I haven’t seen this big budget Japanese sci-fi adventure flick except for the whipping scene, where Nao Nagasawa, wearing a sexy black bustier and leather shorts, is chained AOH and beaten with a nightstick. Nao looks great, but the scene is edited in such a way that no impact is shown. She explains to the bad guy that her costume protects her from being hurt, and the guy dejectedly drops the nightstick and orders her to be let go. Wouldn’t it have been better to cut her clothes off her? Oh well.
