She nagged her husband. He called for the Scold's Bridle to teach her a lesson. She is led through the streets and left chained to the Market Cross for a day to be abused by the crowd. Then her husband takes her home. He keeps her chained to a special hook, next to the fire place for a week. In the future she will hold her tongue.
