Just for fun

Post by Ed2 »

Several years ago, I got the urge to do a little parody of the Julie Andrews Sound Of Music song, My Favorite Things. Since gimps are some of my favorites, I went with that. I had fun.

My Favorite Things

(Tune from Sound of Music movie song)

Flog a girl's body until you draw blood
Increase the force till it flows like a flood
Hearing her squeal about how the whip stings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Chorus

When there's no fucks
And no cock sucks
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Nazi electrodes on wired up nipples
Adjusting the dial to make voltage that ripples
Continue to shock her until the bitch sings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Repeat chorus

Inquisitors Questioning, looking for sin
Hot glowing irons they press against skin
Dark chambers crafted by Catholic kings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Repeat chorus

Stretching a witch facing up on the rack
Turning the thumbscrews until her joints crack
Then hoist by her titties with ropes tied to rings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Repeat chorus

That's the best poem I've ever read.

Find the music. I took special care to mirror the song verse scheme and syntax. I rarely do this kind of thing (I have one published Robert Service variation, but that's unrelated), but sometimes there is an urge. This one really needs the associated music.

Actually, it's The Pickling Of Joe Mcgee, but good luck finding it. Still my best work.

I wonder if that is how she would have reacted to the new lyrics...
