I have no idea what to expect over the next decade, although it is true that there aren't too many albums being released on LPs or CDs.

No, but I remember distinctly when Carrie Fisher was thundering against the metal bikini, as a symbol of patriarchy and the opression. While it's true that's still popular with the masses, Disney and Lucasfilm heads (ex aequo the elites) decided to stop making collectibles of the Princess Leia in that outfit. Advice to you, mon ami, you should be paying attention to people who hold the steering wheel, not the passangers of the boat.
