If look carefully the gif where Amanda is in crux, also without audio you can "hear" her air hunger. This means that she screamed continuosly, as Pedro wrote, for a mix of pain and panic due to Ariel's abruptely transformation from sub to dom.
Instead at the end of 120 strokes she breathed almost normally.

She is like a Greek Goddess of Olympus and She suffers for us.

Amanda was crucified for quite a long time. Is that what happened?

Yes, that is what happened, but don't forget that this is not the real crucifixion position, when most of the body weight is hanging on the arms. This is a very mild position compared to that, here the body weight is supported by the legs (in most cases)

Of course Pedro nobody wants actually hanging Amanda by arms, or in a real hanging strappado. Just it's with these dramatic ( almost-true ) postures our ill fantasy flies.
