Knife Work.
Since 2024, I have been creating my images primarily with the support of AI.
This is essentially the workflow:
As usual, I create a scene in DazStudio, i.e., a 3D CG image. I then enhance this image with the free version of Krea.AI.
After running it through Krea, I replace malformed parts such as crippled hands, incorrectly rendered devices, etc. with parts from the original DazStudio image using the PhotoScape X Pro photo editing program. I replace faces that I don't like with Fooocus-AI. I then adjust these replaced elements, in terms of color, etc., to the Krea AI image using a masking technique from PhotoScape.
After that, I apply a few filters to the revised image until I like it, label it, and then I have the finished image as a result.
For my image “Knife Work,” I was inspired by the outstanding AI creations of John Delves Richardson, which were either created directly with AI as oil paintings or later edited in a photo program with a suitable filter, I also tried to create an oil painting using only AI. So without DazStudio.
To do this, I used the AI program Forge UI with a flux checkpoint and various Loras to create an oil painting directly. I then edited it in PhotoScape with slightly enhancing color filters and added text. That was it. So no oil painting filter. It sounds simple, but it took several runs with Forge UI before I got a result I liked.
Story behind the image:
The SS soldier returns from his lunch break and says to the completely demoralized spy:
“Right, now I've eaten something and regained my strength for another interrogation with you. We'll continue our knife work. Working on your tits. So keep still. If you grab my knife, I'll break your arms and legs!”

Arthur, you're so uneven, mon ami ... previous one was amazing, this one looks (to me at least) fake like a 3 dollars bill.
Or might be my dislike of the AI, as a great homogenizer. I start like less and less even the output of Jucundus, Allah bless his beard.

I'm not inconsistent. I'm just eager to experiment.doe.1971 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 10, 2025 1:16 am Arthur, you're so uneven, mon ami ... previous one was amazing, this one looks (to me at least) fake like a 3 dollars bill.

I described why I made this image in the text of “Knife Work.” I wanted to achieve this effect with this image. I sacrificed some time to do so. Especially because I always put a comma instead of a period in Lora's parameter settings.
On the subject of Jucundus, I can only say that he does a great job.
His translation of sketches into images is unmatched. Suddenly, you see sketches that you've been using as a guide for years from a different perspective.
However, this does not detract from the achievement of the artists who made the original sketches, because they are two completely different styles.
One more thing: my name is not Arthur. It is spelled Artur. That's how it's written in my passport.
