Found the problem with Zippy Share. I was clicking the ICON, not the link which is below the ICON. The link is not identified as a link until you move the mouse over it when it then underlines, I thought it was just a title. In G.I.M.P., the links are highlighted in a different colour which is something that Zippy Share should do as well.

The link is not identified as a link until you move the mouse over it when it then underlines, I thought it was just a title. In G.I.M.P., the links are highlighted in a different colour which is something that Zippy Share should do as well.

If you click on the "View type" down arrow you can select "List"

This will result in more compact view as shown below (only a portion of the list)

You can sort this list by date, by name ... by using the "Sort" button on the top right.
The names in the list are clickable links to download the file.
