If I learnt something watching the current discourses is that natives are never at fault, it's always the colonizers' fault. Need you to watch these savage description of torture through these lenses. The tied victim, about to lose her nipples at the hands of a local boy, well, she's actually the bad guy (or gal).

An Image, from the web (?), titled “Pawnees”. Maybe originally a Damian image, it’s been heavily modified.
While this filename references a real Indian tribe, the Pawnee, populating Nebraska and Kansas, were relatively peaceful.
The Apache, and Comanche, by contrast, were infamous for their brutality.
