If anyone can identify the artist of this image, please advise me. I have several pieces of this work back in the 80's, and now they are showing up on the net and labeled as Ferrel's work, which they are not. I can't remember the name, but I am pretty sure it starts with a G or perhaps Guy... something like that. I would appreciate any help.

I have 66 images of this artist filed under the title DemVer. I'm pretty sure they came off the old Drawing Palace website, but I can't be sure, and a number of them are duplicates that I haven't had time to sort out. Here's three images from my stash.

They are older than the Internet. The pictures have been published around 1980 in France in a book "supplices et plaisirs". Unfortunately without indication of the artist.

Yes they're older work. I first saw them as photo copy sets from the old RDF Co in NYC. Who ever the artists was evidently didn't publish any more work like this... at least that I know of. I have not seen any other art like these since.

The name Dem Ver rings a bell, but I don't recall where I heard or read that. Thanks for refreshing my memory. I had at least one set of 8 (or perhaps 10) of these at one time (photocopies) from RDF Co during the late 70's - early 80's. RDF sold them in the same time period as they were offering the sets by Ferrel, but they never labeled them as Ferrel's work. They were anonymous. Later when they showed up on the net, they credited to Ferrel which I still think is incorrect. Btw, over on e-Hentai they still have these listed as Ferrel's work.

Checking back, I think that your artist is known as De Mulatto

Sorry, but I'm fairly certain that is not De Mullato's work (which I'm very familiar with).

Your link is rather convincing, but forgive me as I'm still skeptical that those are Ferrel's work. I have looked at, and collected literally thousands of art pieces by many artists over 40 plus years, and if these in question are indeed his work, it would be the first time I have seen two distinctly different art styles from the same artist, in the same medium.

I know he did somewhat different styles in some of his story sets. But there are still similarities between them, at least to my eye. The art I'm questioning as his looks completely different to me.

I'm posting two pieces that I've had since before the internet. When I first saw them years ago I thought they were done by different artists, and I haven't yet changed my mind about that yet. Looking at these two pieces I ask.. why would Ferrrel do the same image in two completely different styles?

The book "Supplices et plaisirs" (Torments and pleasure) was apparently published in 1979 but without any credits to the author(s).
The link I posted before assigns it to Joseph Farrel (who also used the alias Angelo for some publications).
I also found a site that assigns it to DemVer but I couldn't find any information about an artist with that name.
So, I guess the artist's ID will remain a mystery.
