As she screamed and thrashed helplessly the flame moved around to different parts of her. At first the heat turned her pale white skin red but the hooded figure looked on silently as she eventually started to turn brown. Soon the air was filled with the aroma of roasting meat and Carol's voice died to a begging rasp. Still the hooded figure did nothing until Carol's spirit slipped away.
