No, I didn't do this one. I didn't start experimenting with AI until late May and into June. However, this is how I would do this image today. It's kind of a hard one to do, since the artwork back in 1938 wasn't all that detailed.
Love your work, Bleumune! You and I have similar tastes, especially when it comes to fiery peril. This original image is one of my personal faves, and you've improved up on it. Excellent job!
Thanks for the appreciation, Ralphus! It makes it much easier to continue!

Yes, indeed, fiery peril is hard to beat (even if it's hard to portray believably!)

Here's a magazine that falls into one of two categories -- 1. Safari captured by natives, or 2. Threatened by snakes. Now, Indiana Jones didn't handle snakes well, but I grew up in the southwest of the United States. Snakes, even the poisonous variety, were just a fact of life, and I never shared Indiana's phobia.

HOWEVER ( :? ), a number of people in my life are scared to death of snakes. So here's Man's Adventure 1958-03 with snakes and an appropriately clothed (that is, unclothed!) heroine!

You mean Jucundus? He's active here?! Where? Did you see that one AI of his with roasting feet? Pure perfection. He's truly the Master of the trade.

I'd like to see it. If you want to re-post it or link to it, go ahead.
I don't think Jucundus has posted here for awhile. That's right, get elected to our Hall of Fame, then disappear?

Technically, to lurk, I think you have to read the board and not contribute. That doesn't really apply to me anymore. I just happened to stop by and saw Bleumune had posted some of his artworks and I wanted to let him know what a fan I am of his work.

Boy, isn't that the truth! I just about sprain my arm patting myself on the back for my efforts, and then I see imagery like those Jucundus foot roasting images! I don't know how he does it so well--I just wish he'd post more!

I had not seen these Jucundus images before, so thank you for the tip. I'll really need to go to VoD more often.

Instead of the Maestro Jucundus, I can only offer more of my AI-manipulated Men's magazine art. I know it's not as popular as some subjects, but it was huge for me when I was a youngster. Imagine being able to peruse such magazines in the grocery store or drug store while the parents were shopping! Couldn't happen today! But the artists doing the cover art had to manipulate the torn shreds of the heroine's clothing to obscure all the private areas, which was a downer.

Anyway, here's snakes again. Men in Conflict 1961-10.
