Paper clips, mounting clamps, pipe wrenches, ... cheap, easy to find and very useful tools.

And don't forget the classic mousetrap. It doesn't really hurt but better than nothing if you if you don't have anything else on hand:

And for the little more adventurous do-it-yourselfers these can be built in a couple of hours with cheap materials readily available at your hardware hobby shop:
