Well, with rumors circulating that YouTied may soon return, I thought I should post some EXCITING NEWS!!!!

Believe it or not, Ralphus and I have reached a truce!! In fact, once YouTied returns, we may even enter a partnership to jointly moderate a chat forum on that site!! Or perhaps jointly moderate THIS ONE!!!

Shocking, isn't it??!! Well, here's what happened! I was on a forum with bondage enthusiasts, chatting with my buddy Hobra, when who should show up online but ... Ralphus!!! Boy, was I worried!! I was sure we would all get into some of the mud-slinging and name-calling that everyone remembers from our YouTied days!!! Instead, something wonderful happened!! We chatted for a bit, and realized we have a lot of COMMON GROUND!!!!

Hobra admitted he had seen a few movies by that guy, Be El Zabub, or whatever his name is! And he enjoyed them!!! And I confessed that I had seen a couple of movies where some American lady named Natasha Blaze, or Blade, or something like that, is tied up and raped!! And I thought they were pretty good!!!!

Then, Ralphus spoke up! His story was really touching!!! He said he's been racked with guilt, because he realizes many of his perversions are UNHEALTHY!!!! But he hasn't known how to break it to anyone here!! I said I would help!!!

Apparently, the breaking point came when Ralphus saw the trailer for some upcoming movie with Jessica Alba, where Jessica's face gets smashed in!! That's AWFUL!!!! -- I wasn't surprised to learn there has been controversy about that movie!! Anyway, Ralphus was apparently so upset after he saw that trailer, he couldn't sleep!!! He couldn't understand how anyone could enjoy seeing a pretty woman being harmed that way, and it made him re-examine his entire life!!! Ultimately, he realized that bondage movies are fun to watch, but some of the extreme stuff is just SICK!!!!

I couldn't believe what I was reading!!! It was so moving!!! I tell you, Ralphus and Hobra and me, we chatted for hours!! And that's when we agreed, for the sake of the international bondage community, that we should JOIN FORCES!!!!

Now, I know not everyone will like this news! I bet Brutus will be a total shit about it!!! Same goes for Dr. Yuya and his silly cartoons!!! Don't even get me started on that Canadian asshole and his DISGUSTING videos with Japanese girls who are under age!!!!

But I hope most of you will embrace this new partnership!! We have truly formed a UNITED FRONT!!!! So, yeah, it has been a while. Congrats on 11 years and all that. Just my luck that I time my reappearance to coincide with someone impersonating that asshole Bondage Dave. If I were on the opposite coast I would slip across the border and, um, "look him up" so to speak.

I've been kind of bummed since my secret dungeon and harem was uncovered. I discover that I have so taken for granted good construction and sturdily built racks and specialty equipment. I am amazed how flimsy seedy motel ceilings are. You have to find a good strong stud before you can attach any kind of load-bearing pulley mechanism. And good luck finding a place sufficiently off the radar with a nice, high ceiling. Or king-size beds with bed posts, or even something to which you can attach ropes and cuffs. It's kind of annoying.

I am also keeping track of the relative merits and attractiveness of regional vict--, er, babes. Personally, I think the Beach Boys got it all wrong, since California Girls seem to be the most tattooed, although honestly New Yorkers aren't known for unadorned skin either. Before this place turned into the Twilight Zone for a day, YikYakker asked about 3 movies that he's considering reviewing. It just so happens I've seen all 3 of them, and all have very GIMP-worthy scenes in them.

I haven't seen Slave of the Sword for years, but it does have a very nice whipping scene and I believe at least one other sequence that I added to my highlights tape, although it's too late tonight for me to look it up right now. I have warm feelings for that movie, though.

Last House on the Beach: I just saw this one again in a beautiful letterboxed DVD print (my old copy was a muddy full-screen VHS). One real nice sequence in which a cute virginal girl is tape-gagged and gets her pussy penetrated with a stick. Not as graphic as it sounds; worth it for the attractiveness of the victim. There's another previous sequence in which she's attacked while topless and her mouth gagged before she fights off her attacker.

And of course, most have us have seen The Hitcher, in which the former princess of Ridgemont High, Jennifer Jason Leigh, has to split. Which I understand they ruined in the remake by casting a guy in the same role. I would welcome a review of any of those films. It wasn't until Ralphus posted a prank of his own at around 12:26 PM that I realized the targets of the pranks were the board's readers.

Also, I said that I won't fall for April Fools pranks because I couldn't allow myself to be suckered by one, especially after playing a prank of my own that suckered several people at another (non-gimp) website. I'll post a link to the site if anyone is interested in seeing the prank message I posted over there, all you need to do is ask.

Things are pretty much the same here, although one of the dropouts from the John Galt/A Canadian School of Reviews has gone wild and is posting reviews that read like some sort of trippy game show.

Close Your Eyes is about a London hypnotherapist with the ability to see into his patients' minds. While attempting to cure female detective of smoking, the Dr. sees a vision related to the case she is currently working on--that of a missing young girl. Days later, the girl is found, unable to speak and with strange marks on her body.

Not a bad occult thriller. The main draw for me to want to see this one is it starred Sophie Stuckey (The Dark). Unfortunately she was a bit too young in this one to be enjoyable on that level.

Mini mainstream movie review of Penance

Penance
Penance (2009) trailer

Penance is about a single mom (played by Marieh Delfino) who is desperate for money. She is preparing a video audition to get on a reality show but realizes she needs to show more confidence. She hooks up with an old friend who happens to be a exotic dancer and gets coaxed into dancing herself to gain that self-assurance. She ends up dancing once and decided that once was enough, as she gets the desired result of added confidence.

A short while later she gets a phone call from her dancer friend. It turns out she has just been beat up and can’t make a gig she’s been scheduled to do. Knowing Amelia (Marieh) is in need of money, she suggest that Amelia keep her gig as it “pays $3000.00 for 20 minutes.” Amelia is picked by limo as she assumes her friend’s identity for the evening. A decision that turns out to be the worst decision of her life.

Gimp wise there are three scenes of interest. The first one is a very minor one of a handcuffed topless stripper being lead to her cell.

The Second one has Amelia strapped standing to some sort of framework. She gets her top ripped off and then gets whipped a number of times.

The third scene is kind of a gross one as Amelia is gagged and gets strapped to an exam table. She then gets her clit and vaginal lips cut off (geeze!).

In addition to the above mentioned, there are also a few stun-gun tortures….but are un-bound.

As entertainment, not bad I guess…..if you can put up with Cloverfield or Blair Witch type filming as the entire movie is done from a documentation perspective of either Amelia or the captors. A plus is that Sita Young (Drive Thru) has a small part in this. Plus lots of nudity….including Sita Young (Yes!!!). But no Gimpage from Sita (Damn-it Jim!). Grade C

Gimp wise, a fair whipping though a little obscured by the grating, and an OK strapped to exam table scene (until the later gets too gross). The stun-gun scenes aren’t bad either (but as mentioned, no Gimp in these). Grade C+

I would also like to make a withdrawal and I am aware that I have little to deposit. I am very interested in the list of whippings in the visual entertainment media. A long time interest I assure you. I have no idea of the movie, but my pornographic movie has a vivid recollection of a Roman themed presentation where the female was tied to a post, stripped, and whipped. Call me a stick in the mud, but honestly, I'm not a big fan of New Year's pranks. We went the first 10 years on this forum without any until this year. And it tends to go a little overboard when someone spoofs someone else's identity and we're left wondering what's real and what's someone pulling a prank. In the past few days, we've gotten strange posts from Bondage Dave (never posted here), John Galt (a former regular who's been mysteriously AWOL over 6 months), Damien (who passed away years ago) and Hobra (never posted here). Which is real, which is a spoof?

I was particularly bothered that I thought somebody had created a fictional Galt post as some sort of April Fool's day joke, because he's an online friend of mine and frankly, when he disappeared back in September, I feared the worst and that we might never hear from him again. And then his name suddenly shows up again...and it's on April Fool's Day? Up until this evening, I figured it was probably fake. But John wrote me back tonight and confirmed it was indeed him.

I'm going to respectfully ask my fellow GIMPers not to create any more joke posts under a different moniker, even if you think it's obvious that you're joking. Heck, everything is still anonymous; we all use phony screen names, but pick one and stick with it. I just don't want anyone using another person's identity. Yeah, I feel bad about the "Hobra" post. In hindsight, I should have stopped after the first sentence. I screwed up, and I apologize.

I'm not feeling so bad about the "Bondage Dave" post. Yes, it was an April Fool's joke, but the emphasis was more on the joke, rather than fooling anyone -- and I don't think it did fool anyone. The situation it described was far too outlandish, and it included links (the Jessica Alba photo, and the URL link to the story of Hillary Clinton trash-talking Canada) that were intended to reveal that it was really me behind the post.

As for the Damien post, my hands are clean. I wasn't behind that one.

A day or so late on this one, but let me the first one (Can that really be true?) to thank you for the latest edition of Which One Has The Gimp. BTW, how much do I rock? Not only do I get the answer right again, I actually had the incredible forethought to post a description and a video clip of the winning movie before you even posted the quiz. I don't think you can much better than that, can you? That's akin to giving the correct answer on "Jeopardy" before Alex Trebek even asks the question.

BTW, speaking of Penance, the film's website boasts about it containing "The most outrageously graphic scene in movie history", and they are referring to a scene in which the male religious fanatic cuts off his own penis for the camera. Yeah, right. Ho hum. But I'm being serious here. One of the most disturbing scenes I've ever seen occurs earlier in the film, when the same guy takes his knife and slices off Marieh Delfino's pussy lips and clitoris while she's strapped down to the operating table. And you couldn't even see anything, just heard him doing the play by play while she screams as it's happening. That seriously grossed me out. I wasn't turned on at all, I was just saddened and angry when I saw that. Nothing hammered home the message better that while distress can be a wonderful thing, mutilation is just taking it too far. Yep, that scene bothered me a lot.

Frank: While I was typing out this post, YikYakker gave the correct answer to your mystery film, Amazons of Rome. I had never seen that film before but when I was searching YouTube to try to find clips for the Whipping Scenes Database I came across it. And even if you feel you don't have much to add, you can always contribute your opinions about whipping, bondage, etc. As "a very old fellow", I imagine you've seen a lot. We're glad to have you here.

The daily picture is starting to become too bloody for my tastes. I don't mind seeing stripes and whipmarks on a woman as long as they look like just that, whipmarks. The girl in the daily picture is beginning to look all bloodied and beaten, and that's too gruesome for my tastes. It's starting to look like the kind of material that Red Feline puts out. Eda and Ralphus: Corinne Clery and Rona DeRicci are two excellent choices. My problem is that when I start to think about the most beautiful woman in a GIMP scene, my head starts to spin (and other bodily reactions occur).

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the version with Rona De Ricci. The only one I’ve seen was the b&w one with Barbara Steele. She was perfectly cast in those old b&w’s as she was attractive and pretty scary looking at the same time.

As far as the impromptu poll question, I think I’d be Eliza Dushku. Although not my favorite (that honor goes to Scarlett Johanssen) and hasn’t appeared in a nude Gimp scene, the times she has appeared she sure does look sweet.

There may be others we wish to collectively endorse. For example, Red Feline would qualify in the best company category, I believe.

In case there are any newcomers casting votes, please be aware that you can vote once a day, every day, from now until April 17. If I'm reading the nomination page correctly, it may not matter how many votes are received in this first round, in order to get someone nominated, but why take chances? However, if both Jane and Natasha are on the final ballot (which is quite possible), I do wonder if we are going to have to make a collective decision to support one or the other. From what I recall, we're a pretty small group relative to the total numbers of votes cast in these things. We may need a Richard Hatch-like alliance to push our favorites to the top.

On another note, I also cast a vote for Scribbler, as I know how sentimental he gets about the jpeg awards.

They are all deserving. We still have a couple weeks until it counts for real.

I just read the new rules and voting process, and this caught my eye:

Votes can cast a vote each day during the second stage, just not for a person or company they voted for a prior day.

Given all the typos on the site, I'm not sure what this rule means. Does this mean we can only vote once for a specific person or company during the entire second stage? Or does it mean we cannot vote for the same person or company we voted for on the previous day? I sent an inquiry to John.

At any rate, I guess that rule solves my problem of whether to vote solely for Jane or Natasha in the second stage.

A Canadian: Also looking forward to your review of "Slave Town 2." I assume it has already lost some big points because of Maria's tattoos.

I'm not sure if this might be of interest to most members here, but I just recently saw another mainstream rape themed movie. It was called The Limbo Room and I saw it on the Sundance Channel.

The plot concerns a middle-aged actress' life as an understudy in an off-Broadway play.

The actress who gets top billing in the movie is Oscar nominee Melissa Leo but the main role actually belongs to an even more unknown actress named Andrea Powell, an attractive blonde who was pushing 40 when the film was made.

Leo plays the star of the play in the movie who is a whacked out diva. In the movie play, she gets raped. The actor who plays her rapist gets ill so that actor's understudy takes over the role and Leo is enamored by him to the point that she enjoys doing the play's rape scenes night after night with him and eventually makes him her boy toy. Later on, Leo's character thinks the actor is becoming more intense in the rape scenes to get back at her in her divaishness so Leo quits in mid performance. Powell takes on the role for that one night.

Meantime, while Powell is waiting endlessly for her break to come, she breaks up with her fiance and becomes the girlfriend of the rapist/actor who happens to be almost half her age. One night while playing around, he acts out the play's rape scene with her. Powell thinks he's just kidding around. Instead he rapes her for real. There's a cutaway from the actual act, but when it's over, you see the dismay and realization in her face that she's been sexually assaulted. And that's how the movie ends. For once the rapist wins.

Yay!

As sexploitation, the movie could just as easily be shown on the Lifetime channel. However, they do repeat Leo's "rape" in the play. And if you just want to enjoy a good small independent film, this is worth a look.

In addition Andrea Powell is easy on the eyes. Here's another pic of her to see what I mean. She's 44 years old so it's unlikely she'll have much of a movie career at this point, but she is somebody with a good face, body and talent.

My grade: B as a movie, D as sexploitation.

BTW, anyone know if xhamster is down or out? I haven't been able to get there for the past two days. Elite Pain is now showing that the site will be returning for those who did not find it excessive.

Technical note: The DVD I got may have been a poor transfer, or maybe it’s just my primitive technology, but the screen image was very dark, and there are a lot of night scenes. If you’ve got any means for brightening up the picture, I recommend you use them when you watch this.

Ginger (1971)

From the outset, we know she’s hot and she’s bad. As the credits roll, Ginger (Cheri Caffaro) cruises along in her gold, open-top ‘Vette, parks the car and emerges wearing a micro-mini-skirt and go-go boots. She enters a building and wiggles down the hallway to the office of a well-heeled private detective agency to hear an intriguing proposition. They offer her 50 grand to infiltrate a drug/prostitution/extortion ring and collect the evidence that’ll put them away for good.

The bad guys include a spoiled rich young man who thinks crime is an antidote to boredom, Rodney (gay porn star Casey Donovan aka Calvin Culver); African-American Jimmy and an associate, DJ, who handle the drug deals; and a squad of reasonably attractive babes who provide other “personal services”. They are led, unconvincingly, by weird Rex Halsey (Duane Tucker), who…well, more about him later.

Ginger insinuates herself into the gang by first seducing Rodney in a bar with a provocative dance, part of which involves slowly grinding her butt into his crotch. Next day Ginger is in a skimpy bikini, soaking up sun on the beach (in an apparent attempt to rid herself of those prominent tan lines) when she is confronted by Halsey’s girlfriend and three other female gang members (also in bikinis). Ginger easily bests the girlfriend in a catfight, pinning her face-down in the sand. Ginger strips off the loser’s bikini-top, using it to tie her hands behind her back, then pulls the bottom portion off to tie her feet together. Viola!

This feat establishes Ginger’s image as a bad ass, but arouses suspicions. However it pleases one of the girls, Kathy, because she secretly despises her hooker life and wants to escape. Ginger cheers her up and gains her trust in a carpet-munching scene (Kathy is nekkid, Ginger isn’t).

Kathy sets up a nocturnal seaside rendezvous to deliver information to Ginger. But Kathy ends up dead on the beach with a plastic bag over her head. Ginger encounters DJ nearby, beats the snot out of him and then chokes him with her super-wide metal-studded belt.

Meanwhile, Ginger’s detective boss goes undercover as a “customer” and meets up with one of Halsey’s girls in a hotel room. He asks her why such a beautiful babe would do work like this, to which she responds, “I like it, and it’s what I’m best at.” When she’s stretched out on the bed, surprise! He’s got handcuffs hidden under the mattress. (This is a great technique for GIMPers). She agrees to cooperate with the authorities and asks him to remove the cuffs and take his money back. But he screws her anyway while she’s still cuffed. Hey, he says, “there’s enough of your body free to do the job.”

Jimmy has been itching to get some “sweet white ass” from one of his junkie clients, Allison. He arranges to meet her in a dilapidated building where she arrives, desperate for a fix. Jimmy wants more than her money – he commands her to strip and lie on the “cold hard floor.” “Spread those legs, white girl – wider!” Payback by rape ensues. Ginger has promised sexually-frustrated Rodney that the following night he’ll “get everything”. By that she meant tying him to a bed with his Johnson hanging out, stripping herself and inducing him to a hard-on, then threatening to slice off his manhood with piano wire if he doesn’t give her info about Halsey’s operation. After initial hesitation, he sings like a canary, but then makes the mistake of calling her a bitch. Ginger flashes back to a guy who dumped her, so she severs Rodney’s genitalia just for spite. Yikes!

Ginger phones Jimmy, inviting him to meet her for some more “sweet white ass”. When he arrives, she confronts him with a gun, calls him “black boy” and even slings the n-word at him. She strips, massages her tits, and puts her gun on a nearby dresser, challenging him to get to the gun before she does if he wants her goodies. Jimmy loses the contest.

Inevitably, Ginger heads for chez Halsey. When she enters, he incapacitates her with several punches to the belly, strips her, lays her on the bed and ties her wrists behind her back (but not her feet). She cops a defiant attitude, but he brandishes a gun.

A controversial, oft-discussed “rape” scene follows. On one hand, Ginger looks terrific in a very lengthy scene as Halsey gropes and finally humps her. But Ginger should be feeling nothing but revulsion toward this loser, yet she shows signs of being turned on. That detracts from the effectiveness of the scene.

In any case Halsey finishes up, hogties Ginger and shoots her up with heroin. He then walks out the door and meets his fate (offscreen – wish they had shown that).

No one in Ginger has any redemptive values (except maybe Kathy, who makes an early exit). Even Ginger is motivated more by vengeance and past emotional trauma than respect for the law. She seduces, kills and maims without an ounce of remorse. So cumulatively the movie itself is morally ungrounded. Not that this is bad. In fact, its pervasive meanness and “political incorrectness” help make the movie watchable. Some more sample dialog, after Ginger lops off Rodney’s cachungas:

Halsey: “What did you find out about Rodney?”

Liz: “He’s in the hospital. He was castrated”.

Halsey: “When do they think he’ll be out?”

Liz: “Rex, what the hell difference does it make? He had his balls cut off. He’s better off dead.”

Movie minuses: There’s the usual poor acting/editing/directing. Action scenes are perfunctorily staged. When the dialog isn’t lurid, it’s corny or melodramatic. The pacing is often slow. The male-torture scene, while not graphic, is still cringe-worthy. The racial slurs (on both sides) are awkward.

But the movie’s biggest problem is Duane Tucker. His “portrayal” of head villain Rex Halsey is completely inept. He tries to come across as psychopathic and sinister, but succeeds only in being kinda fey. We never for a second believe that he could actually overpower Ginger, or that even with her hands cuffed behind her, she couldn’t mop up the floor with him. By the time Ginger has choked, shot and emasculated the other gang members, there isn’t a true menacing threat left. And a GIMP flick without menace is a LIMP flick. Really, he’s got to be one of the worst villains in movie history.

Fortunately, the final act of the film is salvaged by Caffaro’s willingness to show herself getting naked, cuffed, “raped” and hogtied. That’s what it takes to distract us from Tucker.

Despite its flaws, Ginger does deliver bondage, sex, rape and amorality. Basically, it’s a warm-up to the sequels, allowing its audience to wade into the sleaziness that the rest of the series wallows in. Hey, there’s a first time for everything, and this one could’ve been worse.

It’s difficult to grade this inaugural effort, because it suffers by comparison to The Abductors and Girls Are for Loving. But it does have some stuff that GIMPers like, and there’s nastiness to boot (although most of it is supplied by Ginger). I give it a C+.

Vince: Thanks for the info on "The Limbo Room," a movie I had never heard of. Andrea Powell looks great for her age. It's too bad she wasn't tied up for the raping.

I do have to say I would go much higher than a C+ grade for this movie. My grade would likely be an A-. One of the fundamental differences for me is that I love Ginger's rape scene near the end. Yes, I know it's not believable, but it is very erotic, and I think Ginger's helplessness is credible, which helps sell the scene. And that Cheri Caffaro was hot.

The other difference for me is I wasn't put off by Duane Tucker's performance as the lead villain. Yes, I agree he was a terrible actor, and perhaps a bit too metrosexual for that role. Still, somehow, I found he was so bad he was good. I get quite a kick watching him try to deliver his lines, and when it came to the stuff that mattered -- belly-punching Ginger, then raping her, he got the job done.

YikYakker: Great review of a true GIMP classic, Ginger. I gotta agree with Canadian on a couple of points, the first being that your review perfectly captured the spirit of the movie, including the often rib-tickling dialogue, which is hard for me to watch without a big smile. Yeah, it's over the top and cheesy as hell, but that's part of why this movie is so entertaining.

Here's my favorite line of dialogue, as Allison is desperately trying to get a fix from her drug dealer:

Allison: "I'll beg for it, Jimmy."

Jimmy: You'll SCREW for it, you WHITE BITCH!"

The other point I agree with Canadian on...a C+? Aw, come on! Any movie with this much GIMPage, make that naked GIMPage, deserves a much higher grade than that. My goodness, when I first saw the movie in my early 20s, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. All that nude bondage, 3 implied rape scenes (and I definitely would consider Cheri Caffaro's scene a rape, even if she doesn't exactly protest toward the end) and my favorite, when he's got her hogtied, tape-gagged and naked afterward. Did you know that was the first nude hogtie in mainstream movie history?

BTW, you mentioned that your DVD appeared to be a poor transfer. From what I understand, the 3 Ginger DVD releases are merely taken from the VHS copy, which is a shame because while these may be just 3 cheesy action films from the early 1970s, they are beloved by bondage lovers throughout the world. These films deserve a better showcase, maybe restoring them from the master prints like what they did with The Candy Snatchers a few years back. That film looked great, and I'd love to see the same thing done with this trilogy.

This is actually my favorite type of setting and scenario but it's just so rare that I've just come to expect it won't happen in pretty much everything I watch.

C+ is a pretty low grade...in Pharmacy School! But this is a fantasy forum guys, try to take it easy. In movie criticism, a C+ would be the equivalent of 2-1/2 stars out of 4, or perhaps 3 stars out of 5, or 7-1/2 out of 10.

Ralphus: …a C+? Aw, come on! Any movie with this much GIMPage, make that naked GIMPage, deserves a much higher grade than that.

See if you all can guess which movie I reviewed when I wrote this:

She spends 95% of her screen time naked, or in bondage, or both – just the way it ought to be. Her reactions are good, she keeps it real and she’s the main reason to watch. There are lots of other gratuitous nudity scenes throughout.

That’s right, it was Devil Hunter, and my grade was C+. (I caught hell from Jess Franco for that last week – just kidding).

Now I know that there’s a lot of sentimental value attached to Ginger. Until few months ago, I had neither seen nor heard of Devil Hunter. Should I give Cheri Caffaro’s movie a better grade than Ursula Fellner’s because Ginger is the more well-known of the two? Sorry, not my style.

Not to beat a dead horse, but there really is no consistent standard for grading movies. Nor do I think there should be. But when I consult the many fine reviews in our database, I find that our reviewers are all over the place. For example, one review that I just read this evening gave a movie a B for...2 GIMP scenes. Must’ve really liked those two scenes. On the other hand, Blitzkrieg (grade: D) had several GIMP scenes...but they were mostly unwatchable.

I like to pay more attention to what the writer is saying about the movie, what he (or she) liked, disliked, what worked/did not work about the GIMP scenes, etc. It’s tempting to just drop your gaze to the bottom of the page and check out the big red letter (especially when the review is lengthy and detailed...I won’t mention any names). But a lot of work goes into a review, and increasingly, a lot of elements like pics and clips that require collaboration among GIMPers. If you only check out the grade, you miss a lot.

Ralphus: Did you know that [Cheri Caffaro in Ginger] was the first nude hogtie in mainstream movie history?

Yeah, actually I did, because I posted that fact here a number of weeks ago. But as long as I’m boring everybody, let me come completely out of the closet: Hogties really don’t thrill me. In most set-ups, they obscure the goodies I really want to see. In the rape scene, Caffaro’s body is on display the way I like to see it. I thought she looked better in that scene than in any other she did in the movie. Lots of folks here liked the hogtie as the “climax” of the scene; and I respect that. But honestly, for me it was more like the denouement.

But I once saw a clip of a hogtie that was really cool IMO. The guy had a naked girl sprawled across his lap (as if in a spanking position). He gagged her, pulled her hands and feet upward and toward one another, and finished off the hogtie. Then, he turned her over on his lap so that she was facing upwards, toward the camera, and he started playing with the front of her body. Squeezing her breasts, fiddling with her nipples, rubbing his hand on her pussy and inserting his fingers. Not that she liked it (or at least, she acted like she didn’t - pretty uncomfortable position). But he was having a good time, and so was I. Sorry, I don’t know what it was from, probably a clip from a bondage film.

It is true that the grading standards aren't consistent. If we really wanted to make some adjustments, I suppose we could provide a series of grades for each movie, based on some select criteria -- attractiveness of the actresses, credibility of the GIMP scenes, etc. -- but that would be too much work. And as YikYakker said, the details of the review are as important as the grade, as we have many different tastes on this forum.

I'm not necessarily bothered that a movie with only two GIMP scenes got a B grade. To me, I put a lot of emphasis on quality, perhaps over quantity. Show me a film with an outstanding moment or two and I'll give it a good grade, even if the rest of the movie falls flat. Others, meanwhile, take a different approach. I know Ralphus prefers to judge the overall movie -- I remember him making that point after I posted my review of Riko Tachibana Special a few years back.

And while we're on the topic, I have to admit I sometimes struggle to decide what grade to assign a film (I guess I would have been a lousy teacher). In fact, I still haven't decided for certain what grade to give in my review of Slave Town 2, which I plan to post this weekend.

I would be interested to hear from other reviewers. Am I the only one who sometimes struggles to come up with a grade, or do others have the same challenge?

Yik Yakker: Your review was top notch. And if some of us would have graded it higher, that's great too. It helps keep the dialogue alive. Like Ralphus, when I saw that last scene in the theater in the 70's, I almost embarrassed myself.

You can use this:

An actress (Andrea Powell) is flirting with a male actor. Powell's character at first doesn't feel threatened because her actor boyfriend is recreating his actions in the play. It's when he doesn't take no for an answer that she realizes he's not acting, he's serious about raping her. It starts out as flirtation. They wind up on her apartment floor. She tells him in a smiling lighthearted way to stop, thinking he's just doing affectionate foreplay. It looks like a recreation of the rape scene in the play. Her telling him to stop changes in tone from playful to dread, especially when she sees him unbuckle his belt. He tries to pull off her pantsuit. There's a minor glimpse of leg. He overpowers her as she struggles and then it's a fade to black kind of thing. Next scene they close in on her face which displays the shock that she's been raped. The end.

Maybe in the sequel, "Limbo Room 2: The Revenge of Ann", we'll see more of Powell in the flesh.

It's too bad that those who want to see the movie, but don't have Sundance, can't see it on DVD. However, I think it will be released at some point since Powell's top- billed co-star in the movie, Melissa Leo's career seems to be moving up since her Oscar nomination a year ago for "Frozen River."

Lots of catch up to do - spent the better part of a week sitting bedside next to the wife in ICU - seems she thought she could achieve saint status by driving the snakes out of the area - she was uniformly unsuccessful and got bite by a diamond back rattler - am now referring to her as Mrs. Pliskin.

Eda - your post concerning "Dumbest Director" for "Pit and Pendulum" was spot on - was that lady wasted in that flick - if you recall the rather unattractive middle aged woman who is strangled before being burnt is the wife of director Roger Corman - that scene should have been reserved for Rona - along with a number of others of course - too bad she bailed from the business after that.

YikYakker - thanks for finally getting a "Ginger" review on record - probably would have given it a slightly higher grade but not too terribly much - always thought the pecking order in the Ginger trilogy would be "Abductors", "Ginger" and last "Girls Are for Loving" which places "Ginger" at a B.

A Canadian - yeah, I'm surprised if all movie reviewers don't struggle with assigning a letter grade - an objective rating to something so subjective - but I guess that's what makes this fun.

Various factors come into play when giving a grade; attractiveness of the victim, believability of her acting, length of scene, nudity, tightness or type of bonds, cumulative for number of segments or overall length of numerous segments, etc. Ultimately it comes down to overall reaction to the scene.

Couple of examples; Rona Mitra in Doomsday. Normally a scene with no nudity dosen't get a “B” grade, but this one's visual appeal boosted it into the B's. The norm for a non-nudity scene would be a “C” or “D” as in Drive Thru (although Ralphus would have graded this one higher due to his personal tastes).

Then there's a full nude scene in an upcoming review (maybe in a couple of weeks) where because of the length only gets a “C” range.

So in a nutshell there are certain criteria I use to grade but ultimately it comes down to my personal reaction to what I see.

I know what you’re thinking. One of the covers seems pretty obvious right? But then again, so many DVD covers end up just being teasers. Just last week we had such a cover that didn’t have any Gimp. Romasanta? Romasanta is based on what the filmmakers claim to be the first ever recorded serial killer. Sounds good for possible Gimpage so far right? Well, upon his capture what he chose to be his defense was……that he was innocent due to his being a werewolf. Bet you want to change your guess now huh? Too late! Wrong answer!

An OK flick that plays up the werewolf angle rather than Romasanta just being whack. Is also aided by co-star Elsa Pataky (Giallo).

Albert Fish? No Gimpage again as this tale of serial killer Albert Fish is strictly a documentary. Not a bad movie, but then again I’ve always liked documentaries and narratives in general.

Albert Fish was an equal opportunity serial killer and cannibal, killing and eating boys as well as girls. The movie spends a great deal of the time on a certain victim named Grace Budd. Upon first meeting with the family (under the guise of being a painter) she was allowed to go with Fish to his (fictional) granddaughter’s birthday party. Mainly because his appearance was one of the nice old grandfatherly type, someone who appeared to be totally harmless. Instead he takes her to an abandoned house where he strips her, strangles her, and cuts her up for food. Years later he sends a letter to the family, detailing what he did to her, which is how he ultimately got caught. He pleads insanity but is found guilty and sent to the electric chair.

Mini mainstream movie review of The Hillside Strangler.

The Hillside Strangler

The Hillside Strangler is the true life story of cousins Kenneth Bianchi (C. Thomas Howell) and Angelo Buono, but centers mainly on Bianchi (hence, the title being singular instead of “Stranglers”).

After failing at nearly everything Kenneth Bianchi attempts, his mother suggest a change of scenery for a possible change of luck. He ends up staying at his cousins Angelo Buono’s in L.A. for a time as the two hang out together and scheme for ways to make money. The two cousins decide to go into the escort business where Bianchi lays a con on a vacationing girl, telling her he’s a talent scout for a modeling agency. She falls for it and soon becomes ensnared under the threat of violence if she attempts to leave. The escort business expands as they bring in a second girl and obtain a client list from a competing escort service supplied by a hooker. The competing pimps catch wind of this and go after the cousins, breaking in to their house and robbing them of guns and money. Enraged and wanting revenge the two cousins, rather than go after the pimps, focus their anger on the hooker who sold them the client list. They pick her up and end up strangling her in the backseat of their car. This first kill starts the whole ball rolling as the two cousins now start their troll for victims.

Gimp wise there are quite a few segments of interest. The first is a fairly long segment as the cousins pick up a hooker under the guise of being Vice-Squad. She is handcuffed and taken back to Buono house. There she has wadding stuffed in her mouth and tape-gagged & blindfolded. She is later brought into the living room after an implied double rape where she gets suffocated with a plastic bag.

Next up is a nurse who gets stopped, this time under the guise that her car matched the description of a robbery suspect. She is cuffed and ends up spread on a bed back at Buono’s place. She is only shown from the waist up in a nice topless segment.

Up next are a few short snippets as recollections of another victim are recalled. She is nude, tape gagged & blindfolded, and tortured with injections into her neck, followed by a death by gassing segment as a plastic bag is held over her head with a gas line running into it.

There is also another hooker who gets handcuffed and taken into an apartment. The segment then fast-forwards to her dumped body after the cousins are nearly discovered.

The finale Gimp segment has a waitress who comes over to Buono’s house. She’s a little flirtatious as she dances with Buono. Bianchi shows up a little later and Buono tells her to dance with his cousin as he’s a “Disco Machine”. Buono comes back and whips a cord around her throat, dragging her into the house. This finishes the Gimpage as she is shown in a brief hog-tie snippet.

As entertainment OK I guess. Not bad… not good. Grade C

As Gimp, some very good segments, some with full nudity and perilous situations. Overall a B+

I do like feedback and other people's thoughts on films I've reviewed. The differences in opinion can really liven up this place. (I recently watched a couple of movies that were recently reviewed here and will share my thoughts later.)

A Canadian asked: Am I the only one who sometimes struggles to come up with a grade, or do others have the same challenge?

Definitely. For me, the tough part is balancing my personal preferences with those of other GIMPers who post here. For example, being the total gag snob that I am, I would be inclined to give a movie a very low grade if it lacked gags. But doing so might not be doing the film justice and it could end up misleading other GIMPers. LTL gave a good example with Rona Mitra in "Doomsday." In general, that was a good AOH scene with a hot and believable actress. I'd put it in the B category as a reviewer. But it probably wouldn't make my compilation disc, not because she wasn't naked, but simply because she wasn't gagged.

I try to give really low grades for GIMP scenes for the following reasons that I think we can all agree on:

1. Lame bondage or gags from which the victim can easily escape, including hands tied in front.

2. Implausibility, such as a woman simply talking her way out of a predicament because of the villain's stupidity.

3. Unattractive victim, including huge tattoos and way too much body piercing.

4. Male victims included in the scenes who distract attention away from the damsel.

5. Consent, especially the "Fuck me harder" dialogue.

Given the wide diversity of preferences here, I really don't take too much stock in the grades. I look at the descriptions of the scenes to decide whether the movie is worth watching from my point of view.

Perhaps I am more generous with Ginger than I would otherwise be because I see it as a set-up piece for Abductors. Kind of: Ginger is to Abductors as Godfather is to Godfather II.

I haven't seen it, but there's a film called Rampage that also tells the story of the Bianchi/Buono murders. Don't know if there's anything GIMP-worthy in that one.

As far as grading movies, I like the letter grade system, but I agree it certainly doesn't encompass all aspects of a film's particular merits, or lack thereof. There may be people who disagree with the way I do it, but I tend to assign a letter grade to a movie based on the overall package, rather than individual scenes. By that criteria, it's easier to review and grade a bondage film rather than a mainstream one. When you get down to it, a bondage film is designed for one thing...to turn you on. How successful it was is illustrated by how high a grade it gets.

A mainstream film, though, has a story to tell, and while it may have certain elements that appeal to us, that's usually not its entire intent. A film like The Girl Next Door, for instance (which I gave an A-), succeeded for me as a shattering film experience, but not necessarily as erotica, since it deliberately toned down that aspect of the story so as not to appear exploitive. If I were rating it simply by how much it turned me on, I doubt I would grade it nearly as high. So in a way, I don't really object to reviewers giving a movie 2 grades, one on the overall entertainment value and the other as GIMP-worthy material.

When you get down to it, though, letter grades, like the reviews themselves, are merely opinions. We can agree or disagree with them, which makes for fun reading, anyway. It's kinda like when Siskel and Ebert would have a disagreement over a particular movie. That's usually when the show would be the most entertaining. This forum is all about readers expressing their opinions, so feel free to chime in if you've got something to say. Don't hold back. We have too many lurkers already.

Yik Yakker, I agree about hog-ties. As long as the victim is on her stomach (which is almost always), she's hiding the goodies. A "sideways" hog-tie is much more fun.

LTL - got another one correct as I have seen "The Hillside Strangler" - thought the plastic bag suffocation of the aptly named Brandin Rackley was a nicely done sequence - my disappointment came when the hogtie scene with Aimee Brooks was not carried to the logical conclusion - come on folks, let us see what happens - now a question - after Bianchi leaves for Washington he kills two more at that house sitting gig - I know there was no nudity but as a sucker for a good carry scene I thought him toting that handcuffed blonde into the bedroom and having her view her friends body was a nice if short sequence - just thought I'd mention that scene as well.

Ralphus - have seen "Rampage" - thought it a gigantic waste of time - only one low value Gimp scene - one of those dreaded "a look into the mind of a serial killer" things.....blah blah blah.

Over at Asian Cult I ran into this item the other day, "I'll Never Die Alone" - appears we get some bondage and what is described as a lengthy multiple rape scene - I don't know whether to pull the trigger on this one or not.

Yeah, I go along with every one of them. Here are a few more things that I don't like, but often see:

~ Poor acting and line delivery that take all the tension and emotion out of a scene (probably the main reason why I'm such a stingy grader). I don't care what they do with the rest of the movie, please don't butcher the GIMP scenes!

~ excessive blood or facial injuries, especially before the torment starts. I hate when they take a girl who's barely clinging to life and try to torture her, that's way over the top.

~ slasher/horror flicks that are too quick to go for the kill or the gore. Slow torment is best.

MasterDetective: I second Jane's view of "Imprint." From what I recall, the torture scene is lengthy, and the damage is done by a particularly nasty woman. It's not for the queasy, and it's definitely something I could see PD getting into.

That’s something I’m really surprised we don’t see more of….and would love to see more of! (hint, hint ;-) I mean even Hollywood actors sometimes end up hanging by just one leg (ensnared by some spring-trap by a tree). Unfortunately these are usually guys….and some quite out of shape guys at that. But it’s done because the ankle is a pretty strong joint.

I remember reading someplace that Lisa Kinkaid (ZFX) preferred to be hung upside-down. She mentioned it was much more comfortable than being hung by her wrists. One ankle is not going to be that much more uncomfortable than both.

To begin with, thanks for posting. It does seem more people are de-lurking these days, and that can only be good news for the long-term health of the forum (with or without a jpeg award).

I've never seen the Women of the Slave Market series and I don't know where you find those films legally.

I do know where to find them illegally, but I'm not sure if I should say any more. To my way of thinking, if what we call "legal" copies aren't available (although most Japanese porn available in North America, through whatever source, are actually pirated), then it should be OK to cite other sources, since we're not burning any of our friends. But our hard-nosed moderator may feel differently.

Suffice to say, the movies can be found, if you are determined to see them.

...and I also recalled seeing the second in the series myself a few years ago. Suffered from the usual symptoms. Bad movie, but with a few spectacular and very erotic scenes.

Slave Town 2 is an effective movie with a fairly straight-forward premise. Two attractive young women are abducted by villains and forced to become sex slaves, where each woman must perform sex acts in front of a group of businessmen, who place bids in an auction to buy the slaves. Porn superstar Maria Ozawa plays the "experienced" slave while Serina Hayakawa is the newly captured novice.

The emphasis is on fucking and sucking, and on verbal humiliation. There's no torture of any kind, and nothing really in the way of bondage, other than some scenes where the ladies' hands are cuffed in front of them as they are being violated.

What makes this Japanese porn film work is the dialogue -- much of it is in English. Many of the villains speak English, Serina Hayakawa delivers some key lines in English, and Maria Ozawa delivers all of her lines in English -- and her English is quite good. This is particularly effective during some moments where lovely Maria looks believably broken and ashamed as she is being debased and humiliated.

Also noteworthy is Maria's exceptional beauty. Yes, it's a shame about her recently acquired tattoos -- a tattoo on her left arm, a big tattoo of a tiger on the right side of her body, and a new one (sheesh), a big flower next to the tiger. Still, she has a fine body and a remarkably gorgeous face, particularly her big, beautiful brown eyes. Furthermore, Maria actually does some fine acting in this film (long-time fans know that hasn't always been her strength).

Describing each one of the scenes of penetrations and blow jobs would get tiresome (we all know what fucking and sucking look like) so this review will focus on the highlights.

Each lady is the victim of a nighttime abduction in the woman's bedroom by guys who use a chloroform rag to knock the woman out (Maria's abduction is seen in a flashback). Each victim awakens in a slave operation run by an evil woman (Mirei) who sells the slaves to wealthy businessmen. At one point, the slaves are held captive in a jail cell, naked, with their wrists cuffed in front of them, and must dance to appease the men outside the cell who are checking them out.

According to the back story told by Maria, each slave is sold to a wealthy businessman for at least a year, and is then sold again to another rich dude. Maria has already been a slave for two years, where she was apparently raped daily and regularly beaten (the beatings are only told in a narrative, and are not depicted).

The best moments in the movie are the scenes with Maria, who looks remarkably cute wearing her dog collar with a big dog tag.

Maria is repeatedly seen in the center of a lounge area, being screwed or forced to suck a guy, or sometimes both. She is often surrounded by various businessmen wearing white masks who are sitting in comfy chairs and sofas, drinking beer and bidding to buy her. Indeed, the movie opens with such a scenario, with naked Maria -- who is on all fours, with her wrists cuffed together in front -- getting banged doggie style by a naked guy while five fully dressed businessmen sit watching the action and placing bids. After the banging, Maria is forced to kneel in front of a fully dressed businessman she used work with, in order to blow him.

As the standing villain takes out his cock, Maria looks up at his face and says, "you deceived me," but the fiend just smiles. A guy kneeling behind Maria grabs Maria's hair and pushes her face forward to force Maria to blow the businessman. After the businessman cums in Maria's mouth, Maria spits out the cum and the villains up the ante on their bids to buy her, as Maria quietly pleads, "Please... please just stop."

Maria returns to the same lounge area for three more scenes of banging and blowing. In the best of the bunch, the scene begins with the villainess, Mirei, walking Maria around the lounge area on all fours by a leash, like a dog. Maria is then forced to kneel in front of the naked guy who was tapping her in the opening scene, with Maria's wrists cuffed in front of her, and she must blow the guy and then hump in positions like missionary and cowgirl (in this outing, there is no audience watching). While Maria is riding the guy in a reverse cowgirl position, a second guy in business attire shows up, takes out his wiener, and forces Maria to blow him. The sharp-dressed man getting blown dishes out some harsh instructions to Maria, such as "suck me, bitch," and he forces the beauty to deep throat him.

At one point, the guy takes his dick out of Maria's mouth and grabs Maria by the hair, forcing her to repeat such naughty lines as "I'm nasty" and "I'm a dirty girl" while she continues to get pumped in the reverse cowgirl position. The businessman forces Maria to deep throat him again, finishing by cumming in her mouth. The guy nailing Maria then finishes up by dinking her in the missionary position, and cumming in her pussy. The guy then stands up and Maria, kneeling in front, sucks him off a bit more.

Capping the scene off, the business guy grabs Maria's hair, shakes her head and forces her to repeat the line, "Today, I became a real sex slave." The guy then pushes Maria's head aside, and there's a final closeup of Maria with her pretty head bowed, looking completely broken.

Maria's final scene also has some nice moments. Once again, she is in the lounge, getting porked doggie style while an audience of beer-swilling businessmen bid on her. Beautiful Maria once again looks fully degraded as her sexy, slender body is fucked in the center of the room, and the rich guys joke about the fact she has been "raped every day for two years." The auction ends with the winning guy paying $40,500 to buy Maria. A leash is put on Maria, and she is walked away to a new owner as one of her former colleagues jokes that he'll never see her again.

As for Serina Hayakawa, she is also attractive, although her breasts are clearly man-made. Most of her sex scenes take place inside a jail cell, where the naked cutie is on a bed, and is forced to blow and screw one guy after another, while a few others watch. Serina has some decent moments, including one scene where she is forced to deep throat a guy, but her scenes aren't as strong as Maria's and after a while they seem repetitive.

My grade: A-

For those who like "slave" movies, this one is better than expected, due to the surprisingly strong performance by Maria Ozawa. Ideally, it would have been better if it had been rougher and there had been some scenes of the women resisting (and if Maria didn't have those damn tattoos). Still, the story works and is particularly compelling because of the excellent moments where Maria is humiliated in English. Slave Town 2 is strongly recommended.

Any ideas for purchasing ZFX or the old H-O-M classics in Europe? Amsterdam is not what is was & Prague was a complete washout for B & D material. With respect, please don't recommend online distributors as mail-order is not an option, regretably.

I read a review of it in my callow youth in a blue movie review rag. It involves 4 female student schoolteachers that stray south of the border during their summer vacation & fall into the hands of The Marauders - a gang of old-west style banditos. But as I was reading your extremely well-written and entertaining review and checking out the descriptions, I imagined myself watching the same movie. And I couldn't figure out, for the life of me, what you found so entertaining about the goings-on. I know, we're usually complete opposites in our tastes. You're a rape guy, I'm a torture guy. But still, these are bondage movies, are they not? Hands in front, which is the entire extent of the bondage action, is not real bondage in my mind. It's symbolic bondage. It doesn't prevent you from doing anything you don't want to do. So when you're kneeling with your hands tied in front of a guy sucking his cock, it's not really forced, is it?

Then let's talk about the "forced sex" action. Doesn't sound like there's any, if I read this right. None of the girls are held down during the acts, right? Then you have Maria riding the guy in a cowgirl position. I've heard you complain, as have others, that the cowgirl position is strictly a voluntary action on the girl's part. No one is forcing you to hump up and down on the guy's cock; you're doing it yourself. The very action itself screams consensual activity.

Then let's go with the looks of the victims. Granted, both girls have attractive faces. Maria Ozawa is downright stunning. And yet, she's also covered with tattoos, which you hate. I believe you said it made her look like a porn star. And Serina Hayakawa has fake tits, which you also hate. I think you'll agree with me that casting a wholesome victim is ultimately the most important aspect of a film like this. And yet, both girls get a pass?

I can understand the novelty of actually having both girls speak in English. After countless Japanese videos, to finally hear language you understand has to be a plus. But still...you gave this movie an A-. An A minus! I may be a grumbly old curmudgeon, but I don't think I gave any bondage film a grade that high in the past year and a half. Based on your description of the action...weak bondage, no gags, no torture and what sounds like consensual sex action...I doubt I would even come close to the same grade. In fact, I would probably have my thumb on the fast-forward button through pretty much the entire video.

You know how when you're really hungry and haven't eaten for a long time, pretty much any kind of food, even wax bean salad, tastes good? But later on, when you're full, you say to yourself, "Yuck, this really isn't that tasty after all. In fact, what the hell, I've been eating wax bean salad!" Maybe you hadn't seen a Japanese bondage film in a while and you were horny. But I think once you come to your senses, you might just realize that what you just consumed may end up leaving a bad taste in your mouth.

Certainly, involuntary sex involving a knife to the throat or a pointed gun is easy enough to understand. But what if the "force" is implied through previous experience, which (and correct me if I've misinterpreted, A Canadian) seems to be the situation with Maria Ozawa's character. Yes, she is free to roam around (that is, not in bondage), but if experience has told her that resistance is futile (and perhaps even life-threatening) then you have what Ralphus referred to as symbolic bondage (which may go by another name but it's hard to come up with one that's better).

This issue arises in some of the flicks that I've viewed (and have considered reviewing here). For example, in Chain Gang Girls, a female prison inmate has two sex scenes with the warden, which appear for all the world as voluntary, habitual and even enjoyable to her. And yet it's likely that at some point in the past she was forced to do this through some violent means - the pervasive brutality of the film suggests this is an ongoing part of prison life. Now that she has been trained to be compliant, she is a "sex slave".

It's hard for anyone to use the written word to convey that in a review (even someone as articulate as A Canadian). It generally comes through in the script or the emotions expressed by the actress.

But my question is: To what extent are such scenes of interest to those who visit and/or post here? I'd like to hear some more thoughts about this issue from anyone who would like to share them.

And while we're on the topic, I have to admit I sometimes struggle to decide what grade to assign a film (I guess I would have been a lousy teacher). In fact, I still haven't decided for certain what grade to give in my review of Slave Town 2, which I plan to post this weekend.

Somehow, at the time, I thought the struggle would be simply about assigning a grade that fairly represents the quality of the film. To be frank, I was teetering somewhere between a B+ and the A- that I ultimately decided upon. I never quite imagined I would open up the can of worms I have apparently unsealed.

Nonetheless, I think YikYakker has hit the nail on the head. It is true that in Slave Town 2, the tortures that have apparently broken Maria's spirit are only described in a back story. In all of Maria's scenes -- and she is the real star of the movie -- she is already somewhat trained by the time we meet her.

Is it plausible? I thought so. As much as I would have preferred to see some scenes showing Maria's spirit being broken (through some good old-fashioned whippings, or whatever), I still felt her scenes looked nonconsensual and I was able to enjoy them. At the same time, I did feel it was important for the review to stress that the movie doesn't show any torture, so the National Public Radio fans like Ralphus would have a true picture of the film's merits.

By the way, the drought in central Canada isn't as dire as Ralphus suggests. I have seen some other recent Attackers releases, such as Attackers ATID-157 and Attackers ATID-158, along with some of the recent New Slave Island and Slave School releases. And even though some of those movies showed more direct scenes of coercion (at gun point) and, in some cases, better bondage, none of them could compare to Maria's movie.

In closing, I would say that if nothing else, I am consistent. After all, a few years ago, I gave an A to Rick's film, Voodoo Dolls 2: Ritual, mostly because I liked Lisa's sex scenes. In that movie, Lisa wasn't really being coerced so much as she was supposed to be under a hypnotic spell. Still, I thought it worked.

I enjoyed reviewing Slave Town 2 and I thank Ralphus and YikYakker for their feedback.

Still, thanks for the well-written review and your explanation for the grade. If anything, it has sparked my interest in the movie.

It's the torture, humiliation and pain of breaking her that turn me on, as well as the victim's futile attempts to fight back and escape. After she's broken and there's no need for bondage, the scenes generally do nothing for me, even with the psychological factor, or the symbolic bondage, in play.

One-legged suspensions: LTL and Jane, have you seen the Al Pacino movie called "88 Minutes"? The ending has a fairly long scene of a damsel (Deborah Kara Unger) dangling by one leg at a dizzying height while another woman (Alicia Witt) is tied to a chair (hands in back) with a rather large gag in her mouth.

Tattoos didn't bother me so much as her ass pimples. Also, her tats weren't clearly visible in her best scenes.

Recently saw another interesting JAV flick in which the plot focused on a farm/ranch of jap girls being kept on a farm like cattle. In this story a female reporter comes to do a story on the place just as the ranch (?) receives a new batch of girls to break in. Good scenes in this one include the new girls being forced to strip one by one. Interestingly, the one with the worst face of the bunch has the best body.

Later the new girls are brought into a shower area and the guy employees forcibly hose them off and scrub them over with a brush which they obviously do not enjoy. At the end of the flick the female reporter is forced to strip, get hosed off herself and blow a couple of the "ranchers."

This is the second in a 2 part series so far and it seems to have legs going so we will see at least a 3rd and maybe a 4th.

An appealing scene is the girls who after being broken plead to the men and make gestures to pull their pants down so they can blow them. They behave almost animal-like or as if they've been injected with some drug giving them diabetes and the only insulin to be found is in the guys malejuice. I'll post a link to the site in a couple of days and y'all can judge for yourselves.

Steve Powers has an interesting flick involving forced stripping (see above link). Steve obviously lives in the cold midwest as all his models always have a pale unhealthy complexion. They also seem to have a look on their face that says they've been out of work for months or they're behind their bills and that's why they're there. I suspect there is no dry run/rehearsal.

The movie "Lipstick" has a great bondage rape scene starting at about the 12 minute mark. The lovely late Margaux Hemingway is tied completely naked, face down, four point spread eagled to a four post bed, and anally ravaged. Very explicit scene, and a GIMP classic. The movie itself isn't bad either, and IMHO a much more satisfying rape/ revenge tale than "I Spit on Your Grave".

...It would seem all that dough you invested in acting lessons for Maria are beginning to pay off - if so, I'll swing for the tat removal.

I did know that, although he is French-Canadian and Maria was actually born in Japan. According to her bio on Wikipedia, it was studying at international schools that have made her strong in English. Certainly, when you listen to her speak in Slave Town 2, you are impressed with her English.

Mini mainstream review of Irreversible

The French made Irreversible is a pretty good movie that I will have a hard to telling you what it’s about without giving the plot away since it is filmed in reverse order. What I can tell you is there is a pretty good rape scene that lasts (guessing what seems like) about 5 minutes or so.

The movie is about a couple played by Vincent Cassel (my favorite French actor. He played the Russian boyfriend in Birthday Girl that Gimpers may recognize) & Monica Belucci whose emotional compass goes from one extreme to the polar opposite during the course of a day. From serenity and bliss to shock and horror (or visa-versa because of how the movie is filmed).

Gimp wise a long, graphic rape scene where Monica Bellucci encounters a pimp beating up on his prostitute. Seeing Monica, his attention shifts and she soon becomes the object of his aggression. She gets pushed to the ground, has her top undone and dress pushed up, and then gets raped anally. She tries to scream but the pimp is overpowering and covers her mouth with his hand. As mentioned, the rape last quite a long time until he climaxes. After he cums inside her, he sits back and rests a bit as Monica attempts to crawl away. He then gives her a severe beating as he kicks her numerous times and drives her head into the pavement. The scene ends but the end result is that Monica is sent into a coma due to the beating.

Entertainment wise I liked this movie quite a bit even though the beginning was extremely tortuous to watch, thinking at the time that this could quite possibly be the worst movie I had ever seen. If you can get past the first 15 minutes or so it really does turn out to be a very good movie IMO. Throw in some nice nude scenes, including a blow job, and it’s not bad. ;-) All I can say is the French know how to dress up their movies! Good for a B-.

Gimp wise, no bondage but does have a first rate rape scene. Grade B-

I thought like, another person wrote, that Marguax Hemingway, despite having a modeling career, had a rather plain face, unspectacular body and a voice that grated on my nerves. If there had been another actress or model in the role for that time,like Jenny Agutter, Lauren Hutton or Dayle Haddon, it wouuld have been more of a guilty pleasure.

I can think of 20 more mainstream rape movies better than "Lipstick".

You may be right. I see that a number of Attackers movies are now available on the English version of the dmm website (dmm sells the Attackers movies in Japan).

I would nominate "Act of Vengeance" with Jo Ann Harris as the best mainstream rape scene I've ever seen. The Act itself is only about a minute, but the beat down and assault that leads up to it ends up to about a five minute scene. And unlike Margaux Hemingway or Camille Keaton, Jo Ann Harris was really hot and petite. To me, a rape scene is much more credible if the rapist is physically imposing and significantly larger then the victim. Margaux Hemingway was a big boned model and her attacker probably didn't out weigh her by more then 50-60 pounds. Jo Ann Harris was about 5'3", 100 pounds and looked truly helpless as she tries to fight against the much larger rapist.

Camille Keaton had the 60's love child thing going and certainly was a credible victim against multiple attackers, but she isn't near as physically striking as Harris. Neither Hemingway or Keaton had as good of a mainstream resume as Harris which included a co-starring role in an Academy Award nominated movie (The Beguiled), stints in a couple of TV series and she's still in TV as one of the voices on the Simpsons.

I linked to the movie on Hulu, it's actually in the opening scene. My other favorite gimp scene is not a rape but the assault on Cassandra Delaney in Fair Game. That movie to me is still one of the best mainstream gimp movies ever done.

At that time wearing those Daisy Dukes, in the film, she was delicious. The actor who played "Jingles Bells" must have felt like the luckiest actor in the world doing scenes with her.

ACV is in my top ten mainstream rape movies. In Harris, you had a perfect sexy victim. And in "Jingle Bells" you had a superb humorous villain. Sort of a combo of Heath Ledger's Joker mixed in with Malcolm McDowell's Alex in "Clockwork Orange" only hornier.

I'd love to see a remake.

Absolutely stunning woman. The fact that a major star of her caliber agreed to be raped onscreen in one of the longest rape scenes in movie history makes the film worthwhile, but you're right, it's a real good movie anyway. One of the more original films I've ever seen, definitely worth checking out. The rape scene is a nice bonus.

You'n me both. I saw both Lipstick and ISOYG when they first came out, but the latter's scene(s) were the ones that stayed with me all these years. That's got to count for something.

I had the chance to revisit the Lipstick scene recently (unfortunately, it was a clip that was dubbed over in German of all things). But what I liked most about it was not the rape and bondage themselves - which I found interesting but unspectacular - but the run-up to the rape: the clothes-ripping, apartment-trashing and resistance put up by the victim. After that, I thought it was kind of a letdown. But maybe the clip I saw was edited and didn't do the scene justice, I don't know.

I would also hold out the Lola Falana-Cameron Mitchell scene in the Klansman as at least one of the top five. Unfortunately, that scene got "lost" in the transfer to DVD, so good luck finding it.

So yesterday I scan the archives looking for some other well done rape scenes in mainstream cinema - gonna throw these two out there as more fodder for the forum - "The House that Vanished" also known as "Scream and Die" where a very foxy Judy Matheson who cut her teeth in numerous Hammer horror films gets a belt wrapped around her throat, the unseen rapist/murderer strips off her nightie, slaps her around, throws her on the bed and has his way with her - a priceless last look on her face as she knows her fate - then strangled offscreen to be found later by her roommate.

Another entry is "Confessions of a Serial Killer" where a trusting Eleese Lester invites the scumbag killers into her home - she is seen being tied face down to the bed and is cleave gagged - they rip the back of her outfit and pull down her shorts - another priceless facial expression when she looks back and sees one guy unzipping and applying lubricant to his Johnson - so he mounts her from behind and begins an anal rape while the other guy cuts her throat - some serious leg spasms ensue as she dies while he enjoys the ride she provides with her flailing - this is one brutal scene - she can be found in several episodes of "Walker, Texas Ranger" - no raving beauty but easy on the eyes.

The Gene Kelly story is on the audio commentary for the most recently released version of A Clockwork Orange on DVD and Blu-Ray. The story goes like this: Three or four years after the movie was released, someone tried to introduce Malcolm McDowell to Gene Kelly at a Hollywood party. But Kelly just turned and walked away. "I think he was disgusted," McDowell says.

It is true that "Singin' in the Rain" was something that was improvised during the filming of the rape scene and is not in the novel. Indeed, it was only during the days shooting that scene -- when it was decided "Singin' in the Rain" would be part of the scene -- that Stanley Kubrick apparently phoned someone in New York and bought the rights to the song. I suspect Gene Kelly knew nothing about it.

Speaking of the novel, I don't think it is necessarily something GIMPers need to read. The rape scene in the novel isn't particularly erotic.

As for another film highlight -- the scene with Billyboy and his droogs -- that is completely off-limits to GIMPers reading the novel, as is obvious when you read this quote: "It was round by the Municipal Power Plant that we came across Billyboy and his five droogs... Billyboy and his droogs stopped what they were doing, which was just getting ready to perform something on a weepy young devotchka they had there, not more than ten..." (emphasis added by me).

Didn't know about the movie, but I like Clint Eastwood movies and am familiar with Jo Ann Harris's hotness from The Beguiled. 5'3” ya say....pocket size, yum!

Maybe not the best rape scene in mainstream (hands tied in front) but possibly the most attractive of all mainstream rape victims IMO.

Another thing I will say in "Lipstick"'s defense, at least it showed some action and skin unlike disappointments like "The Ladies Club".

A long time ago I posted my top 10 mainstream rape films of all time. I had "I Spit on Your Grave as number 1. I had "Jackson County Jail" which came out the same year as "Lipstick" as number 2.

Unlike Hemingway, Yvette Mimieux not only looked great, she could also act. I never stop getting aroused when I see her put up a good, but lost, struggle against her prison guard rapist. It's a damn shame when they remade it, they cast the sexless Ally Sheedy in that role. Ugh. If they remake it again, I'd like Jennifer Aniston or Sandra Bullock for that part instead.

Despite our disagreements with the "Lipstick" fans, I'm glad to see we all seem unanimous over the lovely Jo Ann Harris. I wish she had made more movies. It's over 35 years, but I remember when she guest starred on "The Love Boat" and wore a long slit, sleeveless skirt that would turn a gay man straight.

As to Gene Kelly and hating "Singin' in the Rain" used in "A Clockwork Orange", Ralphus, I'm kind of surprised you didn't know Kelly hated it. His animosity is as well known as the feud between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

I am beginning to agree with you DHT. It seems like Larry is still not answering E-mails. I sent him an E-mail back on April 1st, I E-mailed him to report a problem on the website. It's been about three full weeks and I have recieved no reply, nore has the problem I reported been fixed. Some of you may remember that there used to be a search link in the red collumn along the left side of the screen where all the updates are listed. Well, that search link has been missing for quite a few months now and the only other search link on the site (the one that says "Search All Entire") doesn't even work. Clicking on that link only gets you an "The page cannot be found" error message.

I see no reason to risk placing an order which may never be filled until I complain about it here at this board. I don't need the hassle, and I don't think Ralphus does either. Seriously. I like the victim's (don't remember her name, but its on the rape database) facial expressions, how she goes from combative, to wailing "No more! Please! I am beginning to agree with you DHT. It seems like Larry is still not answering E-mails. I sent him an E-mail back on April 1st, I E-mailed him to report a problem on the website. It's been about three full weeks and I have recieved no reply, nore has the problem I reported been fixed. Some of you may remember that there used to be a search link in the red collumn along the left side of the screen where all the updates are listed.

I ordered some films from Larry in March and the service was good. Larry did respond to my e-mails, and sent me an e-mail alert to let me know the titles I ordered had shipped.

I would like to see the return of the "search" function at some point. DHT makes a valid point -- some of Larry's competitors are definitely putting an emphasis on customer service (at least one even has a "live chat" function to help you with your orders) so it's more important than ever to ensure customer questions are addressed in a timely manner and that the website is user friendly.

I will say that I think Larry's current prices are definitely competitive.

For anyone interested, we released a new title, "The Via Crucis of Jane - Crux 1". It's a rehearsal tape JJ and I did as a study for different effects. The trailer and some promo photos will be up in the forum and on our main page soon. Some of you may have seen the still photos in our Member's Area.

Without further ado, here's my review:

Imprint, Dir. Takashi Miike. Part of the "Masters of Horror" series, created for cable television (yes, television). 63 minutes.

The front cover has a red stripe across the top that says "Banned From Cable Broadcast". Important information.

I'll try to be as brief as possible with the plot because some may want to actually watch the whole movie. What we have here is a fantastical island inhabited by prostitutes, their madams and a midget pimp with a nose half eaten by syphilis. Billy Drago, after a boat-ride in which the boat encounters a naked dead pregnant woman in the river, arrives looking for a certain prostitute, his long-lost love, Kimomo. The midget pimp tells Billy that Kimomo doesn't live on the island. Billy goes with another whore, one with a deformed face, who tells him a "bedtime story" about her life and consequently about the death of Billy's lost love.

Billy Drago tries to show some emotion at several points in the movie. I say try, because he's one of the worst actors in the world. Think Jack Palance, without the camp and inherent "class". Every time Billy opened his mouth, I laughed at him. It's easier to think of him as the comic relief. (Sorry Billy, it had to be said).

The deformed prostitute's story involves lots of images of aborted fetuses, so the more sensitive (such as myself) may want to cover their eyes at these moments. The cue to shut your eyes is whenever someone is holding a bucket. Or has their arm between a woman's legs. If that's your thing, you're gonna love these parts.

The end of said prostitute's story is how Kimomo dies. I'm going to spoil this scene for you in detail. Kimomo is falsely accused of stealing the Madam's jade ring, and strung up AOH. A mean older whore with a grudge against Kimomo walks over and menaces her. First she grabs two sticks of lit incense and burns Kimomo's underarm. Kimomo screams. The mean whore smiles and then flourishes two huge bundles of lit incense, one in either hand. Kimomo knows she's in for it. The mean whore sticks the incense into Kimomo's underarms with relish. Kimomo screams again, only louder and more. There is a nice close-up where we see the incense burning Kimomo's underarm, along with her sparse underarm hair dyed bright red. Apparently that's the fashion in creepy-whore-town.

Then Kimomo appears in a 3/4 hogtie. One leg is held aloft by a rope attached to a wooden pulley. The mean whore sticks long needles with tassels on the ends under the fingernails of Kimomo's right hand. The sound effects at this point are pretty gruesome. Accompanied by the close-up of the needles penetrating the nail bed. Intercut with the obvious relish of the mean whore.

The mean whore flips Kimomo over and sticks more long needles into Kimomo's gums, upper and lower jaw. Same nice sound effects here. That accomplished, they yank on the rope and up goes Kimomo so that she is now suspended by one leg and bristling with needles. Kimomo then pees herself and her urine trickles down over her torso and face as everyone watches in delight.

It should be mentioned that the nudity in this scene is a bit back and forth, now you see breasts, now you don't.

Later on we see Kimomo (naked from the waist up, yeah!) suffering on the floor, still bristling with needles. In one version of the deformed whore's story, she discovers Kimomo hanging by the neck from suicide. In the next version of the story, the whore gives Kimomo water by spitting it into her mouth, and then strangles her with rope. Yep, she's super nice.

I'm not going to go into the deformed whore's "sister". You'll just have to discover that nonsensical part for yourselves.

Grade: B- For bad acting on the part of Billy Drago, good acting on the part of Kimomo, a plot that resembles a fever dream, but a terrific, long, fantastical GIMP scene with burning, needle torture and suspension (really two scenes if you count the strangling), fabulous cinematography and lighting, and great set and costume design that manage to create a surreal world.

Jane - thanks for that info on "Imprint" - sounds terribly nasty and just what one would expect from Miike.

A Canadian - it has been a long, long time since I read "Clockwork" and I may have this confused with something else but in the sequence when Alex picks up the two girls at the record store and takes them back to his place, weren't they adolescents in the book - and wasn't it a rape rather than consensual sex with young women as is shown in the film version - refresh my memory on that if you would.

You're pretty much right, although the "ptistas" aren't young women. According to the novel, they are no more than 10 years old. Alex gets them drunk at his apartment and then pounces on them for what is clearly some violent and apparently nonconsensual sex. After it's over, the girls are saying they should call the cops on Alex.

Jane von Detlefson: Thanks, Jane, for that very fine and detailed review of Imprint. I've been curious about that movie, especially since there is another one by the same name. Now I know what to expect. Gee, hard to figure which aspect got it banned from TV, seems like the whole package kinda pushed a lot of buttons.

Another thought for the ¾ hog-tie hang, if you are still planning to do one, is to do something that might be a little more aesthetically pleasing to the eye in that it would allow for a more natural hang. Instead of connecting the ankle to the wrists, forget the hog-tie and just have the wrists tied behind you, then tie the non-hanging ankle tightly to the thigh of the same leg. Just a thought.

Speaking of A Clockwork Orange, I don't recall much mention being made on this forum about a scene with Gillian Hills (see pic thumbnails about midway down the page). Maybe I just missed them. Any comments?

That scene, which takes place at the derelict casino, is very popular among GIMPers. Back whenever it was that Ralphus had the poll on favorite Clockwork scenes, at least a few of us picked that one over the Adrienne Corri rape scene (although the rape is also quite good).

In fact, I mentioned that scene in my post yesterday. But as I warned yesterday, don't go looking for any thrills from that scene if you're reading the novel. In the novel, the victim is only 10 years old.

One other note: I wonder why that website has the actress listed as Gillian Hills? In the movie, she is credited as Shirley Jaffe.

Probably because we haven't seen that one. I had a friend tell me that he really likes that rape scene, though. The Rape database doesn't say much except that it's a rape/revenge movie similar to I Spit On Your Grave but in an urban setting. Here's the page for it. The caps aren't great, and apparently this film is available on VHS only, which sucks. Yet another 1980s exploitation film that's no longer available for the DVD generation.

How are we supposed to learn about and study film history without availability of certain classic films? My grandchildren won't believe me when I tell them that we used to be able to rent a video, sit down on our couch and watch women getting raped from the comfort of our homes. You can see a lot online today but many of those old films are mere memories to those of us who grew up with them.

Brutus: I read somewhere that Anthony Burgess also hated Kubrick's movie.

I think Kubrick took it as a sign that he was doing something RIGHT if an author hated his film. King hated "The Shining", too. I think Clarke was more bemused than angered or disgusted by "2001", but it didn't warm the cockles of his heart. Stanley Kubrick, pissing off writers for fun and profit!

I know that Hollywood remakes of classic films are generally not very good, but it struck me that we have a rare combination available at this point in time.

In an interesting film from Australia, Acolytes tells the story of three high school teens who blackmail a serial killer.

On a outing in the woods, Mark witnesses someone covering something up with shovelfuls of dirt. He stays out of sight until the person leaves, watching him drive off in an SUV with a unique tire cover that has a large butterfly on it. The next day he tells his two friends James and Chasely and decide to go find out what was buried, convinced it was either money or drugs. With shovels in hand, the three head out to the woods. Their digging unearths not money or drugs, but a female body. Shocked by the discovery, they attempt to anonymously call the police, but Mark gets met with skepticism because of the fact that he sounds young. Re-thinking what to do next, they know they have a fair shot at ID’ing the killer because of his unusual spare tire cover. After a while, they’re able to successfully track him down and end up blackmailing him. But instead of money, they want a certain person killed.

Gimp wise there is a fair scene at the end where Chasely is handcuffed with her hands behind her back and with a chain around the handcuffs, securing her to the wall in the basement. Fairly descent as she is only wearing a T-shirt and has clear tape for a gag.

Entertainment wise: I liked this film quite a bit. Very suspenseful and filled with twists and turns throughout… although there were a few moments when I didn’t totally see how they connected all the dots. I also liked the way the ending pieced all of the main plot points together. Like why the certain individual was targeted for the hit, the conversations, and the tie-in to the opening sequence. Overall I give it a B/B+

Gimp wise: Fairly good visually appealing segment good for a C

As for the rape poll: I have to go with "I Spit On Your Grave" because of the multiple rapes scenes. "Lipstick" was very good, with the bondage rape and all, but the number of rapes in ISOYG goes it the nod.

And I have to disagree with Ralphus about the use of vibrators in bondage scenes. By and large I like them. I like it when the Sub is not allowed to cum until given permission. That may be true. I rented a DVD of Straw Dogs once after it was praised on this site, and couldn't figure what all the fuss was about. Either the rape scene has really been over-hyped or the version I saw must have been seriously edited. It certainly didn't do anything for me.

Thought I'd put my 2 cents in for the side of the fence that doesn't like them. Why? If you take out the mind or emotion, it boils down to either pain or pleasure receptors. So to put it as simply as possible, it wouldn't be in true GIMP form to be concerned with the latter.

Vibrators: I agree with A Canadian's views on the use of vibrators. When used properly, they can be great instruments of humiliation. It's not really about pain. I'm going through 100s of movies at sites such as McDark to find maybe one I want to buy. Went back in the archives and watched a little number the other day - should probably do a full blown review but am simply too damn lazy today - so here's a quick run at it - a 1986 HOM Mondo Bondo Video, "Women in Trouble" starring that luminary of stage and screen, the incomparable Michelle Bauer, during her Kim Bittner period - directed by Geoffrey Merrick - run time of 70 minutes.

The premise has Michelle and her dork male partner running the "KGA" or Kidnapped Girls Agency. So this chick who looks like Roseanne Roseannadana is calling chick porn models for interviews during which she drugs them, keeping them in bondage while forcing them to listen to droning religious tapes telling them the error of the ways. During this time the ladies are subjected to a couple of lashes, some electro-therapy, some tickle torture featuring milady's tootsies for you foot guys. Enter the somewhat inept KGA who manage to get themselves captured, so we can get Michelle in bondage, before escaping and setting the other chicks loose and subjecting Roseanne to bondage and the same "you are doomed" tapes.

So what do you get here. Start to finish bondage with multiple chicks in various stages of undress, lots of skin, lots of high heels and slinky lingerie. What don't you get here. The production suffers from two major flaws. Entirely chick/chick bondage. It also lacks an "edge". The lashings and electro are poorly staged. Therefore, the best scenes are entirely vanilla - chick tied up, chick struggles and mmmppphhhs through her gag, then is tied again in a different position for more of the same. Were it not that I dig Michelle this would be a one-and-done movie.

This most recent attack on our freedoms began when Bush and the Department of Justice went on attack against adult producers by expanding the 2257 regulations, adding incredibly stringent record-keeping requirements designed to put them out of business. Several companies were prosecuted just for trying to do their jobs. Everyone was a target, but particularly companies that produced harder-edged material, so as a result, several of them either closed down shop completely or toned down their content. I know you're a Republican but I'm not saying this to try to pick a fight, I'm saying it because it's true and it actually happened. We're still trying to recover from the past 8 years of Bush's War Against Free Speech.

Now, I don't know much about Japanese laws, nor do I read Japanese where I could learn about current events in that country, but the sudden change in certain violent and forced content in JV films could not be a coincidence. Most likely, the producers were either threatened with prosecution by their government or the laws have either been altered or tightened up to the point where they are intentionally not creating the type of material they used to for fear of breaking the law. I sure would love to hear the inside scoop on what's going on. Canadian, you subscribe to all those Japanese boards, any clues?

However, I'm not convinced the softening of Japanese porn is being enforced by authorities. My guess -- and it's only a guess -- is that the changes are part of an effort by Japanese producers to appeal to an international market.

There's certainly plenty of evidence of Western influence on the Japanese porn flicks. For example, boob jobs are now quite common among Japanese porn stars -- a remarkable change from just a few years ago, when bolt-ons were a rare sight in JAV movies. As well, Attackers has been working English into some of its movies, and the dmm website that sells the Attackers movies now has an English-language version of the site.

It seems likely that Attackers and others are trying to cater to a wider audience -- and, sadly, they may have concluded that most porn watchers don't want to see the extreme stuff.

Someone might want to check out Attackers JBD-145, a new Randa Mai movie that is nonconsensual. If it is fairly rough, then that would suggest that enforcement isn't the problem. It would likely confirm that the changes in many Japanese fetish movies aren't being enforced but are being implemented voluntarily.

And even then, the few obscenity prosecutions of his administration consisted almost entirely of cases involving actual child pornography. Sure, neither party is in favor of underage porn, that's a given. The thing is, the 2257 law, in spite of being honorably named "The Child Protection and Obscenity Enforcement Act of 1988", was not really about protecting children at all. That name was a smokescreen designed to fool the public into believing their intention was far more noble than it really was. There's no child pornography being made today by major producers. And if there were any, the DoJ could have enlisted the producers' help if they came across any underage performers.

Instead, the Bush administration used enforcement of the 2257 law to harass and threaten adult producers where if one "I" was left undotted or one "T" left uncrossed, the producer faced a prison sentence of 5 years. In other words, Bush and Company knew couldn't win on an actual obscenity case, so they decided to make the producer's jobs much more difficult and keep them jumping through hoops just to keep their livelihood. And if anyone got wind of what they were doing, they could justify it by saying they're doing it to "protect the children". What a sneaky, underhanded way of misusing government resources.

I'm sure millions of people in the adult industry breathed a collective sigh of relief once Bush left office and Obama took over. Our national nightmare is over, but the aftereffects still linger. We lost some freedoms that we may never get back again.

Quickie review of Faceless aka Les Predateurs De La Nuit.

Faceless is about a French cosmetic surgeon who’s sister gets her face burned by a vial of acid. He then abducts women, and with the help of a former Nazi doctor, attempts to restore his sister’s face.

Gimp wise there are three segments of varying length that are all about the same in content. All have the same victim as she is strapped to a bed. At one point she escapes due to acting as though she’s into the mute-assistant who raped (implied) her earlier by acting sexy so he unties her. Watching the scene reminded me of Brutus’ description of the escape in his review of Backwoods.

Entertainment wise, a older Eurohorror flick where a lot was obviously done for shock value, getting a grade of C-.

As Gimp, lots of wasted opportunities as most captives are just sitting in padded cells. Plus I didn’t find the strapped victim particularly appealing in this (but that’s just me), and nothing happens (other than the implied rape) so rates only a grade of D.

Baise-Moi is about two women (Karen Lancaume & Raffaëla Anderson) who get abducted & raped. What follows is an irrational robbery and killing spree, including a slaughter of everyone in a night club. Earlier they mess with one victim in particular. He thinks he’s getting lucky, instead they throw up on him as he’s getting a blow-job before they end up killing him.

Gimp wise as mentioned, there is an abduction and rape of two women. The two have very different reactions to getting raped. One cries and screams while the other just kinda sits there motionless. In fact this one is so unwilling to give the rapist anything reaction-wise that they end up losing interest.

As entertainment, pretty much a porn movie with a story….and no cum shots. Good enough for a C+.

As Gimp, the rape scene could have been a lot better as both of the girls didn’t seem to put up that big of a fight, especially Karen Lancaume. So even though there’s a rape with nudity and penetration it only rates a C.

Set in Italy, The Lost stars Lacey Chabert as an institutionalized teen who suffers from multiple personality disorder. For most of the three years she’s been in the institution she’s been kept in a drug induced almost catatonic state. A new doctor (Armand Assante) comes in to re-diagnose Lacey. As he orders the discontinuation of her med regime, he touches base with the three other personalities that live within. He soon discovers a rarity in the disorder in that she doesn’t only give a name but produces complete names (first/last/middle) of the personalities as they appear. As he investigates, he discovers that they are the names of actual people. As each personality appears, so do subtle changes in Lacey, such as eye color and scars. Upon further investigation these personalities turn out to be abduction victims who have never been found.

Gimp wise there is a pretty good electro-shock scene where Lacey gets shock therapy. More so due to payback for kicking the original doctor than for prescribed therapy. Lacey gets strapped down, gets electrodes placed on her temples, a mouthpiece shoved in her mouth, then shocked to unconsciousness. Lacey does a pretty good job in selling the scene including pleading for them to stop prior to the actual shocking. There are also several brief snippets of the missing girls as they are shown bound and gagged.

As entertainment I thought this was a pretty good movie. Lacey does a good job as the patient and the personalities of the three other girls (one of whom is Chinese as Lacey speaks in tongues) But not a surprise as Lacey is a decent actress (not elite or anything but can get the job done). Plus I’ve always liked Lacey Chabert, though she seems to be the forgotten one from the Buffy/Party of Five era. The ending has a twist but was kinda a letdown IMO. But other than that, not a bad movie. Overall a grade of C+/B-.

As Gimp, a very well done shock scene featuring Lacey. The snippets are no more than window dressing and can’t really be counted very highly. Overall a grade of C+.

I like seeing the images; it adds to the text and helps me visualize if the movie is worth checking out. I'm sure there are many of us out there who appreciate what you do, even if they do their best not to say anything.

But man! Did you have to make this one so hard? 3 foreign movies and you have to match the type of scene with each movie? Well, Baise-Moi was easy; it was the only one of the 3 I've seen so I naturally knew about the rape scene. But I guessed wrong on the other 2, so I'll take another loss this week. After you snapped my streak, that's 2 in a row now. Suddenly I'm feeling very humble. But most of my previous wins were lucky guesses, to be honest. I mainly learn about GIMP-worthy titles when they get discussed here on the forum.

Of the three movies, I'm definitely interested in checking out The Lost. Lacey Chabert is cute and of course, I'm a big fan of electric shock scenes. But where did you find this one? Netflix doesn't carry it, Amazon doesn't have it; it looks like yet another movie where you have exclusive viewing rights and the rest of the United States is not permitted to see. I would love to have your connections.

I think you are right. Japanese authorities rarely crack down on porn unless they want to make an example of a producer who has gotten under their skin for whatever reason. They are even reluctant to do anything substantial against child porn. They may act if there's enough international pressure against them, but usually it's only a token gesture. The controversy over the RapeLay video game that was mentioned here earlier is a good example.

I have not read anything about a crackdown on violent porn. In fact, the only thing remotely related is a Tokyo ordinance on depicting child sex in comics. The ordinance isn't about restricting content, but selling it to minors. And even that is facing difficulties getting passed.

Japanese producers are, as you said, probably trying to appeal to an international audience. They probably know that their really harsh stuff wouldn't make it over the border.

I hate to correct y'all but "Baise-moi" means "Fuck me", not "Rape me". "Un baiser" (noun) is "a kiss", when you use "baiser" as a verb it mean "to fuck". "le viol" (noun) means "rape", "violer" (verb) means "to rape". So "Viole-moi" would mean "rape me".

Speaking of which, I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but I saw "Baise-moi" on the big screen in Paris when it premiered there. There were all sorts of warnings on the theatre outside about extreme content and yet still many people walked out of the theatre during the movie. In France of all places!

Which brings up an interesting observation. When I saw "Baise-moi" for the first time in 2000 I was rather shocked. That's not to say that I didn't like it, but that was my reaction. I recently saw it again on DVD in 2009 and I didn't find it shocking at all. Which makes me think that I have become completely desensitized to GIMP content, rape scenes, etc. I wonder if some of the GIMP scenes in movies are actually pretty good, but I've seen so many and become so desensitized that it takes a lot for me to be thrilled at this point. Yeaugh it takes a little while....but what else is an insomniac going to do in the middle of the night. It's amazing what you have time for with an extra 2, 3, 4, 5 or sometimes even 6 hours of time most others don't have. ;-)

I listed The Lost as Perduits first in the list of “aka's” since that was the title that I found my used copy under. I'm pretty lucky in that a local DVD swap store not only sells used foreign films but new ones as well. Just the foreign section alone is probably a 40' long rack/bin section. The other side has a nearly as long “Cult” titles section. The good part about that is that I can pick up a new title that I really am interested in and not get totally stuck if it sucks. I just picked up a new French movie I've been wanting to see called Sheitan (w/Vincent Cassel) and if it ends up sucking, I can bring it back within 2 weeks and get 60% of the cost back. Even more for used copies (75%).

Anyway, right now unless you can find a new or used copy locally, the only online source is Amazon UK (also under the title Perduits I believe) but should eventually be released in the US.

OK Jane what gives? A little while back JohnM let us know about a Gimp Facebook type site (I forget the actual name) so I looked about a bit. Oh before I forget, I wanted to ask anyone who'd care to give some feedback. I have broadband and the GIF files (Lacey Electro-shock / Scarlett Spider facial) load quickly for me. Curious if I should continue to make those or do they load too slowly?

The reason I ask is I can make one of those in under a minute. It's actually much easier than loading individual pictures.

You're not alone, I too am an insomniac and have been all my life. Life for us insomniacs isn't easy, our metabolisms are usually opposite of everyone else's. That is our metabolic systems speed up at night and slow down during the day. What is one going to do when he/she is unable to sleep even if he/she wants too? LTL copes by watching GIMP movies and writing reviews. I cope by watching GIMP movies, reading GIMP themed E-books, playing video games, or what ever I can do to pass the time until I find myself able to sleep, which is usually around sunrise.

LTL, I bet that most of your family and those around you believe that you stay up all night and sleep all day because you want to. I bet they can't understand how it feels to be yawning, unable to keep your eyes open while seated in a chair, and then unable to fall asleep a few minutes later when you lie down in bed. The common folk will never understand life for those of us who were born this way. They'll never understand that we never chose to be the way we are, the way that life made us.

Jane: You'll get no ridicule from me. I've had the same experience. Sometimes I watch a scene that would have astonished me in the past, but my reaction today is >meh<.

But a lot goes into making a scene exciting, not just the skin and the action. The set-up, the lighting, little touches like sweat or tears, and especially the reactions of the actress. On top of that, we all have our own buttons that need to be pushed, and what works for some may not work for others.

A recent let-down for me was watching Scream of the Demon Lover, looking for a torture rack scene that had been edited out of a version I had previously viewed. Well, it was an OK scene, kind of brief and dimly-lit. It really wasn't a true rack scene because the girl (a very beautiful Jennifer Harvey) was never stretched and often her arms were bent. Point is, viewing this when it was first released would have elicited a "wow!" But all I could manage was a "meh".

I often get more turned on by Ralphus' daily pics, such as today's pic, which I find truly hot. Maybe they just stimulate the imagination more than a flesh-and-blood movie scene.

Y'know, I've seen so many of these jungle WIP flicks that they've all sorta sloshed together in my mind. But I do recall what happens to Anitra before she gets her "hair extension". She escapes from the prison camp, only to encounter a group of drunken GIMPers who immediately start setting her up for a gang-rape. Some good clothes-ripping and clothes-cutting ensue, but unfortunately the fun is interrupted by the prison guards, who have tracked her down with dogs.

There's also a scene with Pam Grier strapped to a chair and getting tortured in a unique way. The warden puts bullets between each of her fingers and then slowly squeezes her hand. Yow!

Maybe someone out there can remember some more goodies from that movie.

I find a lot of those old pulp illustrations VERY erotic. You get the feeling that those artists must have really enjoyed their job. I mean, if I had any talent for drawing, I can think of worse ways to make a living than drawing half-naked, terrified women being chained up and tortured by Nazis. (Why was it always Nazis?)

If the title of the one movie had translated into "Rape Me," that would have created an interesting philosophical challenge. If a woman asks to be raped, is it really rape? I mean, that sounds consensual to me, although rape is nonconsensual. This is the kind of question Mr. Spock might have used to disarm Harry Mudd's androids.

Perhaps my perspective is skewed because I don't live in America, but when it comes to freedom issues for GIMPers, I don't see any difference in those censorship-loving pols, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Obama seems to treasure big government at least as much as Bush did (maybe more) and I don't see any signs that he plans to make life any easier for people who produce and/or watch violent pornography. For me, I can usually fall asleep but will wake at some time during the night, then can't fall back asleep. The only time I consider Gimp themed stuff is only after I've given up on going back to sleep.

If nothing else I would give up the video games at least 3 hours or so before you want to go to bed. Seriously, worse than caffeine!

Jane's comment about becoming desensitized to GIMP material brings up an interesting topic. I think that sometimes I'm the same way. With all the porn on the net, in my e-mail box, on my hard drive, in my video collection, sometimes it's a bit on a overload. It's everywhere, easy to access in just a few clicks. I've been watching said material for over a quarter of a century. I've seen a lot. If I were to pull out some of my oldest compilation tapes (from the mid 1980s), there's still some stuff there I would watch today, but a lot I probably wouldn't.

Back when I was younger and saw a movie where a woman was tied up, that was something new, something exciting. Now, I've gotta have more. Tied up and tortured. Tied up and raped. Of course, my favorite stuff even back then was the rougher stuff, but I find as I get older, I'm more discerning.

Maybe my standards are higher. I'll discount a scene if the girl isn't tied well, or isn't gagged, or gagged well. I've gotten to the point where thin cleave gags bore me because I know they're practically useless. If I see a vibrator, it's fast-forward time. Or if the woman has tattoos. I zipped through a video just recently because the producer decided to "enhance" the action with annoying music, looped continuously all the way through the show. I would say that 90% of what I see nowadays I have no interest in whatsoever. Maybe it's because I've seen it all and I'm desperate to see something new, something different. Or just something good. Because boy, there's a lotta crap out there.

LTL: I've been wondering where you found all those vidcaps that you use to highlight your Which One Has the GIMP shows. So you make them yourself? That's a real advantage, wish I had the time and the ability to do that. Unfortunately, I have to get my 7 hours of sleep in to be ready for work, unlike a few people here. I love the animated GIFs. I have high-speed myself, and no loading problems for me. In this day and age, it's surprising to me that there are still people out there on dial-up. Using a phone line for Internet is sooooo 1999....

Yes I do. Indirectly JohnM is responsible for that (thanks for the great recommendation. :-[) Either here or on his website he recommended VLC player (free download). Not only does it play all types of video files but has a built in screen capture device.

Double bonus is that my laptop crashed about a year ago and lost it's capability to play DVD's. When I downloaded VLC, I could then again play DVD's on the laptop.

But in addition to the PC laptop I also have a 21” or 22” MAC with an LED screen. So even though my TV is larger, the picture quality on the Mac is far better. And the Mac also has built in ability to screen capture. I tend to watch most of my DVD's on the Mac now.

Then it's just a matter of assembly line process. Much quicker than trying to find a pic on the net that'll illustrate the point you're trying to get across.

So no specially purchased programs. Everything is either free or standard Mac issue.

That's interesting. I use the VLC player but I have no idea how to capture screen shots -- I didn't even know you could do this with a VLC player. Maybe LTL can provide some tips for dummies.

LTL: I second your enthusiasm about VLC media player, it's been a lifesaver for me since my Windows Media Player no longer wants to play DVDs on my computer (go figure). It's also good for playing clips in some sort of unfathomable variations of mpg and avi.

Like A Canadian (who originally recommended VLC to me, thanks dude) I've fumbled around with the screen capture feature. I didn't realize I had done something right until one day when I discovered some screen cap images in an unexpected place on my hard disk. So I would also appreciate any tips about using it.

VLC player screencaps: First thing you might want to do is change the format for vidcaps as the default format is PNG files (The first time I posted one Ralphus sent me an e-mail letting me know about large files and long loading times. I think his exact words were “You big dummy”..... just kidding ;-)

I'm looking at my Mac version right now so the PC version might be slightly different. But should go...

VLC (or probably File on a PC)
Preferences
Video
then change from PNG to JPG

Then vidcaps are pretty easy. Pause play at the image you want to save (you don't have to and can just screencap while playing movie)
Video
Snapshot

If you're on a PC the images should automatically end up in the “My Pictures” folder.

There is probably a way to default it to another folder but haven't figured that out yet. I just keep my “My Pictures” folder empty then mass transfer to another folder of my choice later.

One last question, if I may -- I noticed that you use that image socket site for your pictures, and that your links only show the picture you saved. However, when I tried creating an image on that site, it opened with some of the website's content at the top. Any sense what I'm doing wrong?

On the version of VLC Player I have, in the Preferences link under Tools, there's a Video option where you can set the directory to save vidcaps, choose to have them time-stamped or sequentially numbered and select the format to jpg. After making your changes, you'll need to save and then re-open the program to have the changes take effect.

Of course, our favorite site has made the cut, as well as GIMP babes Jane von Detlefson and Natasha Flade (was there ever any doubt?), and artists Scribbler and Gary Roberts. Lots of interesting names and sites listed, many with links. Check 'em out.

Brutus questioned the wording of one of the new rules earlier. Here's what it stated:

"Voters can cast a vote each day during the second stage, just not for a person or company they voted for a prior day."

So I wrote John at the Bondage Awards about it asking for a clarification. Did that mean you couldn't vote for your favorites a second time? Or you had to wait a day and vote for someone else on Day 2?

Well, here's the answer. You can only vote for your favorites ONCE, period. One man, one vote, like in the Presidential elections, instead being able to go back and vote multiple times, like when Major League Baseball lets the fans choose the All-Star teams. In other words, you can only vote for a site once during the entire voting period. Subsequent votes must be for someone else. His reason is that some people have small armies of followers and their daily voting power can easily overwhelm the average casual voter who only votes once or twice during voting period. This change in rules levels the playing field.

I'm not sure how I feel about these new rules. For one thing, it favors the huge, popular commercial sites like Kink.com over smaller sites with a dedicated fan base like ours, for instance. With our significantly smaller numbers, it's going to be difficult, if not impossible, to place in the Top 10 again this year. Simply put, we don't have enough members to make an impact. We average around 900-1000 hits a day and most of those are the same people who stop by to get their fix every day. We are harder-edged than most sites in terms of our content (rape, torture, etc.) and our appeal is going to be more limited, since many voters are likely to be uncomfortable with extreme bondage.

Really, the only chance we had against the big boys was that our fans are loyal and willing to support their site with a daily voting blitz like in past years. But since we're no longer allowed, I have to admit my enthusiasm for the awards has certainly waned, in light of this recent change. I just hope everyone here does take the time to vote for us, though. And good luck to Jane, as well.

LTL: Thanks for the info on the vidcaps. I might give it a shot in my next review because those pics you provide certainly help give an idea if the movie would hit the right buttons for the viewer's tastes.

I do take Ralphus' point that the new process gives an edge to the bigger players. But that is something that should be addressed by fixing the categories, so that websites and companies that are smaller aren't competing in the same categories as the big guys.

Since we have an opportunity to spread our votes around, I would encourage everyone to vote for the GIMP site, Jane von Detlefson, Natasha Flade, Red Feline, Rick Masters, ZFX, Jeff Gord, House of Gord, Bondage Barrix, and of course, Scribbler. I'm also going to put in a vote for Dia Zerva.

Ralphus - today's header pic "Helpless Brides of Satan's Ice Monster" - what thrilling artwork - seems a shame we can't get Eli Roth to film such an epic - maybe this is what his "Hostel" stuff should have been - I'm convinced Tarantino got his line from "Pulp Fiction" about getting medievel on your ass from gazing on the interior artwork of MAM's.

I suppose John is from Chicago and did not want to adopt that city policy of vote early, vote often - either that or he has Rod Blago working on selling the award to the highest bidder - I think I understand the rationale on the voting process and it's probably a good idea that needs to be tweaked a bit before next year.

Well, my initial votes for the Bondage Awards have been cast. Over the next few days, I will ensure that everyone on my list is officially supported.

Here is some information for those of you who may have been thinking about ordering anything from Larry at Video Mayhem, but have not been sure if you order will arrive quickly. Last week on April 20 I ordered SDMT #047 from Video Mayhem. My order didn't take very long to arrive, exactly one week from the day that the order was placed.

It seems like Larry has managed to improve order delivery time. Larry, you've just earned back a customer.

Checking out the Best Model nominees, I saw a bunch of names I've never heard of, so it's nice that they have links you can click on to see what they look like, even though a slew of the links are broken (this was obviously a rush job, based on the sloppy HTML work). Then there's more errors, like separate entries for Tasha Marley and Natasha Marley (they're the same girl, John) as well as last year's winner Jasmine Sinclair, also alternately listed as "J. Sinclaire".

I also saw at least 3 guys listed, one of whom is a cross-dresser (well, where in the rules does it say the Best Model has to be female?) as well as a genuine freakgirl who nearly made me spew onto my computer screen (click at your own risk, but you've been warned...This is scary). I guess if it only takes 2 votes to become a nominee, anybody and everybody can make it.

Under our category, Best Free Website, there are a whopping 88 sites listed, way more than last year, including, strangely enough, 2 Yahoo groups, including one from our friend Hank Hobbs. Well, I guess they are technically websites, although probably a majority of people don't even go there and merely get the content sent to their e-mail boxes.

Anyway, it should be quite interesting to see how the voting goes this year. I agree with Brutus that the changes were made to prevent the Luvbights from dominating the awards again like they did the past 2 years. John even alluded to it himself on his discussion forum. I think we should all just have fun voting for our favorites. I'm definitely giving one of my Best Model votes to Jane, as much for her beauty as for the fact that she does a lot harder physical work in her Red Feline movies than most if not all of the other nominees out there.

LTL: Thanks for the info on making vidcaps with the VLC Player. I tried it the other night and started knocking out caps left and right. This will definitely be a good thing when I update entries in the Whipping and other databases. I can make my own caps now instead of searching the net (usually in vain) trying to find stills. Of course, it will take a lot more time, but pictures are going to be a big improvement. I expect a few of our review-writing fellow GIMPers will use that knowledge into spicing up their reviews, too.

Now, if you wanna check out something interesting, take a look at the crossdresser that also got nominated for Best Model. Remember, you only needed a meager 2 votes to make it to Round 2, which is why they had almost 900 nominees this year. Interesting that the one man, one vote criteria did not apply to the nomination process, which means he/she could have just voted for himself/herself twice and gotten in.

As far as taking more time, I think it's the opposite. Especially, as you stated, “searching the net (usually in vain)”, plus also a lot of sites you can't hotlink to (I think that's the term) then you have to go pic hosting site anyway.

I cast my votes yesterday for Jane & the Gimp sites. Today I looked around a bit at the past winners. The one that stuck out is Ashley Renee getting third place last year. Isn't she about 60? I know that at the very (very) least it's 45.

I've never cared for Ashley Renee because she's in all this “Love Bondage” crap. But even if I was...... Come on people....this is an annual award.....it's not for lifetime achievement.

A while back we were talking about Ursula Fellner in Devil Hunter and Ralphus mentioned that she also got GIMPed in two other Jess Franco films (which he declined to name, that sly dog). Well, I just got my grubby, lecherous hands on one of them, Linda. In this one, the title character’s sister Betsy (Fellner) has been pressed into sexual slavery. I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a good one – can’t wait to view and review it for all of you. Man, it’s great to have GIMPage money again!

Nope, I never knew how to make caps before. I'm trying to remember my last 2 reviews. I got all my Basement Schoolgirl caps from PKF Studios. They do a great job of supplying high quality stills for their productions, which really makes it easier to decide if they're worth ordering. BTW, I saw a couple of their newer titles this past weekend, Liar and Hogtie Killer 6 with Dia Zerva, which are both worth investing in if you've got some extra coin. Interestingly enough (I didn't realize this before I ordered) the villain in both of them is played by our friend MaX CoXXX.

I may be reviewing one or both in the near future. Just a matter of finding the time.

Ralphus - I'm certain many Gimpers have asked that same question over the years - "How did the Nazis get hold of so many American Babes" - allow me to shed some light on that for the forum.

In 1986 I filed a petition under the Freedom of Information Act on that exact subject - within the year I was mulling through over 9,000 documents from various government entities covering the war years - from my exhaustive research and analysis it became clear this was a major component of the grand strategy to bring the war to a speedy conclusion.

It was well known in allied intelligence circles that the Nazis generally assigned multiple soldiers to the torture and torment of one scantily clad bound babe - in fact the Reich set such a high priority on this endeavor that a high ranking Nazi henchman, one Ernst Himmelmeyer, was placed in charge of the Ministry of Bound Babes with sweeping powers over all other branches of government.

LTL: A while back you reviewed The Cottage and asked for other opinions about the movie. I watched it and agree entirely with your assessment. Yes, the GIMPage was a bit lacking and the victim should've been naked. But the movie was quite entertaining, not what I expected at all. I thought it was sort of a mixture of Fargo, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Wrong Turn.

I loved the line by the frustrated David tending to the wounds of Peter who had just been caught off-guard and repeatedly headbutted by the bound and gagged damsel, "I bet you were looking at her tits."

And how 'bout Heidi Montag? She too used to be a very attractive young woman. Look at the freak she's become.......though maybe becoming a new favorite of that A Canadian guy.

I've been enjoying this place since the beginning of the year, so I figure I should finally de-lurk and maybe contribute something in return for all the great posts and info everyone has shared recently. I won't get deep into my background, but will say I've been feeding a variety of dark fetishes for about 40 years. Foremost among them is seeing GIMP, though as most of you know, that takes in a wide range of other elements.

I enjoy bondage, torture and peril in all its forms, providing the victim is a gorgeous female, sparsely attired or not attired at all. Beyond that, things get complicated, but suffice it to say that most of what is posted here aligns nicely with my own fantasies. Perhaps the only exception is that I prefer my victims' ordeals to be terminal - no hope, no escape, and ultimately "no tomorrow" (to quote Agent 86 from a classic Get Smart episode). I lean towards the extreme, and I realize that's not every GIMPer's passion, but I can be just as happy with the milder stuff if it pushes the right buttons.

Some folks here I already know and I have communicated with them in the past. Others, I look forward to getting to know better. In any case, go easy on me as I try to settle in.

Okay, I know what you're thinking… "Stop blathering on about yourself and share something interesting." Well, many posts down, MAV mentions the recent release of Mark of the Whip 2. LSS… I bought this DVD when it first came out, have watched it a half dozen times, own all the other Teraz / Stella / Terror Perverse productions, and have even exchanged e-mail with the producer. I'm not qualified to do much, but I can probably write a review of MOW2. So here goes…

(Apologies for the length of this write-up - it probably goes into far more detail than many of you want to know. If you're as impatient as I am, or want to avoid the spoilers, just scroll down and read the final seven paragraphs.)

Mark of the Whip 2

First things first: There has been much debate about the Fantom Kiler films, Abducted by the Daleks (perhaps the most widely known of this bunch), Mark of the Whip and the half dozen or so other home-grown titles distributed by Trevor Barley's Sinerama (formerly Media Publications) company. Early releases have Polish dialogue with English subs, all feature East European actresses, and many have clearly foreign props and locations. Many think that Trevor is in fact Roman Nowicki and that he shoots in the UK (home of Sinerama), disguising it as Eastern Europe to avoid legal hassles in Great Britain. Though all may not be as it seems, I won't dwell on this issue as it has no real bearing on the review.

That said, anyone who has seen other Teraz films will feel right at home with MOW2. Like FK4 and other recent titles, this one forgoes the subtitles of the earlier Kiler flicks and goes for broke: English dialogue all around whether or not the actors speak the language. The male characters do okay, despite having oddly synthesized voices, but virtually all the actresses speak in stilted monotones, as if reading their lines phonetically. To be fair, it's clear these girls were not hired to deliver Oscar-worthy performances; what they lack in thespian skills, they make up for with their prodigious physical attributes. This film is brimming with tight, toned, absurdly pneumatic female bodies, most all of which are displayed stripped and glistening at every opportunity.

Surprisingly, the producer of MOW2 told me that much of the film was cobbled together with unused footage from the original. If so, it still has a remarkably coherent story line, and carries on more or less seamlessly from its predecessor. Hana Liska, who played the lead role of Sylvia Novak in MOW1 has been replaced by Tiffany Love (or Tiffany Lust, depending on whether you believe the credits on the DVD box or the film itself), and Kate Blond (or Blonde) returns as Sylvia's sexy friend Kasia. The "addicted to the whip" theme unfortunately remains, but it often is hard to imagine the GIMP scenes in MOW2 being consensual. In fact, (Spoiler >>> ) this time around, some of the luscious babes are flogged to death!

As for the story, it exists solely as a frame from which to hang a variety of GIMP set pieces. The film opens with the abduction of Stella Diamond (played by Stacy Silver, arguably the most stunning of a consistently gorgeous female cast) by two Gestapo type secret police from the "Securitate". Like all the film's male characters, the Gestapo guys wear latex fright masks, leaving their lips motionless when they speak. They also move somewhat robotically, as if they are impersonating the puppets on Thunderbirds. No matter… they still seem rather menacing, and manage to molest poor Stella, who is apprehended as a suspected member of the "Outlaw Democratic Party" (why is it always the Democrats who are the outlaws?).

Just as we expect to see Stella being interrogated by the Securitate, we cut instead to (wait for it) a bucolic scene of nuns raking leaves in front of their convent. WTF? Didn't see that coming. Apparently, Sylvia Novak (heroine of MOW1) has checked into God-rehab to cure her "addiction to the whip". She receives a letter from her friend Kasia, who still longs to be flogged to orgasm and can't escape her vile desires.

At some deserted East European factory, Kasia is seen making off with a briefcase full of cash, inconspicuously dressed in heels, white shorts and matching shirt tied under her ample jugs. Two more Securitate officers, both wearing funky balaclavas, jump Kasia and spirit her off to presumably the same place Stella was taken in the first scene. Securitate: 2. Outlaw Democrats: 0.

Back at the convent, the pious sisterhood is doing what nuns apparently do in their leisure hours: watch Videodrome-like torture porn on TV. In fact, they are watching out-takes from one of the Fantom Kiler flicks, and this leads to the first real GIMP scene in the film. There's no bondage, but we do get to see a curly-haired brunette repeatedly perforated with a power drill until the whirling bit is buried to the hilt in her right eye. Fun times, and the nuns eat it up. Then, on to the news.

The world's worst anchorwoman stumbles through a story about the body of a woman found in a nearby warehouse. She (the body, not the anchorwoman) "had been stripped naked, bound, and apparently whipped to death". She also "endured multiple orgasms before dying". That last fact is easy for the CSI team to establish because they can look for… er… test for… um… well, you know. Along with the orgasm-riddled body, the police also found a video camera which had been used to film the woman's torturous demise. Why? To make a snuff film, dummy. How do they know this? Someone had a senior's moment and forgot to remove the tape from the camera. Yep, that's believable.

In any case, the EE newscasters (god bless 'em) decide to show the snuff footage so viewers can help identify the victim. Cue the second GIMP scene: a naked and ball-gagged Kasia is shown straddling a wooden horse, with a massive dildo mounted at its apex thrust about a foot up her snatch. She is bound AOH and being whipped vigorously from behind. This is a great little scene, but sadly is far too brief. It also is annoyingly intercut with reaction shots of the nuns, Sylvia among them, who of course are watching all this on the tube.

The segment ends with a few shots of Kasia being forced to fellate the dildo, then cuts to a horrified Sylvia, who somehow deduces that the Fantom Whipper (the master-flogger in MOW1) is behind all this. Sylvia vows to avenge her friend, quits the convent in an amusing little exchange with the Mother Superior, then journeys through the EE countryside like Maria Von Trapp before checking into a seedy hotel in the nearest big smoke.

And what became of the delectable Stella Diamond you ask? Deep in the dungeons of Securitate HQ, the big-boobed blonde has been stripped of her skimpy suspender suit and "tied" spread-eagle to a giant wheel. One of the Gestapo guys who captured her proceeds to interrogate her in order to get the names of other Outlaw Democrats. The interrogation consists of about 3 minutes of whipping with a cat-o'-nine-tails until Stella collapses in her bonds, apparently dead.

This could have been an amazing scene. The victim is a knock-out, she's splayed wide and wearing nothing but stilettos, the villain is a veritable modern-day Nazi, and the classical music on the soundtrack is suitably dire. But so much goes off the rails here that I just about cried in frustration. Stella's restraints, especially those around her ankles, are so loose that the actress would have had trouble not slipping free by accident. Her reactions to the whipping are almost comical ("oh, ow, ooh, agh"), and small wonder: the strokes wouldn't harm a hamster. There is no way on earth the punishment meted out could have killed Stella, though I've been assured by the producer that that was his intent. Finally, the scene is so dark you'll reach for your night-vision goggles. I still enjoyed watching it, but man… this was a huge waste of potential!

Back at the seedy hotel, ex-nun Sylvia doffs her habit and proves she is quite a fetching gal in mufti. A quick call to Randy the gunrunner, and he shows up at her room as if delivering fresh pizza. Sylvia, who likes the heavy ordinance, relieves him of a .38, and a 44 Magnum before channeling Travis Bickle and offing Randy with a 380. At this point, I was beginning to feel a bit sorry for the Fantom Whipper.

If you think we've left the convent behind when Sylvia skipped out, you thinked wrong. It seems Mother Superior has secrets of her own, not the least of which is her own allegiance to the Outlaw Democrats. With Kasia and Stella dearly departed, Gestapo guy needs a another victim, and thanks to treacherous Sister Amanda, a new suspect is his for the taking. A brief milk-run to the convent later, and Mother Superior is naked, ball-gagged and kneeling in the Securitate dungeon. Played by Maria Vaslova (star of Nina's Nightmares), she's quite a babe once divested of her penguin suit, but not quite in the league of the first two victims. Imagine fetish actress Reyja Wood with bolt-ons.

Anyway, unless I've lost count, this is GIMP scene #4… and again we fall a bit short (sigh). Gestapo guy administers yet another mild whipping with the cat, but this time Maria sells the scene much better than Stacy did when it was her turn. The lighting is an improvement as well. Though dark and smoky, the dungeon now seems atmospheric rather than lit by a single match.

The problem? Mother Superior endures the lash, the repeated mauling of her oversized udders, and an explicitly shown rape with a ginormous dildo while completely unrestrained! She's on her knees throughout the torture, leaning back on her arms, but apparently unfettered. Given this, one would think the woman would at least make a token attempt to move away from all the abuse. But no, she doesn't budge an inch, obediently posing for her tormentor. Maybe she's enjoying her punishment, but that would make this a consensual scene and just as disappointing. Another close one, but no cigar yet.

Moving the plot along, Sylvia closes in on the Fantom Whipper, though he has yet to make his first appearance. Our ex-nun vigilante knows where he lives (perhaps having been there in MOW1), and drops by his country mansion to visit… his mother? Yes indeedy, FW is out doing his thing, but Mom's home and kindly lets Sylvia know her son is working for the Securitate as chief interrogator. Mom, by the way, is a friendly old crone played by someone named "Dorothy Slime". Since the hag is wearing one of those ubiquitous masks, my guess is she's yet another anonymous male performer.

Back to the dungeons, and finally we have a GIMP scene worthy of the brand! Gestapo guy has apparently given up on Mother Superior, turning her over to our hero, who makes his entrance at last. Materializing from the shadows of a suitably dank and dreary torture chamber, Fantom Whipper has his minions bind their curvy subject's hands far overhead, pulling her up until she is all but suspended, her toes barely touching two wooden pallets positioned so she is forced to spread her legs. Fully restrained, Maria Vaslova's naked body looks absolutely stunning stretched to the limit and covered in perspiration.

And then the Fantom Whipper gets to work. No joke store cat-o'-nine for him though. To Mother Superior's horror, FW is armed with a no-nonsense Lash LaRue bullwhip which he swings with deadly accuracy. To the welcome sound of snapping leather and the victim's cries, he repeatedly curls the lash around the girl's torso, slicing into her breasts, ass, thighs, and yes, down there too. This scene is outstanding, and goes on for a good five minutes. Maria Vaslova's pain tolerance must be quite high, as her whipping isn't faked; we clearly see the lash dig into her flesh, and her skin reddens noticeably.

Wanting a change of scenery, FW has the exhausted, sweat-soaked Mother Superior cut down and dragged face-forward against a stone pillar from which a wicked looking metal hook protrudes at waist level. Hands tied behind her back, the girl is lifted up until her legs straddle the hook, it's open end at crotch level. Before you can think "that's gotta hurt", Mother Superior is dropped onto the hook, which penetrates her pussy and again, forces her to stand on tip-toe. But not for long. Unbelievably, the guards kick her legs out from under her, leaving our impaled victim supported solely by her cunt.

What follows of course, is more punishment for Mother Superior. Sadly, this time FW chooses to paddle her lightly across the ass with a riding crop, but watching his captive arch backwards while writhing on the hook makes up for the rather lame rump slapping. Next, it's over to the big wheel for Mother Superior. Unfortunately, the restraints are as poorly tied as ever, and FW decides to borrow not only Gestapo guy's wimpy cat, but also his slap-and-tickle technique. How this is supposed to loosen Mother Superior's tongue when the bullwhip and crotch hook have failed is anyone's guess.

Of course, all pretense of an interrogation has long been dropped in favor of getting the girl "addicted to the whip", whatever purpose that's supposed to serve. At the end of Mother Superior's lengthy ordeal, she's still alive, and as FW proudly points out to Gestapo guy, she is refusing to speak in order to prolong her pleasure. It's too bad this scene ends on a consensual note because the victim's suffering, especially in the early stages of her interrogation, is hot as blazes.

Later, Fantom Whipper finally meets up with Sylvia, who has been lying in wait for him. Though it seems she could easily have shot FW on the spot, Sylvia chooses instead to pay her nemesis for a sound thrashing later that night. FW looks forward to reliving the good old times with his former victim, unaware that she is only pretending to still crave the whip.

Or is she? While awaiting her rendezvous with FW, Sylvia strips naked, finally revealing her sweaty, buxom bod in all its glory. She masturbates, imagining first the tortures of poor Kasia, then substituting herself into the scene. The GIMP shots here are brief, but when intercut with Sylvia's orgasmic writhing, things get pretty exciting… even more so when Sylvia ups the ante by pushing the barrel of the .38 up her snatch to "help satiate (her) desire".

That could've ended the film right there, but no, Sylvia's climax is not as earth-shaking as it might have been. Though her resolve begins to waver, she arrives at FW manor promptly at midnight and, in a truly off-putting scene, FW's Mom forces Sylvia to strip and inspects her orifices for god-knows-what. Somehow, Mom overlooks the girl's handbag, sending her to the dungeon with nothing but her heels and purse.

Virtually naked, Sylvia confronts FW, who cracks his bullwhip ferociously, causing her to become a quivering, pissing, masochistic wretch. He demands payment before proceeding, and Sylvia complies, ignoring the gun in her purse for a stack of bills which FW happily accepts. But, at the last minute, our heroine has a change of heart and finally pulls her weapon on him. For approximately two seconds, she has the upper hand, but she is distracted by Mom and easily disarmed by FW.

At this point, Sylvia's fate is sealed. Not only has she pissed off FW, her "addiction" has been rekindled, and what follows is a panoply of scenes showing the girl enduring a variety of ordeals. Always nude and covered in whip marks and perspiration, Sylvia is shown being beaten while standing, bit-gagged with arms tied behind her, bullwhipped with arms overhead, thrashed while tied face-down on a bondage frame, caned while bent over, switched across the ass while teetering on a rocking horse, and lashed while strung up in a crux pose. In between beatings, she's imprisoned in a foot-locker sized cage or terrorized by the least believable fake spider in the history of fake spiders. Supposedly, Sylvia's masochism has made her a willing party to all this abuse, but thankfully, there are no pleadings of "more master" or "don't stop" - nor does she ever look like any of this is part of a special Club Med package for pain sluts. All in all, this segment is quite well done, and Tiffany Love sells it with conviction… well, except when she speaks.

Okay… our hapless heroine fails to avenge her friend, is captured and forever at the mercy of the sadistic Fantom Whipper. The end, right? Wrongo-dongo. First, things have to get really weird. After who-knows-how-long in FW's private dungeon, Sylvia's credit runs out and she'll need to barter for more whip-induced orgasms. What can she offer in return? Sex? Housecleaning? Gourmet meals? Nope… the whipper wants her to steal a painting from her former convent. Interesting idea. And hey, why not?

Cut to Sylvia stealthily breaking into the nunnery while fashionably dressed in a black-mesh cat suit and armed with a flashlight, handgun and AK47. She grabs the painting, but is caught by one of her former cloister-mates, a sumptuous, blonde lesbian. Thinking fast, Sylvia distracts the girl by stripping off her clothes and performing a seduction scene so unbearably awful it will make you want to jump out of your skin. Soon both Sylvia and the blonde beauty are in the buff and groping each others' bodies with wild abandon.

It's a very brief affair, though. Before her lover is allowed to climax, Sylvia has a rope around her neck and strangles the life out of the naked nun. If you're an asphyx fan, this scene might provide a frisson or two, but it's far too short and a bit murky. Nonetheless, the victim is very easy on the eyes and makes a great looking corpse. I've had worse mileage.

What happens next is difficult to describe without leaving readers wondering if I'm just making all this up. So I'll just toss it out, much as it is tossed out in the film. Proving herself to be among the world's worst cat burglars, Sylvia is caught by three more nuns, and tiring of the garroting shtick, just shoots them all dead with her trusty .38. Another sister witnesses the killings, so Sylvia figures she may as well cover her tracks by, erm… massacring all the nuns in the convent!! Out comes the automatic weaponry, and our disgruntled heroine goes on a tear, blasting away all her former workmates. This sequence is not nearly as much fun as it sounds (it's all implied, not shown), and I'm guessing it's meant to add some chuckles and no more.

Finally, things begin to draw to a close. Sylvia proudly presents FW with the painting and licks her lips in anticipation of claiming her reward, yet another sound thrashing with the bullwhip. But a call from the Securitate inspector leads to a change of plans. The massacre at the convent has drawn the attention of the authorities (what a surprise) and FW is asked to "get rid of" his extracurricular plaything so as not to lead the investigation to his employers.

Stripped nude yet again, Sylvia is ball gagged, cuffed and dumped in the back of a panel truck to be driven into the East European countryside. Expecting a night-time whipping in the deep, dark woods, she is pulled from the van and led by FW and his mom to a nice secluded spot. Even when a burlap sack is placed over her head, the gormless gal doesn't seem to realize that maybe --just maybe-- she's in for a little more than a few welts to add to her collection. Oh well, ignorance is bliss.

As Mom cackles with sadistic glee, she places the barrel of a gun against Sylvia's skull. She pulls the trigger, and our luscious heroine drops like the proverbial bag of wet cement. Is Sylvia dead? Well if not, Mom assures FW that she soon will be. Mom wonders whether they should bury the evidence, but FW is happy to let the wolves dispose of the girl's corpse. The scene cuts to Sylvia's naked body lying motionless on the forest floor. There is a barely audible female moan, before a very quick shot of the first wolf lunging from the shadows to claim his dinner.

Despite the Debbie-downer ending, the producer of this series has confirmed plans for MOW3. It may even feature the long-suffering Sylvia Novak as the heroine once again, though it's hard to imagine how she could have survived the climax of MOW2. Personally, I'd love to see another of these vids, though I realize they are not to all GIMPers tastes. In fact, those who enjoyed the original, may take issue with the sequel, and vice versa. The second one has a distinctly harder edge, killing off many of the female characters, though not as overtly as is the case in the Fantom Kiler films.

For those who can overlook some of the glaring foibles of MOW2, there is much to enjoy here. The photography is remarkably atmospheric and professional, even if some scenes are somewhat under lit. The editing is equally competent, and there are no over-long stretches which drag on forever as one often finds in low budget productions. In fact, on purely technical terms, both MOW videos eclipse almost all other fetish productions to the point that some have called them "mainstream" films.

They decidedly are not. Teraz productions are not released to cinemas or video rental outlets, and are primarily marketed as DVDs through Sinerama and a few American cult outlets. Like Red Feline and ZFX films, they are first and foremost produced for a BDSM-appreciative audience. They are not horror movies that just happen to have a few good peril scenes. The peril scenes are their entire raison-d'être.

MOW2 is a video for people who enjoy seeing beautiful, naked females, bound, gagged and otherwise rendered helpless, then whipped in a most erotic fashion. On that count, it delivers in spades - as well or better than much of the competition. The girls are gorgeous (if you don't mind a few man-made bosoms and the EE stripper aesthetic) and the nudity is abundant. The bondage and whipping scenes are widely inconsistent, but there is enough high quality material to make up for the misfires.

So what's not to like? Well, if you can't get past the limited acting abilities of the female cast, this flick might warp your brain. Unlike Red Feline and ZFX videos, MOW2 sets the action amidst a rather ambitious plot, a plot which requires a lot of dialogue to be understood. The guys are (just barely) able to sell their scenes, but the girls mutilate their lines in ways that will make you gasp in disbelief. For me, it's part of the fun, and I find it somewhat endearing. For others, it may be a deal-breaker. Then again, if you've seen any of the English-language Teraz titles, you'll know what to expect.

Other faults? As already mentioned, in some segments the victim's restraints are downright pitiful. A few of the peril scenes fall short as well, resembling fetish games a consensual couple might play at home. Unlike the original MOW, there is no centerpiece scene in which the girl's clothing is progressively whipped from her body before she is allowed to endure ten minutes of welt-raising thrashes to her bare flesh. But some of the bullwhippings in MOW2 come quite close.

Finally, the quirky elements which make Teraz productions so delightful for some of us may tax the tolerance of others. The decidedly surreal presentation of the male characters, FW's annoying mother, the J&B product placements, the WTF plot tangents, and in this case, the obvious religious acrimony will not sit well with everyone. Also, though not as apparent as in the first film, there's the consensual nature of many of the punishments. Most of the victims, especially the heroine, become whip addicts and supposedly get off on their tortures. But at the same time, they try to resist their sexual urges, so there is a non-consensual element to their suffering, too.

All that said, I knew what I was in for when I bought MOW2, and was able to overlook the shortcomings and revel in the many impressive aspects of the production. So… as a GIMP film (and for the many GIMP scenes therein), this vid rates an A- in my book.

On the subject of Heidi Montag's bolt-on boobies, I can think of one good thing that came out of her breast enhancement. They make good targets for boob-smacking games! I think that the larger a women's breasts are, the more it hurts when they are slapped or smacked around. Jane, Gabriella, can one of you tell us if larger breasts hurt more than smaller ones when smacked around?

How about we GIMPers create our own holiday? I am thinking that we could dedicate May 15 as "GIMP Day". For the inaugural celebration I am inviting everyone including Jane and Gabriella to a party. I have rented a large auditorium where we can gather together and party until the sun comes up.

Party goers are welcome to bring along their own partners, companions, slavegirls, etc. I'll have a variety of torture implements ranging from whips to flogger, paddles, and canes avaliable for party goers to use. There will also be several types of racks and cages avaliable.

As for your grade of A-, just based on your descriptions of how some scenes had potential but missed out, I'm not sure I would probably go that high, but most assuredly, this is one that I think every GIMPer needs to seek out. I've been curious about Mark of the Whip 2 ever since I heard a sequel was upcoming. I thought the first one worthwhile, even though it had some flaws. Parts of the first movie looked like the whipping was simulated. You say Maria Vaslova's whipping scene isn't faked in this one? That's worth looking forward to.

You know, I've been thinking about how you said the MOW films really aren't mainstream. Dr. Yuya brought that up a while back, too. I agree, they are really fetish films more in the tradition of ZFX and Red Feline as opposed to a real movie that might play in a theatre. Based on that, I've decided to remove the Teraz releases from Mainstream and give them their own category in the Reviews section. It's a more appropriate place for them.

I don't know if it's just a glitch on the Bondage Awards website, but just as a lark tonight, I went to vote and just checked to see if it would block me from picking the same favorites I voted for before, like it was implied would happen in the new rules. To my surprise, it didn't. So I voted for our site again. Hey, if we're allowed to vote for our favorites every day, then let's do it! I hope everybody takes the 30 seconds or so to cast his ballot for our site. If we get everybody doing it, maybe it's not too late if we all do it once a day.

Which is of course fine, since my expectations were fairly high to begin with, and I've bought a whole movie before with nothing but a single scene that I was really interested in. Purchases for single scenes is almost the norm in the BDSM industry and maybe even the producers intention in some ways I'm starting to think.

The only thing that isn't fine is how MoW2 is being sold. DVD or no other option in this day and age? In a way it's sort of asking for a pirated online version to come out

I've only seen one of the Fantom Killer movies, and maybe it was the worst of the bunch but was kinda bored with it. Can't remember which one, but I remember it was full of nudity but not very much bondage at all. MOW2 sounds like one to check out though to probably give a better representation of the Teraz films.

And wrote of personal preferences: Perhaps the only exception is that I prefer my victims' ordeals to be terminal - no hope, no escape, and ultimately "no tomorrow"

There's a few of us here as well. Ralphus just mentioned a couple of PKF films (Liar & Hogtire Killer 6) he recently viewed which I'm hoping he'll give us a review on in the near future (Samantha's got a sweet little body don't ya think Ralphus?). And of course we have that jhlipton chap with the same interest...when he's not chasing sardines. ;-) So I'd say you pretty much fit right in with the rest of prevs here. ;-)

Almost.....but not quite. Spencer's a jerk and I think he's getting just what he deserves.

As far as being “A Christian bubblehead”; more like hypocrite. A Christian is suppose to embrace what God gave them. And as far as Holly being cute....Heidi was at one point just as cute. I really don't understand why a person as blessed as she was (looks wise) would want to ruin it all to look like “a Barbie”. Hell, even Barbies looks cute in comparison to the monstrosity she's turning out to be.

Now come on TGG, now how are they going to possibly know when the only point of reference is their own experiences. That'd be like asking if you thought screwing with a big dick was more pleasurable than it is with a small dick (or visa-versa, which ever the case may be) since obviously you would have never experienced the other.

But I get what you were trying to get across. Honestly, I'd be afraid to even touch one of Heidi's breasts. They look so taught that they look like they might explode at any second. ;-)

In relation to the discussion about over-inflated breasts, I'd like to register a complaint about another trend that really chaps my ass - over-plumped lips. Heidi Montag is just one of many offenders in this category. I came across a picture of Nikki Cox the other day, and she looked like a horde of killer bees assaulted her mouth. I guess these women are trying to look like Angelina Jolie. Thing is, Angie's lips are inherited and they go well with her overall facial features. Some of these women look more like Mickey Rourke!

Ralphus: I tried voting again for this site in the Bondage Awards, and it seems to have worked. I don't know how John will work this out, if at all. Maybe he'll compare each individual vote with the IP address and delete duplications. But that would seem to be way too time-consuming. Oh well.
