It's actually a gag efficiency test: if the ball pops out the test failed.

It popped out and we had to find something more secure and reliable for this noisy bitch.

May I (respectfully) disagree with you on this point.
We MUST know all the gimp's preferences to find out what she dislike the most.
Give her the choice, then use the most unpleasant (to her) option.
