Hahaha! Now I'll have to watch the movie all over again, just for that line!stemur wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 2:39 pm.skullchaser wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 5:37 pmOne of the best things about the 90s was having Nikki Dial on the rack or suspended. . . . did someone say Tower of Lyndon? . . .

Re: Women stretched on the rack
Is Dani in all of the CruxExtrema videos? Because her tattoos and piercings are a distraction. I picked up I and II and it is a good start. In fact, some other criticisms in the hopes of improving the next productions:La Reine Margot wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 7:35 pmThat's Dani in the pictures, from CruxTreme 1 and 2.yyy02 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 3:36 pm CEIISc09_0206_00173910_e4nipples-a_InP.jpgCruxExtremaSc02Tk30_0157_00202112_e1tats, wm-a4_InP.jpg

Something just a little different today, more reworked images, enjoy.

1 & 2) Originals from Crux Extrema, thank you La Reine Margot / VermeerWorks (If you feel like they need deleting Margot, please do so),
3) Original a Madam Bathory rack image, thank you Madam Bathory!

1. When Jaq turns the windlass on the rack, the chains should make a metallic clanking sound.
2. Whip strikes do not sound the same every single time. You should have a variety of sound effects to make some strikes sound harder, others softer, and so forth.
3. There's a difference between red welts and blood. The victim shouldn't start bleeding first. The skin will welt, then bruise, then split open and bleed as the blood is drawn to the injury.
I hope this helps.

Yes to all, and I'm not piling on La Reine Margot, just hopefully adding some weight to skullchaser's valid (IMHO) criticisms.skullchaser wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:52 pm

The tattoos may not hurt in a modern film, but in a period piece? Surely you can find funds for a makeup artist (or three) in the budget somewhere? Or maybe cast for different, not so heavily inked actresses? (

"It's late, so tighten the winch 3 notches and we'll see what she has to say in the morning."

Yes, Dani and Mila have tattoos, which in period films, like our newest, Seditiosa, are totally covered.yyy02 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 4:12 pmYes to all, and I'm not piling on La Reine Margot, just hopefully adding some weight to skullchaser's valid (IMHO) criticisms.skullchaser wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:52 pm

As far as the sounds in the films... Most of the time, the sounds are the actual sounds in the set, like the chains and even the sounds of the whip. The whips are leather for the most part and they do make a sound when they hit the flesh, but sometimes they are enhanced.
The blood during the lashing, in some films, does not come right away. There's a lot of hitting involved before the skin finally breaks.

Can't beat a good Crux scene, espcially if they have each been scourged!
