You will never see the mines or any of the other of the 14 sets ever again. The studio where ALL the BH movies were filmed was sold. Currently shooting is taking place in a luxurious villa near Prague.

I also feel sad, but things have to move ahead. BH is only a small portion of the owner's business, which is the studio rental and mainstream TV and movie production. To my knowledge one of the biggest production companies in Europe made him "an offer he just could not refuse" . He also is of a retirement age, so I cannot blame him.

It is up to BH team hopefully to prove you wrong and the new film which just wrapped ( and more in the future) will be just fine.

Also, if you watched BH movies just for the sets and the rest you did not care about, then of course BH will loose you as a customer, but c' est la vie.

......In this movie there was the best slave auction scene I've ever seen.....

Oh those were the days when you could rent a chateau near Prague for a " couple of grand" a day and shoot what you want, basically had a run of the place. Now you would have to pay "north" of 10 grand/ day and have a script approved ahead of time. Any nudity or sex scenes are "verboten" . That is how far the political correctness went, even in the " Wild East".

The rest is easy to deduce. Back in 1994, when Dark Confessions was shot, the VHS rental market easily absorbed its budget of about 500,000 Dollars and actually made a profit. Today, a budget of about $ 50,000 is in the "streaming and pirate driven " market about a max any real movie can " safely" be made. But even this is getting harder and harder.

Dark Confessions shot for 21 days, average BH movie today must be shot in 6 to 8 days. Crew of 60 + is today about 20.That is today's reality.

Comparing DC auction with 150 extras, 15 beautiful models and the rest of the cast, to an auction in one of the recent BH movies, would be like comparing apples and oranges ( unfortunately )

... and the models ? Getting uglier by the day... Tattoos everywhere, Botox ( lips, cheeks and ass), horrible plastic boobs, eyelashes made from brooms. Most do not care how they look. There is NO longer " soft" market models. All are porn stars where the look is ( I guess) inconsequential. Horrible !!!! BH is still finding nice looking models but it is an effort.
