I finally got to watch Dan Hawke's #45: "Hard Pain for Shay "- featuring the Amazonian Canadian Shay Sights (and what a 'sight' she is! She is also in Vanilla movies). I was very impressed by the quality of the material; Dan is a master of his craft and comes across as a 'nice kind of guy', though you never get to see his face which he covers under a medieval looking executioner's black hood, he has a "dirty Uncle" kind of feel too....so when he drags Shay for a bit of fun in his dungeon the action starts, his rope work is top notch, Shay with a ropebra is a 'sight to behold'... who needs Viagra??, and she wears it so well, too!!!

A Canadian: I did a search to see if I could find that Beast Legend vid online, and while I didn't find that, I might have found something better. I don't know what the quality is like, but there's a site called Japan-AV.com that offers Japanese VCDs for just 5 bucks a pop (minimum order $25). My DVD player can VCDs; they only guarantee that you can play them on your computer.

Anyway, they have several categories like "bondage", "busty", "rape", "bukkake", etc. I have more Japanese videos than I know what to do with right now, a lot of which I haven't even watched, so I probably won't be doing any ordering myself. I remember it like it was yesterday! I was about 10 years old, and I was watching an episode of CHARLIES ANGELS. (episode title: Marathon Angels)

Somewhat amazingly, I looked it up and I was 7-9 years old during the Mrs. Peel years, I can remember being so let down when she was no longer on the show and there were less and less gimp scenes. There is no way that at age 7 it isn't something instinctual/hard wired. I remember other kids thinking the show was stupid.

I saw A Clockwork Orange on cable (probably not the most explicit version -- but complete with ball and tape gag and cut off clothing and rape) when I was in college. At that time, that was the most explicit scene I had ever seen. That was soon followed by seeing The Howling, with the scene we have so admired here.

It was INCREDIBLE, for once I had found some tapes that were not only as good as what they claimed to be on the internet, but actually exceeded their descriptions and screen captures. I really liked it. Very high quality animation, very sexy scenarios, a little bit of bondage + sex. Nice interview with the animators. Also probably something your female friends would enjoy, too.

The only downsides are the animations are not full length, but shorts, and a good portion of the non-interview portion of the DVD consists of a slide show of hundreds of still images, rather than animated art in motion.

Still, even with these minor faults, I thought the DVD worth it. I just like highly stylized, well-drawn sexual/sensual animation.

Okay, to really date me, my first exposure (that I recall) was a Batman comic. It was my older brother's and it was pre-60's vintage. It featured a certain bat-like fellow still popular today.

Acting was great on the male/female parts. Male was convincing as the irrate seller and captor/rapist. Female -- attractive, 75% effective is selling the rape, struggled well, made adequate noise at times. Worthy captive and nice body.

Overall production quality and camera work was excellent with little left for improvement. Setting at a nice home -- had a real feel to it.

Strongly recommend as a buy -- you would like to watch it over and over again as time goes by.

I would make primative clip tapes with my two VHS machines from movies I taped off late night Skinamax. That was very early, like 10 or 11.

Hmmm - well, it was around 1982 I think - back when I was 12. You see, I had this collection of girlie magazines, and found a section in Club magazine called "The Tether Report", which was a pulp paper secion with small B&W pictures - not big glossy color pages like the rest. Every Thursday I would look at the paper and see what was on at the drive-in and looking for something that might come close to these movies. I was too young to drive so I had to beg for ways to get there. Excuse the spelling, but some that I remember are SS She Wolf flicks, Poor Cecily, Barbara Broadcast, Maraschino Cherry. After seeing those movies I was hooked forever. Nice to have this forum to communicate with fellow pervs.

As for that Japanese video you recommended, I have that and have to agree, it's good and I'd also recommend it for breast bondage fans!

What got me started with all this were the serials like Perils of Nyoka, I may be off on the title. Some of the Tarzan movies come to mind, like Tarzan's Peril which has a woman tied between two stakes. Any movie with arms overhead or the spreadeagle position always caught my eye. Drive in's were a great resource. And then there was Roger Corman, who just knew how to do it. I think his Slaves in Cages is still my favorite. And thankfully, some are being redone on DVD. I also loved House of 1000 Dolls with the great Vincent Price. There were a couple of his movies that were just great. What a great voice.

I must say I don't like serious blood and gore. YUK! Welts are fine and of course a nice red butt is just glorious. The old Whipping Scenes in the Movies had numerous films that I was fortunate to have scene first hand. Hey vatos, I'm old and I was there.

I'll tell you what I used to buy, though. I used to go down to Waldenbooks and check out the True Crime section. I don't know how many of those paperbacks I bought, but I have titles like "Perfect Victim" (about Colleen Stan, who was tied up, tortured and imprisoned in a box for 7 years), "Roadside Prey" (about psycho who tied up and tortured female victims), "The Beauty Queen Killer" (about my favorite serial killer Christopher Wilder, who tied up and tortured beauty contestants...sensing a trend here?) and a compilation of true-life stories called "Torture Killers", about...you know what.

This was in the days before the Internet, probably before I had seen any ZFX vid, and this and certain mainstream scenes I would collect were my only stimulation material. The problem with the true crime books is that most handled the lurid aspects in a very cold, detached manner, not really exploiting the material like I wished they would. The main reason I wanted to get on the Internet in the first place was not for the pictures, but for the multitude of stories that I knew were out there online. And of course, I've found some juicy ones in the years I've been online. But before then, these books were about the closest I could find to the dark fantasies that I had.

For anyone looking for more GIMP material in the Lampoons, there are some nice bondage illustrations in the comic-book parody, "Cowgirls at War," from the National Lampoon Encyclopedia of Humor (recently reissued and available on amazon.com).

Also, there's a pretty good illustration of a wife who is bound and about to get a beating from her husband on the editorial page of the 1979 "Heterosexuality" issue, and some nice illustrations of women being raped in the comic book parody, "Hard-ons for Hitler," in the February 1978 Spring Fascism Preview issue.

What can I say? I loved the old Lampoons, and I still own some of the classics.

By the way, the "Hard-ons for Hitler" comic parody has a great line, when the American hero, Sgt. Nick Penis, is about to violate Ilse: She-Wolf of Stalag 13 (a woman who is much hotter looking in this comic than Dyanne Thorne). I'm copying my ZFX vhs's to dvd and will share some thoughts as I go through them. It certainly looks like they heyday of ZFX and Rick issuing several a year is over, at least for now but if you haven't seen the early work that first got my attention like Night Prowler, Southern Discomfort, The Van, Highway to Hell, Scene of the Crime and Misadventures of Lois Payne, do it! You have some incredible sights to see!

Thanks for the link on that SaveonAV site. The prices are certainly reasonable, and I found a few DVDs that look quite intriguing (naturally, they are from Attackers). Only problem with this site, as with most Japanese mail-order places, is that there are no descriptions of the movies, so you have to rely first on the title (which leads to a lot of fruitless searches) then the tiny images on the box to determine what the content is. It would be nice if they had a keyword search feature like what Video Mayhem offers, so you if you want "rape" or "torture" or "bondage", it would automatically direct you to the right videos.

What did you order, and were they any good? That's one of the purposes of this forum, for readers to discuss or review what they see and let us know what's good (or not).

I agree, lots of good ZFX titles you mentioned, most of which I would recommend, even though I haven't seen some of them in nearly a decade. Some great footage there that a lot of GIMPers aren't aware of, simply because some the titles aren't yet on DVD. We never hear from Rick anymore, but he's quietly updating the ZFX library for a new generation of pervs.

I never got a chance to respond to a previous thread about the types of models you use. Personally, I like a variety between the gorgeous actresses and the more real looking flawed beauties.

I'm curious what hardware/software you are using and how successful your VHS to DVD conversions are working. I have tried a few different software programs and the best I have found is TMPGEnc but even using that if I try to convert more than 30 minutes or so of a movie the sound and picture start getting out of sync.

I have a lot of old videotapes I would like to convert to DVD, sorry to re-raise an old topic but if anyone has suggestions, thanks.

My 2 cents, go and buy a good A/D converter for your movies, so that's the main problem. Firms like Canopus, Aurora, Black Magic, etc. do a very good job. Don´t buy these cheap 50 $ boxes.

Well, it turns out they don't have it after all, so they are issuing a refund on my credit card. Meanwhile, I can't seem to find it anywhere else. Major suckage.

The scene you mentioned actually came out first in a flick called "Dueling Masters". I think it is directed by Ernest Greene, and is from that LBO (? I think - I saw it on VHS) company that does all those consensual 'slave-master' flicks. The story line is two competing "masters" show off how mean they can be to their various 'slaves' (including Summer Cummings, who should also have been suspended and tit-whipped, but wasn't).

Apart from some minor tit-slapping w/ a small paddle, that suspension scene is about the only major highlight of "Dueling Masters", and the best of the scene is in the preview. You're not missing much. The scene would be about 10 years old by now. If you really want the scene, 'Dueling Masters" should be available somewhere.

I rented this movie after enjoying "Kill The Scream Queen." The short version: fans of this forum will probably not much care for it.

The film features a similar basic format from our perspective as "Kill The Scream Queen." Hot babes are stripped to their panties and put in peril. Good so far. But that's where the similarity ends.

This movie is about a whackjob with a messiah complex. Throughout the movie the villain (who it turns out is also a victim himself) keeps dictating his rambling and self-centered idealogical babble to a captive girl, who writes it all down as a "new bible." We then see the odd shot of girls tied in unconvincing manner to some rather flimsy-looking crosses in the woods. some of the girls look very good, but there isn't much going on. Weak struggles, tired looks, that sort of thing.

Both the villain and his enslaved stenographer wear skull masks throughout the movie, so it is only at the end that we really get to see any real emotion out of her. This is a pity, since there are some moments there that could have been real winners, like when the divine one suggests that maybe by having a child with the stenographer (whom he believes to be the reincarnation of Mary Magdelaine) he can regain his power, she perks her head right up. A horrified expression would have done wonders there. There is also one scene after her mask is removed where she is tied with hands over her head and made to hop from side to side in slow-motion. I kind of enjoyed that bit as well.

At the end of the day is a story of manipulation and murder, but frankly, by the end I did not have enough invested in the movie to care. Maybe a little more building action as the movie went would have worked better. As was, the reality around the reborn one was vague enough that I just assumed he was hallucinating most of what he saw. I was half-right, anyway.

As a horror movie, this one is straight-to-cable. As a bondage movie it isn't on the radar. As a murder mystery it doesn't click either. It may just be me, but the movie never really seemed to connect. One star from me.

Count Rushmore: As far as changing the name of the forum, we're called "Bring Out the GIMP (Girls In Merciless Peril)" which doesn't even mention ZFX, so I don't see a reason to change it. But I see what you mean. This board started off mainly as a ZFX discussion board, but it's difficult to keep up ZFX talk when ZFX itself is basically inactive for 11 months out of the year, and the creator doesn't really pop his head up out of the ground anymore to help promote it. It wasn't like that in the early years of the board. Rick used to post here a lot.

But some years back..I can't pinpoint exactly when...Rick ceased to be an active member of this forum and now he mainly uses it only for promotion. Seeing how he only puts out one new title a year now, we're lucky to hear from him 3 or 4 times in a year.

Why he wouldn't want to have interaction with the people who pay for his livelihood is bewildering to me. Whether it's wanting to lay low and just do his work, or an overall sense of reclusiveness, or perhaps even apathy for his fans (?)...I really can't say. What's frustrating to me, and to the other readers, is that sometimes questions and comments are directed toward him, but most of the time, they go unanswered. I've told him that the way to help build up fan support is to swap feedback from the people who buy his products. It gives them hope that they might even have some input in future ZFX projects. It also helps people build up an excitement toward upcoming releases. Heck, even if he were to set aside an extra 10 minutes to post here once a month, that would be a positive gesture. I don't think it's too much to ask.

Personally, I like Rick. Not only do I have a huge respect for his work, I think he's very intelligent and well-spoken, and his political leanings are exactly like mine, for probably many of the same reasons. We're both anti-censorship and pro-personal freedom. My opinion is that he's pretty guarded in his personal life and probably doesn't want to disclose too much to the public, and maybe that's why he stays away from posting here. I really can't make any excuses for him. If it were me, I would be more than glad to interact with my fans. But I'm not Rick and I don't know what goes on in his mind.

The good thing is that he (usually) answers my e-mails, and allows me to act as his mouthpiece and quote him on occasion. The latest I've heard was the same old story, working on DVD transfers. He did say that when he had something new to report, that he will post it here. I was pretty much a ZFX-only fan for years and also bought much less often material from other studios like Close Up Concepts and Cal Star. I completed my classic collection of HOM vids years ago. After I saw one, I was hooked and they are by far, still the best to me.

I think since that view has not changed with me for years now I know why: the woman were 'natural'--no trimmed bushes, usually small but real breasts, no contrived settings, usually dark or rough locations and the fact there was no dialogue forced me to put words and sounds in the picture. I bought a dvd-vhs dual unit with multiple dubbing and editing capes and all I do is simply play the vhs in my tv set that also has the a dual deck and record it on dvd on dvd-rw mode so I can edit, bookmark and erase if needed. Nothing fancy but it works for me.

I'm actually very disappointed with dvd. I actually find it more bothersome to forward through and record than vhs! And the multiple recording or playback modes is ridiculous. I also can't see a dramatic difference in video quality but then again, I like my adult entertainment rough and dirty like those HOM loops!

So CDUniverse finally came through and I got War Victims 3. As promised, here is my review.

War Victims is ZFX-like in nature. While ZFX films are better about story and plot though, I think War Victims has a clearer picture, the victims are not always gagged (good in my book) and...well...better whipping sounds. I also never liked Rick's style of taping all kinds of crap to the victim. Two victims here, both blonde and both with big breasts. Breast fans will be happy with this.

The first victim starts out tied AOH in panties and a ragged tube top. The tormentor takes his time cutting them off. Then he whips her. Whipping is similar, but as good or better than ZFX quality. Fake sounds and fake blood, but good enough to make a good show. Next scene she is gagged, breasts bound with crotchrope. More spanking and whipping. She is then bent over so that her breasts hang over a BBQ grill with a light in it. Not very convincing but his heart is in the right place. Next she is retied AOH, clothpins applied to her nipples and more whipping. He then unties her, sits her in a chair and forces her to put some kind of cactus looking thing up her pussy - good scene. He mauls her tits while shes holding it in. After that he has her suck him off using a face dick, but one that squirts fake come.

Next victim is the nurse. Not a demure girl next door nurse. More of a slutty stripper in a nurse costume. This one spends most of the time gagged. He cuts off her uniform and when the uniform is mostly off, some dumb motherfucker decides to turn on a bright light focused on her crotch. The light overexposes the film effectively hiding it. Thankfully the light is turned off for the whipping. There is a stool with a large dildo sticking out of it positioned right below her. After the whipping, he forces her down onto it. Unfortunately it is black, like the background, so the shot isn't what it could be. He whips her while shes on it, and we get to enjoy that for only a very short time be fore the dumb motherfucker turns the fucking light back on. Lots of whipping follows, someof it spoiled by that light. Next he takes barbed wire wire and ties it around her breasts along with a leather strap through her crotch. More whipping and they finally move the camera and fix the lighting. The whipping starts back up but for most of the whipping her head is cut from view - we don't get to see her expression.

Once my movies have arrived and been reviewed, I will probably solicit some advice from GIMPers for future orders. I kind of liked one of the movies that talked about a rape being performed in front of the victim's captive husband (I think it was one of those Attackers movies that I have never seen). However, I have an open mind on this....

As for the "Best of..." idea, I think it's a good one. I would think the best of Lisa Kinkaid and Chandra Sweet would definitely be bestsellers, and some of the others have potential.

I guess the risk in some "Best of..." compilations is that the actress has to have a large fan base. And tastes can vary. For example, I may be the only one who feels this way, but Victoria Vixen hasn't done much for me in the few movies I have seen her in.

On an unrelated note -- and I don't know why I should care about this, other than curiosity -- I have no idea which character Mad Dog played in the South of the Border movies. If anyone can point to a particular scene in SOB 4 or 5, I guess that would clear up this mystery.

By the way, Underground Video has an impressive and intriguing catalog : titles like "58 Bridge St." might be interesting..Oh and they also carry Whitman's Erotic Perversions under the title "Beyond Erotic Perversion".

Expectations for this one were pretty low -- still, this movie was worse than expected.

Basically, the movie tries to be one of those high-art things, in the tradition of Andrew Blake and Michael Ninn, which means we get lots of soft-focus shots, black-and-white snippets, sounds that echo, etc.

The story has porn superstar Jenna Jameson writing in her diary about her entry into the world of bondage. As she explains it, sometimes she's the mistress, sometimes she's the slave. Almost always, she's a bore. There are different scenes of consensual spankings, whippings with a crop, etc., and some lesbian action is occasionally added to the mix. But it's all quite sterile and quite dull.

In my view, there's only one scene of note. That's the one where blonde beauty Ava Vincent is tied arms over head to the roof. She's wearing a blue latex corset with holes cut out for her nipples, and she's being tortured by a brunette (I don't know who this was). It's consensual, but the brunette gives Ava a whipping that's occasionally effective -- particularly when Ava is getting her ass whipped. Ava has a way of whimpering and squirming that worked pretty well.

Otherwise, this thing's a dud. Overall: not recommended.

This one starts out great and maintains the momentum for a while. But things go downhill about halfway through the movie, and the latter half is a big disappointment -- pretty much ruining the total effect.

The story is about two young women -- a brunette and a woman with dyed red hair -- walking outdoors when they come across a shack and this bizarre Charles Manson-type fellow. The young women are looking for booze, but he offers them his own type of drink. As they get hazy, he talks about the problems these days with the religious right and mainstream society. Then he offers up his solution. He says he is Jesus Christ and is going to start his own war against society. He wants the two women to use sex to help him recruit his army.

Despite the effects of the drink, the women want to leave and start walking away. But the Manson dude pulls out a rifle and forces them to bow down on the ground. He puts his foot on the back of the neck of the brunette, points his rifle at her head, and threatens them both.

Next, we see them being tied up with ropes to posts in the freak's shed. Slowly, he takes off their clothes, intermittently threatening them with a knife.

This is probably the best scene in the movie -- the slow stripping and harassment of the bound women works very well. The brunette (Krissy) was wearing a striped halter top, cut-off jean shorts, and black boots, while the redhead (Brandy) was wearing a black tube top, a jean skirt, and black boots. Both women have too many tattoos, and Krissy also has nipple rings and a ring in her lower lip. However, Brandy (the redhead) is attractive, in a soft-skinned kind of way, despite the tattoos. Though they both struggle and complain, the women are eventually stripped down to just their panties and boots.

The next scene is also nice -- both women are hanging upside down from a tree, that has a tree fort in it. Brandy's feet are tied to one of the tree branches, and her hands are tied together, while Krissy is hanging upside down from the ladder to the tree fort, with her feet tied to the ladder. Both women are still wearing their panties and boots, which they will wear for the rest of the movie.

The villain arrives with a hose and sprays them with cold water, forcing them to call him their leader and their god. He then lightly whips them with a tree branch, then sprays them with more cold water.

The next scene that follows is also pretty good, with Krissy -- tattoos, piercings, and all -- tied by her hands and feet to two trees (reminded me a bit of Bill Zebub's Crucifier), and receiving a good whipping. She struggles well and this scene was OK.

However, the movie then falls completely flat. There are various whipping scenes, including one where the women are forced to take turns whipping each other, but they are all soft whippings and are essentially useless. Eventually, we find the two women seated back to back, with their hands bound together to a tree branch and the feet of each woman tied up. Brandy manages to get one of her hands free, and she unties them and they escape.

Overall: Not recommended. I loved how this movie started, but it never lived up to its early potential. On the bright side, it is all outdoors, so you don't get the phony sets that you would normally find in a Bon-Vue movie.

DD02: Dark Penance

This was my first Dave Darke movie, although his movies are similar to the Dan Hawke movies. Generally, while I found it a bit hit and miss, I generally liked this one.

As fans of these types of movies would know, it begins with Dave bringing a fully dressed victim into his dungeon and tying her to the roof. In this case, the victim is Sasha Sparks, a tall woman with long legs, a nice body, big tits, streaked hair and expressive eyes. She is wearing a dress that is mostly black, except it is white at the top area around her breasts. She is wearing a matching white vest and is also wearing black nylons and shoes.

Dave ties a bar gag into her mouth and then slowly but surely strips off her clothes, using a knife to cut off her bra and her panties. She is eventually stripped down to just her black nylons and shoes, and looks really sexy here. Throughout this scene, he feels up her body, including her tits and pussy.

She then receives a light whipping -- nothing special here.

The next scene was quite good. Dave brings Sasha back into the room with her arms in a leather armbinder behind her back, her feet chained together, her knees bound together, a ball gag in her mouth and a spiked ball dangling on a chain linked to a collar around her neck. She is still wearing the black nylons and shoes. Dave feels up her tits and pussy again and then plays with the spiked ball, bouncing it against her tits and her body.

He ties her armbinder to a chain linked to the roof, and then uses a riding crop to spank her ass. She is crying and squirming as Dave asks her if she has learned her lesson -- this is probably the best scene in the movie.

We then go to a scene with a redhead (Claire Adams) bound to a board that is at a 45-degree angle, with her legs tied apart and her hands tied above her. She is ball-gagged and Dave uses some cords to tie her pussy lips open (using some piercings that were already there) and puts a bizarre clamp device on her tits. This scene is probably an acquired taste -- I wasn't much into it.

We then find Sasha and Claire each seated naked on a wooden horse that is suspended in the air by chains linked to the roof. Each woman is wearing long red latex gloves and black nylons, and each has her hands cuffed and her mouth ball-gagged. They are linked by chains to the chains holding the wooden horse. Dave links chains from the floor to each woman's feet, and they are left to squirm there.

The movie finishes with a blond woman, Petal Benson, who is bound by ropes into in a kneeling position on a wooden crate. Her arms are tied behind her at the wrists and elbows, and her tits are tightly bound. She is also wearing long red gloves and black nylons and is pretty hot looking, except she has a ton of tattoos on her right hip area. Apart from playing with her tits and some tugging at a rope that is strung through her pussy, she is mostly left to squirm in her position. At one point, she begs Dave to set her free. Of course, he refuses.

Overall: Recommended. The opening scenes with Sasha Sparks are particularly good, and I really liked the scene where her butt gets spanked with the riding crop.

I have seen the work with Brandy Dean, breast bondage don't get any sweeter...no matter how time has passed.

I'm not surprised the Jenna Jameson bondage film sucked...all indications were that it was going to be lightweight. The very title "Jenna Loves Pain" was a dead giveaway from the start. The whole idea behind consensual bondage is ridiculous to me, but that's mostly what you get from US producers anymore, kissy-face crap. That's why the 1970s Golden Age bondage, the Cole loops and early HOM stuff is so revered by a percentage of the public, because that's what bondage should be. It's supposed to be politically incorrect; that's how you can tell you're doing it right.

I think I agree with this statement, but amended to read "THE BEST" - I think that movie has been the source of more bags of cheetos for me than any other single ZFX movie. That's what I figured, too. Rick is older now, and he's probably made a small fortune off his past work. He can retire on the revenues off all those older movies. I don't expect we'll see anything new except for previously shot footage. That's probably why he hasn't posted, because he probably hasn't shot anything for years and has nothing new to report.

Unlike Gonzo, I actually preferred the second scene with the slutty-looking nurse. I thought she looked pretty hot in her opening moments in her uniform, and I also liked her body better. It is true that there is some bad lighting at times, and the picture is occasionally out of focus, but somehow I felt that actually added to the underground feel of the whole thing.

The movie isn't ZFX quality, but it's better than a lot of what's out there.

I took a look at The Crucifier, which was Bill Zebub's "other" film with bondage, and this one left me pretty cold. As a movie, it's at once pretentious and boring, and tries to go for a creepy atmosphere instead of a real story, but succeeds only in being a tedious mess. That part I could live with if it didn't also drop the ball with the bondage aspect, but it failed there, too.

It wasn't because of his casting, since many of the Scream Queen chicks are in this one, and even some attractive new faces, but they're all pretty much wasted. The beautiful Kerri Taylor is topless, bound and gagged in all of her scenes, but you almost wouldn't know about the gag part because Zebub makes her wear a face-covering mask for nearly the entire time! Why deprive us of seeing her face, especially when she's gagged? That's a big mistake in my book.

The only part that gave me hope was near the end, when the mask is removed and she is tied arms over head to a beam on the ceiling and used as target practice by a guy throwing stones. But even that was poorly done, badly edited so that it was obvious she was not in any kind of danger. We see the stones hit the wall and not even come close to hitting her, but then there's a cut and suddenly she has all these bloody spots on her body. Hello, we missed something there, Bill!

The rest of the women, either topless or else very scantily clad, are all tied to crosses. None of them are gagged, but then there's no screaming, no struggling, no cries for help of any kind (in fact, no live sound at all in any of their scenes, another miscue). They simply stand out there like mannequins (albeit pretty cute ones). So while it's nice to see more naked skin, the fact that there's no distress makes them just wasted eye candy.

Since Zebub is making another horror film that is supposed to incorporate more bondage, it should be interesting to see if he takes the exploitative approach of Scream Queen (a very good thing) or goes for more of an atmospheric art film like this earlier effort. You've got to have more than just attractive models, Bill. You have to know what to do with them, too.

As for War Victims 3, I think the version that I found was a pirated copy -- it was actually pretty cheap. I agree with those who are concerned about the price. The movie is good, at times, but it's not great. I like the Japanese movies better.

Howie: I'm the same way about fast-forwarding to get to the good stuff, especially with Japanese movies. I figure I can't understand the language anyway, and I can usually guess what it happening plot-wise while in the fast-forward mode. However, if I'm going to give an actual review to a film, I think it's only fair to watch it in its entirety. Thus, I've seen every ZFX movie from start to finish, every Dan Hawke film, every Japanese film that I have reviewed I actually watched from beginning to end. In the case of Scream Queen, I started fast-forwarding initially and liked what I saw so much that I went back and watched the whole thing and decided to review it.

That's one reason why I'm selective in writing reviews, because I don't want to force myself to watch dreck, then watch parts of it again when I'm writing my review. That's torture to me, and I only like to see women tortured, not myself.

In the case of The Crucifier, I wanted to give Bill a fair shake, since I liked Scream Queen so much. So I decided to be fair and rate the film as a movie, and you can't really be accurate if you don't actually watch it.

Scribbler: There's a woman named Chelsea who has made several films where she gets raped, and at least one where she also gets whipped. That title was Whipped and Ass Raped (link above). It's actually not bad, although it was one of those cheapo jobs where the villain is also the cameraman, so he just sets up the camera and then does his deed (and amazingly even zooms in for a close up with a remote control while he is raping her!). So there's one, at least.

SnakeEyes: Boy, I hope that's just a cruel rumor. No bondage from Rick? Sacrilege!

'Kimberley, Princess of Pain' may qualify. It's a little bit consensual, but not completely so.

Anywho, we can debate opinions till we're all blue in the face, but I think you need to take into account the perspective I'm coming from. Is this a great movie? Holy shit no, but have a paid WAY more for other flicks that were even worse? You bet. If you read my actual review, I preface the whole thing with an entire paragraph talking about how cheap the flick is. I also say I was bored by all but two of the women in it, sort of repulsed by one, and one of the good looking girls doesn't even get naked, so I would exactly say that's a ringing endorsement, only that for the price of a supersized Whopper Meal, with an extra Whopper of course (^_^), I found it to be ok with the fast forward button in heavy usage.

If the movie would have even been double at $15.00 - $17.00 it would be a total rip off, but I think you have to keep this stuff in perspective. That's why ZFX movies cost an arm and a leg, because they're worth it. : )

By the way, where did you get your copy of War Victims from? The only place that has them in stock right now is selling them for like $34.00 a pop before shipping.

For those of you in U.S., tonight, Thursday evening at 10 eastern time, a new show called Criminal Minds is on CBS TV Network.

It's causing a stir because of it graphic treatment of crimes involving women. In fact its being called by many 'sexploitation' or 'exploitation.' The opening has a woman in a cage blindfolded and punished.

Sounds routine here on the GIMP board! LOL.

BUT, I find it incredibly hypocritical, I mean SERIOUSLY hypocritical that ADULT entertainment and then fetishes like we enjoy within adult entertainment/erotica is called porn or illegal and is subject to harrassment and possible censorship by government--all levels, not just Feds. And YET, CBS can make $$$ selling commercials for a show WE HERE would like (some scenes) and its OK because its just network tv entertainment!

Something is criminal about gruesome 'Minds' By Robert Bianco, USA TODAY

There are minds I don't want to penetrate, crimes I don't want to see.And I've seen more than enough of them on TV to last a lifetime. You can choose for yourself what's most revolting about Criminal Minds, a Wednesday night series that CBS has deemed worthy of Thursday's greater exposure for its premiere.

Perhaps it's the signature scene: a caged woman, duct tape on her eyes, crying, screaming, struggling, as the killer clips her already bloody nails to stop her from scratching at her blindfold. Or perhaps it's the plot itself, which plays like a how-to guide for sexual predators.

Obviously, Criminal will find new crimes to explore in the future and equally gruesome ways to kill. (The next episode opens with a boy being burned to death.) But shows such as this are designed to sell on their first assault — and lately, the victim is always a woman. That's where these shows compete, as they struggle to find new, ever more disgusting forms of abuse.

This is appropriate prime-time entertainment? And all this so CBS can launch a patently phony "profiler" procedural, one of those shows that turns investigative work into hocus-pocus, mind-reading nonsense. Watch the cop lie in bed and pretend to be the murderer! Yeah, that will work.

It might at least be some small comfort if a show this bad were as bad as the season gets, but I'm afraid it's not. There's an equally ugly and even more inept show coming your way Friday, Fox's Killer Instinct. But really, once you plummet below a certain level, trash is trash, and gradations become virtually meaningless. The only fix is a quick cancellation followed by an apology from all concerned.

CBS, Fox dramas try to stand out by exploiting twisted crimes against women

It's open season for sick crimes against women in a couple of new dramas.

A woman responding to an auto-for-sale ad winds up kidnapped and locked in a cage on an abandoned cargo ship in Criminal Minds, which has a sneak preview tonight on CBS before settling into a 9 p.m. eastern Wednesday time slot. Her abductor has a video camera rigged so he can watch her writhe in terror before he rapes and murders her.

Killer Instinct takes an even lower road. The female victims in the pilot of the Fox series, which premieres Friday, are incapacitated while they sleep by the bite of exotic spiders, released under their doors by a pervert. Once they are unable to resist, he sexually assaults and kills them.

There are cosmetic differences between the two series: the casts and characters, of course; their specific jobs and the locales. But they are essentially the same show.

Even the network-provided descriptions of the shows unwittingly reveal their grotesque similarity: their striking, and objectionable, exploitation of atrocities against women. The experts in Criminal Minds, CBS writes, "analyze the country's most twisted minds."

The Fox press kit for Killer Instinct says the series "details the chilling stories behind the bizarre and deviant crimes committed by San Francisco's most aberrant criminals."

The explanation is simple. With the glut of police procedural dramas around the dial, it's more of a challenge to break out from the pack, especially for new series. The easiest way to do it is to venture into the salacious.

Mark Gordon, an executive producer of Criminal Minds, resorted to sarcasm when asked about this. "There was actually a mandate from the network saying we want only shows that perpetrate violence against women," he said. But he concluded with a nugget of truth. "We're just trying to get on the air."

The pilot of another rookie CBS series, Close to Home, revolves around a controlling husband who maintains a dungeon-like facility where he locks his wife to keep her from leaving the house with their children.

Not only are Criminal Minds and Killer Instinct remarkably similar, but also their rationalizations for the twisted-crimes-against-women story lines are practically in lockstep.

"These are based on real crimes," Gordon said.

Josh Berman, creator of Killer Instinct, said, "Having written this genre for a while and done a lot of research and having spoken with a lot of experts in the field, unfortunately in our society, most of these types of crimes are created against young women and the elderly. I think, as writers, we try as much as we can to reflect truth."

Apparently the truth about crimes against the elderly isn't as marketable as the truth about crimes against sexy young women.

As for the Crucifier, we may actually be in agreement, up to a point. Your comment about whether the movie being a "total rip off" at $17 is valid. In my case, that is close to what I paid. I wasn't able to buy the movie dirt cheap the way many of you in the U.S. did and ended up forking out almost $20 U.S. for the Crucifier. And that's the standard I hold it to.

I should add that my initial comment after I saw the movie was that I agreed with your review. So I think our only current point of disagreement is whether the FF button helps -- I'm not so sure it does. At least, not when you paid $20 for the movie.

I even wrote to Entertainment Weekly myself, hoping to get it published in their Mail section. They chose not to run it, but since we have this nifty forum, I'll share it with the rest of you.

"Jennifer Armstrong's condescending, feminist attempt to single out only the shows that feature women as being portrayed as victims shows a huge double standard. Shows like "24" regularly feature men in graphically violent scenes, but no one seems to have any problem with that.

Serial killer dramas have been especially popular for quite a while, and the "damsel in distress" theme has been around as long as media has been produced. All the producers are doing is taking it one step further to add a touch of realism to their dramas. So sorry if Ms. Armstrong thinks women in danger is no longer politically correct. There's obviously an audience for shows like this, or else they wouldn't continue to be produced."

Anyway, I just saw "Criminal Minds" and ultimately, it was a big tease. The victim was attractive, but all that really happened to her was she was locked in a cage (with a barely visible chain around her neck). She was cleave gagged and had duct tape over her eyes, but her hands were totally free! How stupid can you get? The worst thing that happens to her is she attempts to remove her blindfold (why not, her hands were free), so the killer clips her nails. That's it. And there would have been no need for that if she had been properly tied up in the first place.

Maybe FOX will live up to its rep and the show tonight will be far more graphic.

I have been trying for months to resolve that audio-video synchronization problem when converting VCR tapes to DVD. I have a lot of old tapes that have never been (and may never be) sold as DVDs.

I have tried every kind of software you can imagine, which at least was a good learning experience on the s/w side of things. But I never imagined the problem was crappy hardware.

Your suggestion for the ADVC 100 was spot on. (Actually, now Canopus is selling a newer model, the ADVC110, which is what I bought.) Yeah, it's expensive (about $230 bucks) but it worked like a charm on the first try.

I greatly appreciate your advice.

Industrial Spy

Stars: Jyuri Wakabayashi and Yuna Akarino

This movie is flawed, at times, but it is saved by its beautiful star, Jyuri Wakabayashi. She is hot -- she has a bit of a wide face but is still gorgeous. Jyuri has a lithe body and nice, natural tits. She has a small tattoo near her left shoulder blade, but it's no distraction. As a victim, Jyuri knows how to perform. Simply put, she is great.

The movie, on the other hand, is well photographed and quite good at times, but it stops short of being a classic. That's mostly due to some flaws that I will describe throughout the review.

The story is about a masseuse who also doubles as a secret spy. When we first see Jyuri, she is in her civilian clothes -- a light blue skirt, a plaid brown blouse and wearing sunglasses. Nothing happens to her in this attire, but she does look sharp as a civilian.

She looks even better as the spy. About 15 minutes into the movie, she gets down to work, stealing a micro-chip of some sort from an evil organization (I assumed they were evil -- the men all wore dark sunglasses). As the spy, she is decked out in black -- wearing a black vinyl jacket, a small black vinyl tube top, a black skirt, black cut-off gloves, netted black nylons and black boots (see the cover photo).

After stealing the microchip and putting it into one of her boots, she is confronted in what looks like a boiler room by the evil boss and five of his henchmen. A fight ensues and Jyuri kicks the crap out of the henchmen, but she is eventually felled (thank goodness) by the boss, who shoots a blow dart into her neck. She collapses into a squatted position on the floor.

Shivering and with a helpless look on her face, Jyuri is still squatted on the floor when the five henchmen kneel down beside her and start feeling her up. They then pick her up and take her away to another room, where she is thrown down onto a bed with just a bare mattress on it.

With Jyuri on her back on the bed, the men grab her arms and legs and pull her apart in a spread-eagled position. Unfortunately, they don't tie her up. As she continues to be held down, the gang's boss gives Jyuri's body a full search. That includes opening her jacket, pulling down her tube top and ripping open her nylons.

After pulling off her boots and finding the microchip, he begins to have his way with her. He sucks on her tits and then fingers her until she cums on his fingers, which he then sticks in her mouth. He also fingers her ass. Jyuri is breathing heavily and whimpering throughout, and I loved her as a victim. That heavy breathing was just great.

Unfortunately, the men don't always have her pinned down particularly well -- occasionally one of her arms is free, without anyone holding it. Although she is presumably helpless because of the serum from the blow dart, I would still like to have seen her pinned down better.

The same problem continues as Jyuri is raped in various ways. First, she is forced to suck the boss man, who deep throats her to the point she has to gag and cough. He then fucks her in various positions (missionary, doggie, reverse cowgirl) and eventually a nice load is shot on her face. At times, the men are holding her down, and the rape scenes are effective. At other times, she is not being held down quite so well, and the scenes are less effective.

After the rape, a new gang arrives and shoots the henchmen dead. Jyuri gets up from the bed but collapses. We then find her tied up outside a jail cell, with her hands bound in front of her and tied to the roof. Jyuri is wearing most of her clothes (somehow, her nylons are no longer ripped) and the new gang uses electric devices to shoot charges into her. Unfortunately, while Jyuri squirms and cries quite well, there are no sound effects to support the zappings, and the whole thing is less than great.

In the next scene, the gang goes to Jyuri's workplace to capture her co-worker, big-titted Yuna Akarino. Yuna is raped at knifepoint in a fairly standard scene. Regrettably, Yuna is no beauty, and this didn't do much for me, although I will say she deep throats quite well (that's clear in spite of the pixelation). I did like the way the crying Yuna was dragged out of the room by her arms after the rape was over.

It's then back to Jyuri, who is tied down (yes!) face first to a bed in the jail cell. She is completely topless, wearing only her nylons, panties, boots and her gloves. A gang member is sent in to her cell and he starts feeling her up, causing her to squirm and moan. He then rips open her nylons, attachs electrodes to her ass, and shocks her again. Once again, nice crying, but no electrode sound effects.

The gang member then brings in two buddies for a gang rape. But, idiot that he is, he unties her (dammit!) and she overpowers them. As she prepares to escape from the jail cell, her captured colleague (Yuna) is brought into the room with the gang leader holding a knife to her throat. Yuna is wearing a bra, panties, open blouse, and is gagged by a black cloth. Inside the cell, Jyuri is thrown back on the bed, and Yuna is then bound to the front of the cell by her hands behind her head. Yuna then gets the electro-shock treatment -- again, with no sound effects.

With Yuna still bound outside the cell and threatened by the gang leader and his knife, beautiful Jyuri (who is still in the jail cell) is forced to give in to the gang's sexual demands. She sucks off two of the men, with some loud slurping noises at times. All of the remaining clothes (except the gloves) are stripped off her nice, lithe body, and she is fucked in various positions.

There's a wonderful shot here where Jyuri looks mournfully outside the cell at her captured friend before agreeing to climb on top of a gang member and ride him cowgirl style. The fucking also has missionary and doggie and includes some french kissing and licking of Jyuri's face. The scene ends with another pop shot to her face.

At the end, Yuna is brought into the cell with Jyuri and thrown onto the bed beside Jyuri. The two women hug each other for support, but the cell is soon filled by six gang members, who pull them apart. While the two women continue to hold hands, the six men feel up the two crying victims. Clearly, a gang rape is in the works, but we can only imagine it. The scene fades to black and goes into the closing credits.

Overall assessment: Highly recommended. Yeah, I know, I criticized elements of the movie throughout the review. And I admit, the movie should have been better. But even as it is, that Jyuri Wakabayashi is smoking hot and a darn fine victim. At the price that SaveonAV.com is charging, this movie is worth it.

While I agree with many of your points, I would vote thumbs down on this one because IMO, the movie blew it on the important levels. Jyuri Wakabayashi is flat out gorgeous, but she should have been tied down during the rape, which went on too long anyway and eventually looked consensual to me. Whenever the girl gets on top and starts grinding down on the attacker, it loses credibility to me that she's really being raped. And that scene went on for a good 15 minutes, so it seemed like a normal sex scene that really didn't belong there. I got bored.

But what really spoiled it for me were the electric shock scenes. I don't know what they were trying to use, but they looked like curling irons to me! I didn't believe they were shocking her for a second. Maybe I've been too spoiled by Rick's later work, and maybe my standards are too high, but the illusion was blown for me when I saw what they were using. She gave it her best shot, though.

Actually, they could have used the curling irons to better effect if they had just plugged them in and tortured her that way, with heat. That might have worked better. One of my favorite scenes in a ZFX movie was in Seed, when Lisa Kinkaid was tied to the bed and Penelope Pace uses a curling iron against her skin as a torture device. I linked a still from that above.

So anyway, getting back to this movie, the first and third shock scenes didn't work for me, and the second, with the electro pads on her ass, at least looked real, but I would have preferred to see her tied face up so we could have seen her reactions. And shocking someone's ass doesn't do much for me, anyway. On her tits would have been better.

So those were my objections. The movie looks great; it's obvious they spent some money there. But I was disappointed a film with 3 electric shock scenes and a lady this hot didn't do it for me. I was surprised, too.

I'd like to see someone else check this one out and get his opinion. Certainly, the price is right if you want to take a chance.

The difference, I guess, is that I still enjoyed watching her as a victim. As I said in my review, I loved the heavy breathing and the whimpering.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for a pretty face.

I watched my second SaveonAV.com film this evening and will post a review on Sunday. Sadly, there's not much to worry about in terms of pretty faces in this next one....

Gang Rape Play

Starring: Kaori Fujimori and Hana Matsuzawa

While I have enjoyed some of the Japanese movies about spys and super agents who are over-powered by rapists, I didn't much care for this one. The women are nothing special here and the so-called rapes look much too consensual, even by my standards.

The story is about two women who try to overtake a gang, but are captured instead and put through the paces. Up first is Hana Matsuzawa, who is seen spying outside the home of some of the villains. She's wearing a black vinyl halter top, black skirt, black fishnet stockings and black boots. With her bobbed hairdo and slender body, Hana is cute and kinda sexy, but nothing special.

Her spy caper doesn't go too well. She is captured by the gang and brought into the house. After a brief moment where two men have her pinned to the floor and are feeling her up, she is tied to a post in the house. Her hands are tied behind her head and behind the post, and her arms are also tied to the post.

She is tormented by a single villain, who lifts her halter top up and pulls her skirt down to her feet. Her stockings and panties are pulled up and down to various lengths, generally sitting below her knees. The villain fingers Hana and then tortures her with vibrators.

Eventually, she is put into a new position on the floor, where one arm is still tied to the post and her other arm is bent so that her wrist is tied to her arm. The villain sticks a vibrator in her pussy and leaves her there to squirm and protest -- this bit was kinda neat.

She is then completely untied (???) and forced to give him sex -- she gets on her knees and sucks him, followed by fucking in various positions. It is only in the final part, when she is on the floor and being fucked in the missionary position, that it actually looks like she is being raped.

A second spy -- Kaori Fujimori -- shows up to try to rescue her, but she is also caught. Kaori is wearing a black vinyl jacket and white blouse, a black skirt, fishnet stockings and black boots. Kaori is tall and has a sexy, slender body, but her face is quite plain. The cover art for this movie suggests she is better looking than is actually the case.

Anyway, the two women find themselves in a caged lab area, surrounded by hoods and doctors. Hana has now been drugged and is freely submitting to the captors, while Kaori is protesting and wanting to save Hana.

I'm not sure what is said to Kaori to make this happen -- but as Hana is squatted on the floor and making out with a guy, Kaori gets up and does a slow, reluctant strip tease for the men. This scene is actually pretty hot.

Kaori then gives into the men. She sucks a few of them, and takes a big wad shot to her face from the first guy. She is then taken to a bed, where two men rape her. Unfortunately, she is never constrained. Meanwhile, the drugged-up Hana willingly submits to a gang bang at a nearby table.

We next find Kaori sitting in a chair, with her arms bound behind her by ropes. She is wearing an army-fatigue-colored tube top and short shorts. After some questioning, one of the villains gives her a harsh whipping from behind. Kaori does some great screaming and the whippings are believable. This should have been a stand-out scene, but there's one problem -- she clearly isn't bound to the chair. To me, the fact that she was free to get out of the chair ruined it.

After Kaori tricks one of the villains, she and Hana briefly escape. But Kaori is caught again and taken to a bedroom, where she is DP'd by two of the villains. Again, she isn't restrained.

In the end, Kaori escapes again, finds one of the men's machine guns, and is ready to blow away the gang members when the movie picture freezes for the closing credits.

Overall assessment: Not recommended. Other than a few little moments here and there, this movie is generally pretty dull. It's too bad. On the basis of one scene alone -- the whipping scene -- I would have recommended this movie if only Kaori had been properly restrained.

I am wondering if anyone has any specific suggestions -- either movies that you know to be good, or movies you haven't seen that you would like someone to check out.

I'm open to suggestions. I guess the only qualifier is that it has to be a movie that I can obtain from SaveonAV.com, since movie distributors from outside of Canada aren't an option for me.

I will likely place my order in the next few days, so please let me know if you have any ideas.

Even though Japan makes the best bondage films in the world, sometimes even they screw up when it comes to common basics. Tie the girls up! That's why it's called a BONDAGE film! To me, you've just got to have her tied during a rape or it loses something.

As far as ordering more, if I were ordering stuff for myself, I would start with the Attackers series first, particularly the later series (JBB-066 on up), and the Attackers RB series. I noticed SaveOnAV puts them in by their actual titles, rather than the easier to follow Attackers #79, Attackers #80, etc. method that Video Mayhem uses. So you have to look in the listing on the page...JBB-058 is Attackers #58, for instance.

The reason I like the Attackers vids is because they are unusually cruel with their wild tortures and suspension bondage. Attackers #79, which I got from Video Mayhem, is 90 minutes of great suffering by a pretty nurse, and you almost feel sorry for her as she gets put through the ringer. They have it at SaveOn as "Nightmare of Snake Hold". If I get inspired, I might review that for the board.

Of course, that's just what I like, and your tastes may be different. Only way you can really tell is by looking at the boxes and trying to decide that way.

Following up on what Ralphus posted (and also what I wrote a while back.) The Attackers DVD's are probably my all time favorites. They are now producing several series that are of interest to GIMPers everywhere.

Shark series (SHK):

"Shark Rape: " The Shark series is probably the most popular Rape JAV in Japan (at least it was judging by the store shelves several years ago) and with good reason. Generally good production values, including costumes, location shots and Japanese chicks getting raped! They've even gotten some big name JAV actresses to do a few (Aika Miura, Ran Asakawa, even Madoka Ozawa!). Bondage is more the exception than the rule, but it happens in some videos. Recently, they've even started to do anal rape and lesbian rape too.

A few notables:

• #59: Momo Suzuki's tied to a bed and raped. Later, with her arms bound behind her, she's raped in the ass.
• #63: My personal highlight is the middle scene, where Sally Yoshino's face-raped until her attacker unloads in her mouth.

• #196: I'm not a Ran Asakawa fan, but some people ar.e
• #200: Ditto Madoka Ozawa, but this one's notable, because this is was released shortly after she retired (I think that chronology is right)

Jyubaku series (JB):

"Snake Bondage: " Originally a sister series to SHK, the focus of this series started out almost solely on bondage with some light whipping or wax and sometimes digital/vibrator penetration or oral sex thrown in. Now they're doing more sex plus bondage. And of course nobody does rope bondage like the Japanese. Some notables:

• #05: Sanae Asoh is trained as a bondage slave.

• #07: Mao Misaki must endure 7 days of hell. Not as good as I hoped, and Mao doesn't look as good as she did a few years ago, but a very promising idea for a series.
• #09, #14, #19 ... : "Real World" Series.
I think this series is supposed to depict fictionalized/reenacted stories of real assaults.
• #04, #06, #10 ... : "Criminal Code" Series.
Not entirely sure of the plotlines, but it might be about women who are kidnapped, and raped into orgasm.(?!?)

Specials series (SSP):

"Specials: " Longer, more elaborate versions of the above. The early ones tended to be Shark-types, but it looks like they're branching out to doing Jyubaku stuff too. These seem to be harder to find in their uncut and unrecompressed form.

• #001, #005 are terrific vids with multiple women being raped each in their own scene and then all together in one last scene. Good stuff, but they need to do a one-girl and many many guys scene.

The major flaws of the series can be summed up briefly like so: Mosaic blurring of all genitalila. The plotlines are generally formulaic within a series. You see the same men over and over and over again. Some of the "sets" look like someone's basement.

By the way, you can find covers for the newer videos on the company websites. For example; you can try looking for the cover for Shark #63 by pointing your browser at http://www.attackers.net/works/-/detail/=/cid=SHK063/. For JB #60, replace SHK063 with JB060. In some cases you will have to append a "D" to the series code, like SHKD230. It'll take some trial and error. You might be able to get a gist for the video storyline from the copying the japanese language descriptions into the Altavista Translation web site, but machine translation works very poorly on Japanese to English.

You'll be able to find some nice big cover pictures of recent videos on their english language page. You apparently can even order from them from overseas, although the process looks complicated, expensive and not without customs risks (I've never tried).

I suppose I should work on a few reviews at some point ...

You seem to know a lot of Japanese S/M videos. I've tried for some years now to locate a video which is one missing film from the "FA"-series that are available at www.videomayhem.com (search for 'electric'). FA#562 and FA#17 are very hard prison torture videos, with electrotorture and rape and vibrator torture scenes, among other things. Very good stuff; perfect acting as well as good looking actresses and high quality photo.

Would you possibly know anything about how to get access to those other videos in the FA-series? And, how many more are there? There is at least one more, as I've seen a clip from it, a clip that is 26 secs long. Ralphus has posted a link to a vidcap from it a while ago.

I tried to put together a mix of choices, with women in different scenarios: office president, prisoner in jail, etc. I'm not into rope bondage to the same extent as many GIMPers, but I was tempted by Ralphus's description of "Nightmare of Snake Hold" and decided I better see this one.

Female Cameraman is in the mix because I thought Ramu Nagase looked really hot (see my URL link). And, of course, I wouldn't be true to my own nature if I didn't throw in another spy movie.

I can't say these will all get full reviews, but I'll share any interesting findings. Thank you again for the great feedback and ideas.

The movie is listed on IMDB, and Rotten Tomatoes and there all your standard, "I hated it because it was to violent and stupid" reviews that generally mean us gimpers will love it.

Fright Flix also have a movie called "Nutbag" they released a few years back. It's available in an "un-edited" form on the site as well. Once again, I've never seen either of these movies, so don't blame me if they suck. Just thought I'd put the word out for those who may be interested.

The trailer looks awfully bloody, although there were lots of snippets of women in various bondage scenes, including one hanging upside down, a favorite fetish of mine. And looking through the cast, there's a whole slew of very attractive women, including one I recognized, Smokin' Babe and bondage model Crissy Moran. It was hard to tell from the trailer if she's one of the girls who gets tied up, but guessing from her profession, she probably is.

I did buy Nutbag a few years back and it's one I would recommend. A couple of really nice bondage scenes, both of which end in stabbings, to warn the squeamish among you. The highlight was a real sweet-looking blonde who gets tied to a tree, gagged with black tape, stripped naked and stabbed in the pussy. A "clean" still of the scene is linked in my Homepage URL.

This next part is not about Rick, but actually, maybe it is. After 6 1/2 years, we've slightly modified our mission statement to more accurately reflect on the theme of this board. While we've always been a ZFX discussion group, and will continue to be, I think it's obvious we've evolved into a forum that covers a wide variety of other extreme bondage videos, as well. Over the last few years, it's been difficult to maintain any kind of discussion about ZFX, especially because the releases have been so infrequent. When there's only 2 new releases in two years, and yes, very little feedback from the creator, I thought it was about time to change it.

In my mind, it's a minor change and shouldn't really change the focus of what this board is about. What does anybody else think about that?

I post when I can, but lately thats not been very often. I just dont have the free time I used to.

You have to remember, however, because zfx videos are individually password protected, you need to use single thread downloading. Otherwise the server will keep blocking the other threads, that can lead to problems.

Note, I am not advocating stealing from Rick. But, I fully sympathize with people who are inconvenienced, since they have to download stuff in a public place. Also, at $20 per 50 minutes, I think the viewer deserve to keep a copy so they can view it multiple times. People who buy DVD's pay as much or less, for better image quality, and get to keep the DVD copy.

I am myself a paying customer. But, just to be safe, I am not using my usual screen name, in case Rick decides to cut me loose. But, in all honesty, I hope this information can stimulate more demand for Rick's streaming site. Even though the resolution of streaming videos are low compared to DVD's, there is obvious advantage in being able to download contents over the web, as opposed to ordering and receiving DVD's or worse VHS tapes in the mail. It will also solve problems at the Customs.

Rick said he doubted it would last long in the courts, but who knows at this point. We expected 2257 to be wiped out by now but the judge still hasn't ruled yet. Now they're pulling this shit. On the Insex FAQ, they stated that if they were prosecuted on obscenity charges, that they doubted they would lose in court, but they were unwilling to fight it and end up "victorious but bankrupt". Which is exactly why the government is doing this. They don't have a true legal reason for this intimidation, but they figure if they can't win on the facts, they can at least take away their livelihood in the process. It makes me so proud to be an American. I'm so glad they have their priorities in order.

Yeah that sux, but I sure as hell understand their pulling the plug. The type of live show they do is pretty much outlawed by 2257 so compliance for them was probably impossible. They are feeling the pressure. I dont know about the sister sites like hogtied, whether they are owned by the same folks, but to my knowledge they will remain and I have no doubt Insex/PD will be back with something else.

Im not sure why they didnt wait for the Judges ruling in Colorado, but again they may know something I dont. If the Judge upholds 2257 and with the "enhancements" to it working through congress at the moment, if all that comes to pass, I will have to quit and so will everyone else except for the biggest like Hustler, who might try to fight on. Will ZFX weather the tempest in a teapot? I cant say for sure, but Ive been in this business 17 years and no law enforcement agent has ever said boo to me. In fact they have been very helpful on copyright cases and the like. Its no secret who I am or what Im doing, but I strongly feel I am not breaking the law. My records are in order and I have models ready to testify on my behalf. I think the Government would be very foolish to go after me, but this is a very foolish government and the calls for my blood have certainly been made....As Insex said in the statement to prevail in court, victorious but broke is no victory but rather ludicrous. At least for now, ZFX will remain, but the future is very bleak right now.
