I am having a hard time understanding why these kinds of pics here are remotely related to the purported purpose of the GIMP board? On the Gimp's prior incarnation, there were multiple polls that Ralphus would run. One of the most repeated was to determine the level of gimp members preferred. Of course only a very small number of active visitors responded, but it was a bit disheartening to see how many of our brethren were not fans of the harder stuff. It seems that more of those folks have found the returned version than of we more hard-core gimpers. I've posted stuff that was intended to push the limits on breast-whipping, electro, whip marks and some other topics, and there have been a few who responded in kind, but it's been a bit like trying to start a fire with wet leaves. Many more of the pics, as you say, of nudes from the net with comments like, "what would you like to do to those nipples..."

This is my idea of a thigh gap with room for torture!

I used to come and scan through the topics of interest to me most every morning, and it was rare that I didn't find 2-3 images that I downloaded and put into my archives. Now I'm more likely to find one image every few days,if that.

In fairness, though, I could ask if you have posted anything--or at least responded enthusiastically to posts that sent your flag up the pole. At least those who do post something--or who even make the Facebook-type posts (e.g. thanks for posting, etc.) are actively here. My experience, with a few notable exceptions from others who are on my end of the spectrum, has been a lot like wetting your pants in a dark suit--you get a brief warm feeling, but nobody notices.

In the previous incarnation of GIMP forum, like you, I often found images, information on old videos and movies, and other stuff that I enjoyed and sometimes downloaded. I offered reviews of movies which may, or may not, still exist in archives. I have literally 100s of GIMP photos on my personal computer, but read here that I cannot upload from there. There is no "copy/paste" feature in the forum, only linking to somewhere.

Mypoint here with my original comment was to say that since reopening the quality of the stuff posted here has gotten worse. Your AOH stuff, btw, is excellent, but the endless manips repetitive manips get old. In my view posting pics of random girls and asking us what we would do with them is not GIMP material. I understand many here will disagree or take offense.

Whether it is or isn't gimp material is likely a matter of opinion. Most or all of the topics here are, for many of us here, pure fantasy in whatever form that appeals to us individually. But all of that aside, my question is... why does it have to be one or the other? Is there not room for different types of material? Not everything here appeals to me either, and I don't spend much time on what doesn't appeal to me. Again, whether the Gimp has gone 'downhill' since the shutdown is perhaps a matter of opinion.

Well, just one more post to resolve a limit you (I believe incorrectly) understand to exist here.

The pic I posted yesterday, and the one today, were posted directly from my computer. If you go to the post box, below it you should see a button for Full Editor and Preview. You can type your comments, as you do now, in the post window, but you can also drag up to 3 images from your computer folder into that same window and drop them there. A listing of them will appear in another window below the post window, giving you the option of typing a caption for each, deleting them from the list (if you got the wrong one) or placing inline in your post. Like this:

In looking through my files, I find that it seems I greatly prefer girls with their legs spread and, generally, with AOH or in X or Y or inverted Y. I like to have unrestricted access to all the "good parts" with no ability on the gimp's part to protect herself in any way. Not many with legs closed, but here's another who looks like she might have a thigh gap, though she looks plenty attractive just as she is.

BTW, if you drag over a file that is above the limit in size, there will be a message above the window that advises you of this fact. In my experience, if you save something in a jpg format, even decent sized images like these are 150-300 kb, and I believe the limit is 1 MB. It's pretty tough to get GIF's under the limit anymore unless they are a couple seconds long or microscopic in size, but images shouldn't be a problem

Below the post box you'll have the option of Previewing or submitting. I usually preview first to make sure I got the right images into the post and didn't make any serious errors in language, then I submit.

In any case, love to see what you have on your drive--and I'm sure others would as well. As to whether pictures of fully-clothed women or just nude shots are gimp, because someone might imagine how cool they would look as gimps, I guess that will not be resolved. But the more of us--on whatever side of that issue--who post and stimulate others to post on our side of the fence, the better the chance that there will be better pickings for all of us.
