idk, me personally feel like this takes away from the rivalry they have and would have wondered how it could have continued. Not uplifting in any sense for the genre, but more of them reaching a financial goal that took two to tango.

Maybe the contestants slap each other and the one who does not give up gets the points for that round, kinda like a duel format
