Thanks. I don't really understand what makes a GIMP require immediate action, sometimes it's her posture and body type, others it's just a small "insignificant" detail.

It's not just a Gimp. It's what you have in mind. That's what needs to be implemented immediately. Later, you may no longer have the idea.
That's how it usually is with me. That's why I start working right away and lay out the scene. Then I can do the detailing later.

It's not just a Gimp. It's what you have in mind. That's what needs to be implemented immediately. Later, you may no longer have the idea.
That's how it usually is with me. That's why I start working right away and lay out the scene. Then I can do the detailing later.

You are right, at least as far as I'm concerned. We seem to work the same way. The image, as in this case Emily, immediately suggests a scenario. I then work on setting it up, choosing background and other characters. Once that is done, I work on the details. But, the story, or potential story, almost always dictates what the final scene will be and how I will use the GIMP's image.
