...I'm certainly miss the good old days when the insufferable midget was in charge of the old place. Not to speak bad about Margot but things are not well in Denmark.

In Margot's defense, the Forum has morphed into an image-based one, from the text-based one. I think when Amy re-engineered the Forum, she also made it a lot easier to add images, and that's when the images started flooding in.

I like to think that you can go back to the old Forum, and even look at image posts from 20 years ago, but in reality, who is going to do that, maybe one in hundreds of visitors?

Idk, crux is 10 times heavier (with restrictions too but still heavy) and they run money collections to the tune of 250 bucks every 3 months or so and they pay for HTTPS too (encryption that keeps the ISP away from what you do on Ralphus.net).

If I recall right 100 bucks a month was the bill for Ralphus back in the day too ...

Margot is doing the best she can with a bad situation.

No doubt about it. Probably due to the shoestring budget*. I'm not saying more since I don't have the numbers but this board is NOT heavy under any definition unless the hosting costs increased 100 times since the last of my Web projects 2 years ago when I had to compare prices.

* easy to understand if one considers that Margot has to sell a fixed, mostly old collection of video materials. Without consistent new entries and with a rather limited and diminishing audience in a highly competitive fetish market, probably she can't afford more muscular hosting. Still better than nothing.
