What is very important is the reaction to the bondage and to you. What I have found with some of the other videos -- the more experienced models are desensitized or complacent -- sleepy or stiff. 1) The process for approving films here is completely ass-backwards.

2) The government is misrepresenting its own legislation.

There are two levels of government involved, so this gets a bit tricky. But let me try to explain.

In Canada, vanilla porn is legal. However, we have "obscenity" laws that ban certain types of porn, including kiddie porn (of course) and all forms of bondage. Any type of erotica that appears non-consensual is illegal, regardless of whether the real-life actors consented or not.

To complicate the matter, in the province of Ontario, all films, videos and DVDs must be approved by the Ontario government for release (and the people who submit the movies must pay the government for this privilege). The film censor board will determine whether a film can be released or not. If you don't submit your movie or video to the government for approval, you can be prosecuted.

Not that long ago (late 1980s), all porn was being heavily edited in Ontario. All scenes of penetration and oral sex were cut out, so you were left with movies that showed very little beyond kissing.

In the early 1990s, the situation changed, and the censors would allow vanilla porn movies to be rented and sold un-cut. As you might imagine, that led to a boom in adult video stores in Ontario.

However, the censors have never approved bondage films. When the Ontario government says it will continue to uphold Canada's Criminal Code, it is essentially saying it will continue to censor bondage movies.

The government can ban a movie and doesn't have to justify its reasoning, unless someone launches a legal challenge against the ruling. Some people, particularly those running gay book stores, have challenged some of the censor board rulings, but the legal challenges become very expensive quite quickly.

In fairness, even without the censor board, bondage movies would still technically be illegal here. But without the censor board running interference, it's doubtful the laws would be prosecuted in any real way, if at all.

It's a weird state of affairs. Possession of marijuana is being decriminalized here. Gay marriage is legal. Prostitution is technically legal, although you can be charged if you are caught "communicating" for the purposes of prostitution, or running a bawdy house.

Non-consensual rape and torture is perfectly acceptable in movies here if it occurs in a mainstream movie: A Clockwork Orange, Irreversible, Bloodsucking Freaks and I Spit On Your Grave are all legal.

However, bondage adult films are always illegal and are banned. Sorry for prattling on, but that is the situation, as best I can explain it. I'm not sure if this has clarified things or not.

What it means is that, seemingly at will, the government could go after a website (and yes, this site is a potential target) and if the site owner has not kept proper records for the performers involved, he could be convicted of a felony and go to jail for 5 years.

And, I do not support this new version of the 2257 regs, but to say that it will destroy or threaten the adult industry is "chicken little". I recently saw a number of Forbidden Video releases. A couple of them showed promise, notably The Poolman, Beyond Her Limits, Trick or Treat 2 and Dream Date. Of the bunch I saw, Poolman and Trick or Treat 2 seemed the best to me. The villans were real villains, the victims got well abused (and one of them really was a bad agent herself), and the victims looked good. Still not Rick, though. You can tell they sort of want to be like Rick, they just pull themselves up short most of the time.

One thing I did like was that the movie Dream Date used a black girl as the victim. It seems I never see anything but white girls in these movies (at least the ones shot in the US, naturally). It'd be nice to see some Asians, Latinos, Blacks and whatnot in these vids once in a while.

Again, I don't believe this program allows you to splice different movies together. But it would allow you to create a disc that contains individual highlights from different movies. For example, I used DVD-Pro to create my own menu and chapter stops for South of the Border 5, and then used the remaining free space on my disc to include some trailers and to include a bonus scene from Drifters. What you can't do (I believe) is use DVD-Pro to combine these things into one continuous loop.

The most sophisticated program out there is Adobe Encore, but I found it too challenging. I managed to transfer a few scenes to new discs with Adobe, but they never had any audio.

A more sophisticated computer person such as yourself may have better luck with Adobe -- that program allows you to create menus with moving pictures, your own sound effects, etc.

Hope that helps. Unfortunately, I'm not too sophisticated at this. A friend at work help me set up my system, and then I learned what I do through trial and error.

Type of girls? Prefer Caucasian, don't know why. Black or Asian are okay sometimes. For some reason, a really "americanized" Asian (with no accent for example) is more attractive to me than an Asian country native.

I don't try to analyze these preferences too much. It's all what you're used to and what you grew up with, I guess.

If you want to edit DVD´s it´s not possible to cut frames, cause the video file format on DVD´s is MPEG2. This format has group of pictures .gop. So you can´t edit frame by frame. The best way to edit, is to transfer the MPEG video file into a DV 25 Stream. This is video format is used by the most programs. Normally you can now edit the videos, make transitions, subtitles etc. and chapter markers. After that authorize your DVD, multiplex and burn your DVD.

Sorry, this is an easy task for an Apple User as I am. I use iMovie and iDVD to do this. If you are a windows user, this a way more difficult, cause there are a million of programs out, which do all kind of things, but nothing is so easy as to do it on a mac.

The professional way to do this, like PD or Rick, is to use Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. But both producers are poor in doing sound design and mixing. I think audio guys, as I am, can lift those films to another level, in making a great sound design and mix.

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually ended up joining one of hogtied's sub-sites: whippedass.com. I was going to go with hogtied, especially since some AOH scenes in that Cabo series look good, but the previews on whippedass.com showed a lot more AOH scenes.

Kym Wylde is in a lot of the movies I like on that site so far. She is athletic and writhes around well, which I like. I think she's been around for a while, but she looks great in the videos I've downloaded with her strung up. I may still join hogtied or waterbondage later on.

One non-computer option I forgot to mention yesterday is a DVD-recorder machine for your TV.

You can use a DVD recorder to record from your current DVD player. Even copy-protected discs are easy to record (the trick is you begin the recording before you put the protected disc in your regular player). If you use rewritable DVD discs, it will allow you to make various edits, including combining scenes and inserting scenes.

One catch with a DVD recorder -- the edits are OK, but they're not nearly as fine as what you can do on a computer. Also, the menus and chapter stops don't begin to compare with what you can do on a computer. But if the goal is to make your own compilation discs, it is an option. And there's nothing to stop you from doing some editing on a DVD recorder, and then refining your edits and creating menus on a computer.

Mav, let me know how you like whippedass. I think that along with Hogtied, Waterbondage and otheres, are all centrally located in San Francisco so they have access to all these georgeous models. Ralphus urged me to weigh in on the rm conversion thing. I use a product called AVOne to do the rm to mpg conversion. The better the rm source, better the quality. Sometimes audio doesn't sink up right, esp with low bandwidth clips.

Then I just use any dvd program to create the dvd's, sonic has one, ulead has one.

I was reluctant to post on this topic. As a producer I don't want to be ripped off. I know some folks used the high quality clips to create dvd's which they sold. I doubt the producer got a penny off of this. That isn't right, man, truly.

However if the producer doesn't offer a video/dvd product and you have paid for your membership and downloaded the clips, then you should be able to make your own dvd's for your personal use.

You could use NERO to burn your discs onto blank-looking discs (same quality, no cover art on the disc). You can then play those discs on your computer using Windows media player. People keep CDs and all types of discs near their computer -- so this might work.

Some of the options that have been described for Ralphus allow you to keep files on your computer, and you can probably play them on your computer. I'll explore this a bit and report back if I learn anything further. As I mentioned in a previous posting, with me it's always trial and error.

It's a two step process, convert the rm, wmv, QT, avi file to a mpeg1 file (don't bother with mpeg 2, you don't have the resolution). Then just use a program (Nero etc) to make a VCD. I honestly hate to read technical talk on this board, though. I think it's boring and it makes me zone out and stop reading, because I don't quite comprehend all the jargon. Still, I know others are doing what I plan to do, so that's why I brought it up. It could end up helping a lot of people here.

I have been trying to convert some old non-copy restricted videotapes onto DVD. They copy great from the VCR onto the computer and play just fine on the computer. However, the two programs I have tried thus far to burn the digital copies onto DVD have caused problems.

With Ulead Video, even though the digital copy on the computer played perfectly, once burned to DVD the audio and video are always out of sync, and I haven't been able to figure out yet how to fix it.

And with Pinnacle Studio, the audio is okay, but once burned to DVD there is terrible jitter whenever the camera pans.

It seems to me that videotape to digital conversion is still problematic across the board. Everytime I see an advertisement in the newspaper for a new all-in-one DVD & VCR machine (shouting, "Copy your videotapes onto DVD") I go on-line and read consumer reviews. There hasn't been a single one of those machines yet where the users aren't howling about problems with audio-video sync or whatnot.

I don't know why this is so hard for the software writers and the consumer electronics guys to figure out, but the technology just doesn't seem ready for prime time yet for the casual user.

As for DVDs and videotapes, it is true that there can be problems getting the audio in sync using a DVD recorder. For the most part, however, it hasn't been much of a problem for me. I'm told the issue here is that you are actually recording through the television set, and something gets mixed up along the way.

Through my experience in working in a broadcast center for German TV stations, I can give you one tip, switch to Mac. Cause in the windows world you have millions of programs doing anything but you have to figure out what are they doing.

But nothing compares to iLife from Apple. The i apps are so integrated and so easy to use. Take a look at your nearest Apple store.

video audio sync: All kinds of reasons can cause this, but one of the most obvious ones is that the audio sample rate has to be 48k for DVDs (not 44.1k, or 32k, or whatever). Most mpegs are probably not going to be at 48k, so the audio will need to be upsampled.

Rick even did what I consider to be an above-average hanging torture scene, too, in War Pigs 3. It was cool that he had the victim wet her pants as she was lifted off the ground. Hanging scenes in general are dificult to pull off convincingly, since you're having to simulate an action that would be potentially fatal if done in real life. Unless you use a hidden safety harness, the results often look too obviously fake if you try to cut back and forth between the victim's head and her dangling feet. And this pretty much eliminates having the victim being hung nude, too. I've never seen a realistic nude hanging scene.

It's too bad that they have apparently given up releasing new movies, but Eyewitness Production made some damn good hanging and breathplay movies (4 of which I reviewed), but they appear to have gone to strictly pay-per-view, which means I'm no longer interested.

Drowning torture does little for me, unless you find that unique water torture where the victim is retrained (I have at least one in my collection).

This was years before I had ever seen a ZFX tape and I had never seen anything like that. My opinion is that anyone who is suspended is being tortured, because it has to hurt hanging like that.

I wonder if Rick was influenced by the Ginger movies? He ended up shooting Penelope Pace in a similar suspension in one of his later vids (one of the Blunt Trauma series, I think) and I'm pretty sure he did that to Monica Moore, too, although my memory is fuzzy. Can anyone confirm?

I've never been hung up by my wrists personally, but I've tried to grab onto an object that was bolted over my head and tried to see how long I could support my own weight. I could only last a few seconds before I gave up. So having a girl suspended for several minutes, even without enduring any other punishments, seems pretty brutal to me. Maybe it's easier than it looks. What does anybody think? Is suspension really torture? I've been catching up with some old ZFX titles lately, I've stumbled upon 'INCUBUS #2: Architect of Pain', a superb psycho-sex horror classic, I've got a quick question: Who is the actress in the "intravenous" injection scene?, she's got short hair, and is wearing white 'go-go' dancer's boots and more importantly massive tits with nipples the size of NHL regulation hockey pucks, which in a drug induced hallucinogenic masturbatory session proceeds to lick them like "there's no tomorrow!".

Usually drug usage and the paraphenalia that goes with it does very little for me (ok, I lie...I'll make an exception for women smoking!!), but this scene in Incubus 2 gave me more than a tingle!...just curious, that's all.

If you liked The Abductors, you should probably feel the same about Ginger (the first of the series) and Girls Are For Loving, which was the finale. All together, lots of scenes of women tied down so that evil men (or women) can teach them a lesson, and in Ginger's World, there's no better way to get your point across than with bondage rape. Cheri Caffaro has a long bondage rape scene in both those movies, although I wouldn't say any of the rape scenes are of the violent, screaming "I Spit On Your Grave" variety. I do, however, think they are all pretty damn hot, even in a campy sort of way. Once again, no real torture, although Caffaro does get injected with a needle full of heroin while hogtied nude in the first movie.

Unlike The Abductors, which had some good scenes throughout (although, admittedly, the best were near the beginning), Ginger is generally kind of dull. Nothing too exciting happens until near the end of the movie.

But boy oh boy, once we get to those scenes, things really pick up. I agree with Ralphus's assessment of the rape scene -- it's a little cheesy, but very erotic. I also liked the next scene where Ginger was hog-tied.

For anyone else who hasn't seen it, this is a movie where you can skip to the last chapter on the DVD (chapter 11) and see all the best parts. For the final scenes alone, this movie is highly recommended.

On another note, there are two different movies called "Fair Game" on Amazon. Are we talking about the movie with Cindy Crawford (the mind reels), or the other one?

Fair Game: Ah yes, a classic scene with Cassandra Delaney (who, incidentally, was married to John Denver), one of my favorite scenes, very humiliating. As they race through the outback, her shirt flies open and her breasts are exposed.

The Insex Chicken segment: Okay, that's just fucking weird, but somehow, I'm real curious to see it. I actually like the concept of tarring and feathering, mainly because of the humiliation factor. I've only seen it done to a woman once on film, in an obscure Italian Western called Vengeance Is a Dish Served Cold, and it was a cool scene that made my highlights tape. I have no idea what PD is going for, but give him credit for stretching and trying something new.

What it says, basically, is that being a member of the FSC excludes you from prosecution, but the rest of us will be covered by the result of the pending hearing. Under the deal with the Justice Department, authorities wont conduct any inspections or pursue any claims to FSC members through Sept. 7, but the government reserves the right to inspect and prosecute anyone who is not a plaintiff or FSC member.

A master list of members will be submitted to the special master on Wednesday and will include all FSC members as of 2 p.m. (PST) on Saturday.

So this boils down to joining the FSC by Saturday or else expect a knock on the door. I tried to join tonight but couldn't get through (I imagine there will be a lot of last minute sign-ups).

First, it seems like Ginger must have been moving up in the world by the time of this third movie, as it had a real movie star in it. Timothy Brown, who plays the detective working alongside Ginger, was a former pro football player who became an actor. He appeared in movies like MASH and Nashville and played Spearchucker on some of the early episodes of the MASH TV series.

Second, this movie sure had a lot of scenes of guys being tied up and tortured. Not my thing, although there were a few scenes where the red-headed female villain was cock-teasing some of her captive men. At times, that was hot.

The most original scene occurs near the start, when a brunette woman in a cabin is forced to strip, handcuffed, taken outside into the snow, bound to a tree and raped. The scene is far too short, in my view, but it is effective. (There is a male victim in this scene, too, but who cares about him?)

Otherwise, my favorite scenes were near the end, starting with Ginger being captured by the villains, laid out on a table and stripped naked. She is then bound spread-eagled on a bed and raped by one of the men while the red-headed villain watches.

Soon after, the red-headed villain is captured, bound spread-eagled on the bed by Ginger, and gets the same treatment from one of the male heroes.

In between my favorites at the beginning and end, there is plenty of cheesy dialogue, some naked or near-naked karate and kung-fu scenes, and plenty more.

Like the other two Ginger movies, this one is highly recommended.

It's funny, I don't remember anything about guys being tied up in Girls Are For Loving, but I suppose that's understandable. But weird to me is that I also have no recollection of the rape scene in the snow, either. Tied to a tree and raped? Sounds like stuff I like. It must have been just too short for me to save.

The scenes that stood out for me were the redheaded bitch teaching Ginger a lesson by having one of the men "break her" by raping her while she's tied spreadeagled to a table. And of course, Ginger's revenge when she turns the tables and has her bound and raped. And remember, this was a real movie, shown in real theaters. Gawd, they simply do not make them like that anymore. Oh, to turn back the clock and revisit the 1970s again. What a golden era.

However in the copy I saw in the movie house, the camera angle went too low and you could see that she was wearing a pair of heavy hiker's boots on her feet, the guy leading her took her cuffs off and then reattached them so that she was cuffed standing up, her wrists attached behind her, around the trunk of a very slender tree. I think there was an implied rape, then the guy shot and killed her while her boyfriend looked on helplessly from the window of the plane they had loaded him on........

As mentioned on this site, the movie did have a few men in bondage scenes, one which brought loud chuckles from the audience. Ginger, trying to get information, had a naked guy spreadeagled on the bed, face up. She had tied wire around his testies and using a small piece of wood or something was twisting the wire so that it tightened around his scrotum. The same thing as with the naked girls hiker's boots, the camera angle moved too low and you could see the wire held in the crook of some guy's finger, while Ginger held the other end, threatening to remove the guy's manhood. It was a funny scene but nevertheless, it was a good movie for Gimper types. We need more movies like the "Ginger" series.

My ranking is: 1. Girls 2. Ginger 3. Abductors. To my recollection, Abductors didn't have Ginger herself in many bound naked sex situations. There were a couple scenes with no names but didn't do it for me.

The Ginger and villain scenes in Girls are exactly what I want from bondage scenes. The girls can be tough, but there's a moment when they realize they're beat (like Ginger and the gang attack). Whether they succumb or protest, that's what's hot.

Likewise, Ginger's rape at the end of Ginger. She's clearly unhappy. And the cop/hooker tie up and the beach fight are awesome.

I wish people would make more movies like these. You don't have to be explicit if the scenarios are so god damn hot I can't contain myself before it would get explicit anyway.

Whatever happened to Cheri Caffaro? According to the IMDB, she is now 60 (!) years old. She hasn't appeared in a film since 1977, believe it or not. 5 of her 7 screen credits were written and directed by her husband, Don Schain. And big surprise, all five featured Cheri either tied up or tying someone else up, including the hard-to-find A Place Called Today, where she got stripped naked, tied up, gagged and raped in a memorable scene. So while she had a relatively short career, she belongs in the GIMPer Hall of Fame for what she accomplished.

Again, if anyone here has not seen the Ginger trilogy, go find it and buy it. Every movie is chock full of naked bondage, even if you have to skip through the cheesy action and dialogue to get to the good parts. There's some incredibly explicit bondage material that you're unlikely to see in most mainstream movies.
