Suspended registrations

We disabled registrations for a bit. We're getting hundreds in a day, it means we're being bombarded by bots. One in 1000 registration attempts is legit. Really.
I know that bots don't read, so they don't know, and most people who want to register might read this post and the one at Forum Rules on top of the page.
If you want to register send me the user name you want, the password and I'll set you up. Send it to

Damn the bots. i was lucky to get in via the email during a previous bot storm. thanks for your efforts.

As the heading in The Gimp Forum indicates, the registrations are active again for a bit. To register, proceed the normal way, and when you receive an email respond to it so we can activate it. Bots don't respond to email and don't read this. They just want to populate sites with links and links and more links.
