Just go to any zoo populated with the higher apes and watch the action. The alpha male with the female "harem" and the young male challengers hanging around watching and waiting for a chance to steal one for himself. Are humans any different?
Muslims can have as many as five wives if they can afford them. Some sects of Mormons allow for several wives . I would like to meet the man with the sexual stamina to keep five wives satisfied? A woman can easily have several orgasms during sex activity but I have never met a man who can climax more than once during sex so it would make more sense for a woman to be polygamous and have several male partners.

Because some people say that "submissive" women (like in the Gor novels) are women in their "natural" state. While I surmise that women of past history accepted what seemed like a "natural" role for them and men did the same. Whereas in todays machine and tool-aided age, the distinction between the roles have become somewhat blurred as pure physical strength becomes less important?
Evolution is mental as well as physical? Times change as well?
Am I making sense?

I agree with that. I don't think it's possible to define a 'natural state' for women in today's world, and perhaps not even for men either. Outside of procreation, everything else is up to the individual person as to what role they play in life. Unfortunately there are places, and religions in the world, that forbid those choices for females, and I suspect most everyone here would condemn that as they should. You cannot force human beings to 'devolve' with an antiquated belief system that is incapatible with the what is considered to be basic human rights.
And yes mental evolution is just as important and the physical part. The misery suffered by women in certain parts of the world are what you get when that doesn't happen.
