THE ORVILLE is a great show- part comedy, Part drama, and a wonderful homage to Star Trek TNG.

IN episode 4 of season 1 first officer Kelly Grayson (played by the seriously sexy Adrianne Palicki) is taken prisoner by a bunch of religious zealots. She’s tied to a chair and beaten repeatedly while she mouths wise to their leader. Love the looks of pain on her face as she is full on face punched.

In the end she injected with a chemical that induces horrific nerve pain. In true religious psycho fashion the leader mocks her while she thrashes and screams in agony.

I actually like it when mainstream scenes are manipulated here.
However, very realistic interrogation and torture scenes inspire me.
It's ok if the victim is naked. But why the bodies tied up with a thousand ropes in BDSM style? That takes the last bit of realism out of the scene.
