Tour of the Torture Chamber Trope

One trope found in mainstream movies and TV with GIMP is what I would call the Tour of the Torture Chamber trope where a character is walking through the dungeon past a variety of different tortures being applied to prisoners. Burial of the Rats (1995) has a sequence like this when Maria Ford is taken down to the dungeon. Night of the Blood Monster/Bloody Judge (1970) also has a sequence like this as Howard Vernon as the executioner enters the dungeon.
