckay (great big surprise...But I am the one writing this so what would you expect?) on hands and knees, naked in a cell while commands and questions are shouted at her. Dark circles under her eyes, incoherent pleadings and responces, the ocasional slap in the face. This has obviously been going on for quite awhile. Finally she collapses into a fetal position, only to be electro-prodded awake, again and again and again. Could be one hell of a great scene. Comments?

Iago: My favorite Penelope Pace scenes are in the "Blunt Trauma" series, especially I and II. The first one does have a van abduction scene which I have always liked. The whipping scene with her suspended and her ankles taped together also rates very high, and the forced feeding scene in II has to rank in the ZFX Top Twenty.

Ralphus: Are the girls staked out in that Robert Stone movie clothed or unclothed? I might have to make a stop by the video store tonight. Staked out in the sun seems to rank high with enthusiasts although it is seldom portraid. Ants would be great but I would settle for sweat and straining limbs on a hot day at noon.

AvF: I know exactly what you mean about the bound naked, ass over the shoulder aesthetic, the unbroken line of the leg and implied helplessness of the scenario. There is a great example in a movie called either "Man Hunter" or "Man Eater". I think its German or Italian from the early eighties and stars Ursula Fellner (sometimes Buchfellner) who was a Playmate of the month around 1979. She is offered naked for sacrafice to a big ugly guy with bad eyes (yep, hoaky as all hell) who is worshipped by the local natives. The scene in which she is carried off by the bad eyed ogre is pretty cool though, and there is also a similar scene of her being carried out after her rescue. If you have not seen it, you owe yourself a viewing.

And I really like your idea of the electro torture to constantly jolt the sleep-deprived victim out of any kind of relief. Try to sleep? ZAP! Over and over. This torture will not end. We have all night.

"Heaven and Earth" is worth a rental for the torture scenes alone. I remember when it came out, it got criticism from some circles over the realistic torture in the movie. That was all it took for me to check it out right away! In the scene I mentioned earlier, three Asian girls are all tied to a stake (with their clothes on, sorry), and honey is painted on their legs. You see a shot of the ants swarming on them, obviously not faked. Then the evil torturers take snakes and shove them down the cleavage of each of the girls. Earlier, there was also a nicely done electric shock scene with the main girl tied to a chair. The electrodes are attached to her thumbs, I recall. What enhances the torture scenes is that the Asian victim is a genuine cutie, to boot. That might be a good project for you to tackle next time you decide to select a movie to make caps, Hank Hobbs. (hint, hint) :)

I also like the idea of the victim being put in peril by her own movments while tied. To use the above position as an example: Have her tied flat footed, standing under the forks of a fork lift (as just an example...I'm sure the devious mind can think up all kinds of different situations) with a noose around her neck. At first it draps loose around her neck but shes tied in such a way, with one of her legs pulled up behind her and tied to the lift lever of the forklift, that if she moves to much it lifts the forks. As she tires she makes more and more movement to where she ends up in the same position as the above, having to stand on her toes. As far as safety is concerned, once again this could be done with editing and close ups. Close up shot from a behind postion, showing her ankle tug at the handle and hearing the lift lever mechanism. Then full body shot showing her tied in the position but with the forklift off.

A lot of posiblities come to mind. In fact a good example could be taken from a movie called "Paradise Road" (I think anyway) about a WWII Japanese internment camp for women. One scene has a female prisoner tied out in the sun in a very awkard position. Shes on her knees (if I remember right) slightly bent forward but cannot relax her position in anyway since she'll impale herself in the spikes forcing her in that postion if she does. A ZFX variation could be having her impale herself on an electified dildoe or something.

Anyway, just some more food for thought.

Imabadman (are you?): That tape doesn't sound familiar, although there was a hardcore film called "Weekend Fantasies" that had a girl abducted and tied to a frame spreadeagled. I sure don't remember any banana, so that probably wasn't it. The action you mentioned leads me to believe that it might have been made pre-Meese, that is, in the 1970s or 80s. It's pretty rare to have a hardcore movie with bondage scenes in this day and age. Do you have any of these pictures in question? I could post them for the forum to see if anyone has any clues.

What do you guys think is more important? Good looks and a great performance, or great looks and an okay performance? This, uhm, isn't connected to the Gangstarr comment above. That movie gave us great looks and a great performance.

I think you have to start with looks. If the girl is not attractive, I don't care what happens to her. Tabitha Jordan never did much for me as a victim, but as a villain, I thought she excelled (for a girl, anyway). Kimber Allen was beautiful, but I seldom ever bought her scenes because I thought she was a mediocre actress. Then you've got people like Chandra Sweet, Monica Moore and Lisa Kinkaid, who possessed both great looks and played a victim believably. Nothing better than a beautiful girl who can scream and cry like it really hurts. Combine that girl with the typical ZFX scenario and it's hard to go wrong.

I think Rick mentioned that Penelope has been AWOL for some time, so we may have seen the last of her. I liked Kim Noble, once she was gagged (she seems to let herself be more free with her emoting once gagged). There are some other really good one, too.

Seriously though, I think I'd have to side with great looks and a passable preformance. A fan fav is always Penelope but she just dosent work for me. She's attractive, but somehow in my fantasies, she just dosent live up to what I envision. What I do prefer with at least a descent acting job is cute opposed to beautiful, earthyness vs. sultry. In short....the girl next door. I especially detest someone who looks vacant. Someone who looks like she wouldn't realize that what's happening...is a bad thing. Prime example...the most vacant looking actress on the face of the earth...Pamela Anderson.

Having to choose, it would have to be looks. But I would like to introduce another element which may or may not be tied in with acting. That would be authenticity. The suspension of disbelief goes a long way in the enjoyment of film. An example: There is a sort of obscure film from the eighties called "Enigma" in which there is a scene where a woman is being interrogated while naked in a cold dank Eastern European prison. Looks wise, she pales in comparison to most of the ZFX girls but she is passable. It is the realism of the scene and setting that sets the film high in my rankings. That and the fact that in earlier scenes she is portraid in everyday settings building contrast with the ordeal that follows.

Another type of authenticity is where, regardless of plot, you know the actress is actually feeling some of the ordeal that is being portraid. A lot can be done with effects, angles and light weight whips, but there those moments when I find myself thinking "thats got to hurt" or "I can't believe they convinced a beautiful woman to be hung spread out like that".

New topic: Imprisonment/interrogation films (ala SOB-IV) rank highest for me in the genres portraid by ZFX. Submitted to the panels consideration: a scene where two women (spies or smugglers etc) are captured and stripped for interrogation. One is gagged and strung up for torture, the other is tied to a chair but left un-gagged. It is the witnessing of her companions ordeal that is used to extract the information from the un-gagged prisoner. A sort of torture by proxy, with lots of eye contact between the gagged victem and the heroine holding the information. Perhaps the "talker" could be left clothed for contrast. A key moment would be early in the scene where the selection of who is to talk and who is to suffer is done in a random off-hand way, just luck of the draw.

Aqua-fans, there is a new film by Bondage Pleasures called "Bondage Solicitor" which has a passable bound in the bathtub with dunking scene. The rest of the film has its moments, but be warned, it does degenerate into a love fest in the last half.

And finally (chatty today, arn't I?) Its been awhile since we have heard from Rick. Are you out there filming? Rounding up actresses? Dreaming up something tastey for the crew? We can only hope...

Insex is nice (although I wish they would bring back "Peaches"!). What others sites do you think are worth paying for?

I think one way that might improve upon your suggestion would be to have her watch the other girl get tortured, then blurt out the information the interrogators are looking for. Except now that they have what they want, they proceed to torture the one who gave them the information, too! Like a line from the movie "Mob Story": "This isn't torture to make you talk. This is torture for the fun of it!" Hey, these are evil guys. They torture women. Think they would play by the rules and stop once they've extracted the information? The girls get tortured mercilessly either way. Sounds like my kind of tape :)

Third in a series on the product development phaze of the ultimate nymphomania inducing drug, Guinea Pigs-3 marks the debut of Kimber Allen and Holly Weston into the storyline. The previous two installments featured the electro-bound stylings of Alison Parrish on bedsprings, not to be missed in their own right. The first half of the film features Kimber Allen, an attractive brunette who never "showed it all" in any of her ZFX appearances. (only Rebecca Montgomery comes to mind as as the other ZFX actress who would not be seen without some covering over her crotch. Something in the contract?). Perhaps because of this frustrating aspect of her performances, I do not remember a lot of specifics of the first half of the film. The second half though, with the appearance of Holly Weston, is where things heat up.

Holly arrives at the lab in search of her abducted friend and is quickly overpowered and strung up by her wrists. She is wearing cut-off jean shorts and a tank top which are pealed off of her soon enough. After a thourough manhandling by Travis "luckiest man alive" Lee, a protracted flogging scene ensues. The scene rates high with me because she marks nicely and ends up covered in a sheen of sweat. That and a mouth built for ball gags. The high point though is when she is hoisted off her feet and hangs helplessly just inches off the floor. The film ends with another intense sequince, Holly bound bent over, ankles spread by a bar, her vagina held open by clothespins tied by string to the bar. The scientist scoops up a finger full of vasoline and proceeds.. well you can imagine what one would do under the circumstances.

Guinea Pigs-3 always rated high with me. Hope this helps.

Sorry I've been so tight lipped as of late, been working on something(hopefully;)a lot of you have will like: the ZFX streaming/retail site. Things are going well, I'd say we are still a month from completion. The streaming aspect of it is going to be in the Real media format, but the quality should be fairly good, particularly if you have a DSL, cable or other high bandwidth connection. I'm a bit behind on some of these comments, so bear with me...

Ballista 3: Unfortunately, all this other stuff is taking time away from editing Ballista 3, so it might be a while before it gets out. As soon as it can be done, it will be done;D

Looks vs. Acting: They are both extremely important, I'd tip the scales slightly to favor the acting. As someone (g-o) said, the suspension of disbelief is everything and poor acting takes away from this. Also, while the looks of the actress are important, if the acting sucks, I dont care how good looking the actress is, it wont save the show from being lousy. Also, the actress must fit the role. A gal with a huge boob job and tats all over is hard to buy as a school teacher for instance.

DVD: Steve, feel free to send me your DVD pressers info, I might be interested, but my guess is I'll wait till it can be done in house.

Ebay&bootleggers: Beware of bootlegs on Ebay. We just caught a company selling dupes on there, The sellers name was Worksofart4u based outta Missouri. Nevada Nick is no doubt Nick Long at S&L sales, which is a legit distributor. Others I would be extremely skeptical about.
