Ah, what a missed opportunity that was... Ornella Muti, among the most beautiful women of the mid seventies-mid eighties epoch, has done a lot of topless and even fully nude scenes before and after. Here are two more photos: Maybe the boreworms live in the WATER... in the small container. So we can talk about the scene here.

I went into the movie back in 1980 just for that scene. I like that scene. For various reasons.
- It's an interrogation scene.
- Aura shows that she is in pain, but does not complain.
- She is really whipped (even though the whip straps are made of soft fabric).
- Aura is not "rescued" but tortured with the boreworms until she talks (not onscreen - she tells it later).

Of course it would have been much nicer if Aura had been strapped topless on this funny whipping bench. But then the camera work would have been difficult..... without showing her nipples.
