How to link.
use img and /img inside bracket []

I have spaces inside the brackets so it will show here. No spaces inside bracket.

Website: the complete info, in my case https://redfeline.com
Folder: if the image is in a folder inside the website, and if the image is inside a folder that is also inside a folder, then all folders must be included:
website/folder/folder/folder/image.gif

What do the rest of us plonkers who are just providing work from our personal computers do?

I would also like to offer pictures but not to whole folders if that link gives such access. D

jpgs can be attached if they are under 1mb in size. If you have images that are bigger, just make them smaller, not difficult to do and the quality of the image does not suffer.

We're considering setting up a folder where people can upload gifs, outside the forum. It's going to be like a gallery. There won't be a discussion area, just pictures, that can be linked here. Does dat sound good?

Dat does do good. That would help no end if you create a separate area for gifs. As I say, I only put my bits and pieces on here but I take the stills mainly from films I have made. As films tend to take up a lot of room I have no problem making gifs from them. At least they can be more than a second long, higher definition and a larger image. Thanks for that. I hope you have a day off from us plonkers now and again.
I shall wait patiently for the advent of the new gallery and in the meantime amuse myself with torturing animations to their limit.

No Mr Hyde, are you willing to write some? I think some evocative texts always enhance the narrative, I could send you the 13 I have done so far to work on, unfortunately there are still some missing images to set the scene, I have in mind some missionary camp being attacked and the Vicars wife, daughter and maids are taken prisoner, I have an image in mind I have used before, with some reworking.!
