We know nothing can be perfect, and I think many have stated that we'd settle for less-than-perfect bondage in the beginning stages if it means a good struggle. Later in the movie, you can cutaway to elaborate setups. I think we just want to see the initial capture done right. After that, we can believe they get moved around simply because they're beaten into submission.

Been awhile since I've posted so I thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth and let ya know whats going on and whats on the horizon and hopefully answer a few questions to boot. The next ZFX movie will be likely titled "Phallicide" (not to be confused with Phanticide peepshow) which is basically the story of a beautiful journalist (played by incredilbly hot newcomer Talia Winter) who agrees to a dangerous meeting with a serial rapist and killer who has been terrorizing the city, dubbed the phallic killer because his trademark mo is leaving a phallic object in the bodies of his victims. Of course, things dont go the way she planned, and she quickly finds herself at the mercy of this sadist feind. Dont get too excited, I just started working on this, so its gonna be awhile, but I also have some new weapons in my editing arsenal(I have switched to a non linear editing system), so I'm hoping once I get past the learning curve, release times should begin to accelerate. As I've said before, I do the best I can:)

Gags on screen tying: Well, I think we do a lot of onscreen tying albeit generally with handcuffs. There is almost inveriabley a "takedown" scene where the heroine is grabbed, bound, stripped and gagged. As far as gags go, I generally prefer them both aethstetically and as a practical matter, they make the movie easier to shoot in some ways. There is no need for the actress to recite dialog or verbally interact with the villain, other than reactive grunts and groans which I find to be one of the most sensual sounds. As far as when a shot cuts away, these things are really less of a creative decision than a practical one. If its not shown, its often because its not possible or practical to show it. Everything we do is about budgeting the time we have to get the most and the best we can.

Jaekill: If you want some onscreen tying check out some older ZFX titles like Jennifers Nightmares and Hardbound TV.

Gary: Always nice to see ya contribute, you bring another inside perspective to this round robin. You mentioned about not feeling like your getting what you envisioned and thats a feeling I always get. Things never go as planned and you never get as far as fast as you think you will and its kind of a let down. But when you DO get that chemistry, it is very rewarding.

One of your most incredible scenes has to be the upside down dunking in SOB-IV. Obviously there had to be a lot of trust in the filming of that scene but still it could not have been easy. How was it like to film that scene? What were you thinking as you did it? What did you think when it was suggested?

In your last interview, you hinted that there were scenes you had done that were more extreme but had not yet been released. Can you hint some more?

Riddle me this Batman, Lets say you were Rick for a day? Drawing on your own ZFX knowledge as well as your own imaginations, what would be the next movie you made? Who would star in it? What sort of scenes would you shoot?

If I was Rick for a day, I would make...

"Sisters in Hell...Underland part III" Starring Lisa Kinkaid and Kelly Mckay.

Yes, this would be my ZFX dream team, and while they have appeared in numerous movies together they have never shared the same scene.

As this esteemed panel probably recalls, the Underland series revolves around Lisa's character searching for her sister, played by Kelly, who has been abducted to the lower regions by demons with a penchant for whipping. Lisa turns to first occult and then to psychology in quest of her sister, eventually servicing a demon on her own in the psychiatrists office and then subjected to electro- >shock therapy.

In the first scene of "Sisters in Hell, Lisa awakes, fully clothed on the psychiatrists couch. She is assured that she fell asleep under hypnosis. It had all been a dream! ( or, echoing "The Plant", had it?). Her grip on reality slipping, she leaves for home in a daze. Had her sister been abucted by demons at all? Maybe she was going crazy. Then, she is approached by a stranger who offers her help in finding her sister. Shocked with the offer and still groggy from her visit to the psychiatrist she accepts. The stranger takes her to a building and leads her to a staircase, heading down....

Cut to Kelly in the late stages of a demonic torture session. She has been in the lower levels of hell for a long time. After they are finished with her, the demons drag her naked unconsious form into barren cell..

It is in this cell where the touching reunion of the sisters take place, with a clothed Lisa thrown in to the cell with Kelly. (This is based on one of my favorite ZFX scenes, in a later "Video Pirates" IV? Kelly McKay is suspended naked when Candy Licks attempts to rescue her. The contrast between the two, one nude, the other clothed, made a great scene, a theme seldom, if ever repeated in later ZFX productions).

Lisa comforts and revives her sister, then (surprise!) its her turn for the demonic frenzy, all in the terrified >view of Kelly. The following scene, with the two sisters naked, marked and exhausted in the cell sets a standard for poingant ZFX scenes for years to come.

The movie concludes with a dual torturing scene of the sisters, which is followed by a forced sex scene between the two of them (the taboos!). This can be accomplished as a condition to stop the torture, or, as an example of demonic mind control, where their bodies are forced to act one way, while their minds helplessly observe. As the sounds of unwanted orgasms fill the air, the flames rise and the movie ends....

So there you have it. What movie would you make? After all, you get to be... Rick for a day!

Submersion has not been tackled much, if at all, in ZFX--probably a bit too dangerous; liability issues, etc. InSex did something with a woman in a water-filled tub wearing a gas mask/breathing apparatus a few years back that wasn't the be-all-end-all, but had alot of promise.

If I were Rick, I would try to stretch a bit and maybe attempt some new ideas. I like the other suggestions that have been brought up recently, and here's one of my own I would like to see. Okay, we have Lisa Kinkaid in a new version of "Survivor". She ends up stranded on an island, where the jungle inhabitants decide to torture her with their native sacrifice rituals. She gets staked spreadeagle to the ground and allowed to bake in the sun. If she gets thirsty, she could be given water (or better yet, piss!) through a funnel devise attached to her mouth. "If I was Rick for a day" I´d do several things (maybe some
more days):

Find a European distributor for my products who would have less trouble with custom controls inside Europe and who would sell VHS PAL tapes without taking 90 BUCKS for a copy. Sorry, Rick, but that´s the best way to boost bootlegging, at least at the European market. My player can handle NTSC format, but most here don´t.

Start selling my older movies on VCD or DVD. Better quality, better long time storage, lower package weight, could be declared as music CD (lower risk of confiscation).

I´d start bringing out my own version of "Torrid Tales", a collection of short movies, always 4 of them together on one cassette: Old material out of my cutting room, good ideas from contributors of this forum, some of my own little ideas I didn´t realize yet because they would´nt make a 90-minutes-big-movie, and some specials (torture, whipping, rape, monster, ...). All this stuff that could be nice to watch but has not enough storyline or content to be a >stand-alone movie.

And in a better world, where the adult movie makers are free to do whatever they like, I´d do the "perfect taco" (IMO of course): A home-invasion-type of movie, called
