Crotch Ropes

I'm surprised that crotch ropes haven't been the subject of a previous topic - it's one of my favourite elements in any GIMP scenario. The first time I ever saw a crotch rope being used on a woman was about 1987 when I purchased the magazine adaptation of the Blakemore classic 'Bittersweet Revenge'. In one scene a woman was tied to a chair with her leg up - the attached rope went over a pulley and then between the legs of her standing friend. She had to keep her leg up to avoid tightening the rope but soon the strain began to tell and the rope was soon slicing into her friend's crotch along with her panties - great scene!

The attached are from the CalStar classic 'Tourist Trap' - Jenny (Sybil Lake) has been captured - accused of being a spy she's being interrogated. Flat on the Commander's desk, she's hoisted into a painful back arch using a crotch rope

Jenny's now in position and we get a nice side view and closeup of the rope cutting into her panties and crotch

Jenny's lowered back to the desk and you might think that there going to show her some mercy - however, they're going to add to her torment by attaching some nipple clamps!

Poor Jenny's hoisted back into the back arch - this time she's further tormented as The Commander grips the crotch rope and gives it a shake - he then pulls on the nipple clamps to encourage her to keep that back arched as if the rope cutting into her crotch isn't enough!
Her heels scrabble on the top of the desk as she struggles to keep her balance

She's let down again but not for long - soon the other guy is 'helping' her back up again but he then removes his hand and, once again, she has to maintain her position, her back arched painfully, to avoid increasing the punishment of her crotch.
Great scene, one of my favourites - I was impressed how Sybil Lake managed to maintain that position while wearing high heels on a polished desk top!

There were many "crotch rope" scenes posted here and there in this forum but not a specific topic (so far). There's also a (long inactive) "knotted rope" topic somewhere.
I had this (CAL) "Tourist Trap" video in the early 80ies end remember this great scene verty well.

Okay, I don't want to be That Guy, but I have to put up my two cents here. Crotch ropes annoy the crap out of me. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the basic idea done once in awhile. But there are factors. Factors, I tells ya.

1. Crotch ropes are ropes. I really don't like ropes. My first reaction on seeing ropes in bondage, everything else being perfect, is "it's really a shame you couldn't afford real restraints."

2. Crotch ropes were done to death in the 1970's and 1980's when you couldn't show any form of penetration with bondage. So instead of that we got crotch ropes. Much as we get bukkake and golden showers and other fluid play, often without bondage even, in like a third of everything nowadays because everyone is paranoid about the rules.

3. Crotch ropes interfere with access. Question 1 for me is always why are you tying the girl up. Obviously to do something that she would try to stop you from doing if she wasn't tied up, right? Well that whole insertion thing is kind of high on that list for me, and crotch ropes kind of get in the way. Also the positions that are devised to make the crotch rope look stressful are often awkward and unbelievable.

Anyway, okay, I'll go away now. Sorry for the rant.
