25 Years of Bring Out The GIMP!

As we prepare to celebrate the 25th anniversary of
Bring Out The GIMP, I'm beginning to make some changes. The first one is our background image that it looks like this:
Your screen will show just a part of it, if you are using a computer, if you are using a cellphone you won't see it. Which makes me wonder about the need of a nice background image.
All that work.
If you are using a computer you can view if all if you zoom out.
We're considering some changes and improvements but it costs money. We'll consider those changes and improvements if we see a way of financing them.
More changes coming and this thread will have more information as the work progresses.

Amazing to think the site is now a quarter century old. Seems only yesterday I was discovering it and enjoying its many fared and contributions.

Have to say that of all the site I use or have used , this one is at the top. Why? Well simple, I am obviously with some like minded people. Very easy to feel accepted here.

I like the new background wallpaper.
25 years. Wow. Now I feel old. I remember when this site was under the original owner, pre-Ralphus.
