The maid looks on in terror as the Inquisitor and his henchman start the interrogation of her mistress. She has no information at all of her mistress' political machinations and thus has nothing to hope for except that these terrifying men will question her mistress for a long, long time. She knows it will be her turn when they finish with her mistress, and she has seen enough down in these horrific chambers to know that only a true confession with real facts and names will stop the torture. A false confession will only make her torture worse...

And she knows nothing. Nothing at all. She is certain that her mistress will eventually break and be beheaded as a traitor. But the maid is deathly afraid that she herself faces a much more bitter fate, that of being slowly tortured to death...

Wow.
I love it. Cruel torture at it's best, up close and personal.

Wow... as nice as GK's work is, yours is certainly as impressive, & perhaps a bit more for my taste.
I couldn't help but notice that she's already been prewarmed before this scene took place. You do beautifully realistic flame work, and the burns on her thigh and breast are just right (imo) and not overdone. Overall a beautiful render and thank you for sharing.
