I also very much like metal handcuffs. It is a basic but very effective restraint and is still used today, also on women (which is a good thing). There are many various types and models but my preference goes to the so-called security (rigid, or hinged) handcuffs which leaves very little possibility of movement to the prisoner and is therefore very suitable for the disobedient or rebellious female.
Ideally the hands should always be cuffed behind the back but front is acceptable, provided that the cuffs are attached to a security (lockable) waistbelt.
