There were times ( before the WOKE madness) where " chicks in chains" were mainstream. I remember lining up to see one of the Ilsa movies in a multiplex theater. Imagine the protest, if a movie like that was made today, screened in a theater and sponsored by the Canadian taxpayer. The government would fall. But never mind Ilsa, Chained Heat,if made today, would cause the same ruckus. So the impetus for BH ( and all subsequent BH movies) came from the financial success of that movie.

About 10 more movies in this style were made by BH , but even those ( due to high costs, low rewards) had to be switched to " more adult" less expensive content.

That's correct. Many mainstream films that were made in the last century could no longer be shown in the mainstream today.
When I criticize bakerboy's posts here, I always mean the later BH productions, which are actually purely lesbian erotic films.
I'm curious which old mainstream films he will post here. Hopefully there's something that we don't know about yet.
