I'm already there. I still do AI stuff at times but the novelty wore off. I'm sure in the near future, where the possibility of AI will greatly improve I'll rejoin the crowd.
Even though I never managed to get to first base with AI, I think your comments are to the point.

Will, mon ami, if you have a graphic card made in the last 3..4 years you can install and start playing on your computer in an afternoon. I posted a step-by-step workflow somewhere here that can guide you into this.

I can testify to the effectiveness of JD's instructions. They're in his own thread, about a month ago, and if you look further, you'll see the questions I had and the answers I got.

But you do need an up-to-date Nvidia card for both DAZ and AI. Ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching!!

I'm willing to look at the kind of images you mentioned, especially if torture is at least implied. Did you see the image I did for JD's thread when he posted a couple of images from Vincent Price's "Tower of London" rack scene?

I can't remember where I picked this Burning at the Stake image, but the artist is definitely skilled. The only problem I can find with it is that his heroine is over-dressed. But AI can take care of that . . .

This is the first image I tried to modify with AI, and I made every beginner's mistake possible. Many thanks to JD in posting a set of tutorial steps that allowed me to do something at least reasonably good looking. I didn't do anything about the heroine's expression for two reasons: (1) I didn't know how (and I still find changing the expression to be just about the hardest thing to do with Fooocus AI), and (2) the heroine already looks pretty exhausted from what the Germans have done to her.
