Young women tend to be more attractive physically, but mature ones can be very enticing with their experience and different way to see things.
Being a 60+ myself, I feel closer to them, while young ones sort of belong in a different world.
Then again, it all depends on who we're talking about. There's no rigid general rule.

I put myself in your age group and the same is true for me. When at my gym for example or at the beach I really enjoy seeing the hard muscled bodies of the young men but in bed or in bdsm play I much prefer an older man for the same reason: experience. They generally know how to handle a woman to get the most out of her for mutual enjoyment if you know what I mean. Ed Lee of Nu-West is one man I would have loved to have whipped me. He knew how to properly whip a woman.

I promise you, if I were given the choice of 20 to 30 somethings, and 40 & 50 somethings, it would be the latter.

Ah, well, shucks, if it is an either or choice, I might have to elect 20-30, since their lovely skin shows the marks so clearly. Their terror is enchanting. If I could select the breakdown, then it might be fifty/fifty each.

Of course YMMV, and that is as it should be. I'm an older guy, and I find the mature ladies more appealing, so it's likely a generational thing.

When I was young, I was clumsy and tended to plunge headlong on a woman. Things ended too fast and weren't fully satisfying. Not to me and not to her. Sort of "wham bang thank you ma'am".
Experience taught me to go slowly, explore her body and enjoy the moment. There's no hurry.
Another problem with young girls is they're insecure and also less tolerant. A mature woman is more relaxed and doesn't expect perfection.
