Undercover Inspector Nadia had lived two years as “Nia,” the syndicate’s ice-cold enforcer. One careless glance at an old family photo on a seized phone ended everything. Now she hangs naked from a warehouse beam, wrists raw, blood tracing slow rivers down her bruised body.

The men she once drank with take turns: knives, pliers, cigarette burns, questions hissed between her screams. Her former lover-turned-interrogator presses a blade beneath her rib. Nadia spits blood and lies. Names, dates, drop points, buying minutes while the microscopic tracker in her molar prays for a signal. Every gasp is defiance. Every tear, ammunition.

Love the theme of the Mekong Delta. It's wonderfully staged with all the soldiers that look maniacal, you feel the intense precarious danger of her situation.
