A lot of guys won't like this movie for the very reason I did. The women do not look like models. There are no super hard bodies or cover girl faces. They aren't fantasy fodder and that just adds to the realism in my opinion.

There are two consensual sex scenes, one heterosexual and one lesbian. There are two rape scenes, one forced oral and one forced oral followed by forced anal. There is no bondage or abuse. The rapes are perpetuated through intimidation. In the first case, the victim is threatened with a knife. In the second, she is threatened with a gun. Both scenes end with the death of the woman. The first has her throat cut. The second is cut down the length of her chest and is then stabbed twice. The special effects aren't great, but acceptable.

These are some of the best rape scenes I have seen in XXX porno. What makes them work, aside from the everyday looks of the actresses is the acting. Both woman pull off terrified cooperation beautifully. Harry Reems does a fantastic job of portraying a mean-spirited psycho. His lines are repeated a lot, sometimes dubbed with no mouth movement, but that adds to the idea of his being deranged. At least once a victim speaks without moving her lips, but it can easily be overlooked.

The three words that best describe this movie are gritty, nasty, and realistic. 70s hairstyles, both above and below the waist, are present as expected. I am curious as to whether or not this movie is widely available, even within the U.S. So far, I haven't found any online sites that are selling it, though my search was far from an exhaustive one.

Rape scenes used to be fairly common in hardcore, but not today, no way. Now everybody is scared they'll get prosecuted so they don't even take a chance. And we have to settle for boring stuff like SexAndSubmission.com. The material is there, but the attitude is all wrong. Submission isn't exciting.

I'm really surprised After Hours released the film uncut. Most of the classic roughies you look for today are either not available on DVD, or if they are, they're edited with the rough stuff (any rape scenes or sex with bondage, for instance) trimmed out. It's sad. I would love to see Barbara Broadcast, for instance, but the scenes where she's bound and fucked are censored to remove the hardcore shots. For the same reason that everything happens in life - to annoy us ;-) But seriously, I'm happy if the trend goes towards more explicit torture even if it means the sexual aspect is downplayed. OK, not happy, but at least not too annoyed by it. It does get ridiculous, though, (as per Hostel II) when a female character is tied up to be tortured and she's FULLY CLOTHED.

Part 2 of Sayuri Blood Chronicles opens with Sayuri (Meng Lau) tied to a wooden post with her wrists tied high above her head facing frontward. Our heroine is still dazed from her (non-bondage, but restraint) beating in part 1. Villain Alexa taunts our heroine, who is wearing a black set of bra, panties, and mid-shin boots. Sayuri sensually struggles against her bonds. After 1.5 minutes of taunting, Alexa calls her henchman over, a man dressed all in black and wearing a gas mask. About a half minute later, the henchman comes to inspect his prey again. This is where the movie gets the most intense. He gets Sayuri's sword sheathe/case, winds up, and delivers a solid shot to the kidneys, causing our heroine to jerk her head back and scream in pain. Over the next 3 minutes, the henchman lands 7 more (very realistic-looking) blows to Sayuri's kidneys. Shen is then released from her bonds and collapses on the floor yet again.

Part 3 opens with the henchman having a taser in his hands. He looks at a terrified Sayuri, who is again tied wrists overhead to the wooden post facing frontward. Sayuri screams when the henchman tests the taser gun. The henchman moves closer to the bound Sayuri, taunting her with the taser. After nearly 2 minutes of taunting, the henchman tasers Sayuri in her left abdomen, to which she screams in pain and passes out. Although she hangs limply tied to the post seemingly unconscious, the henchman waits only another half minute before applying another taser shot to her left abdomen. Sayuri screams and writhes in pain yet again, still seemingly unconscious. After about another 30 seconds, the henchman tasers the limp Sayuri on her right abdomen, causing her to scream and writhe in pain yet again. As she limps tied to the pole again, the henchman waits about 45 seconds before tasering her again, this time on her ass. Screaming and writhing to an unconscious state yet again. Half a minute later, another taser shot is applied to the right abdomen, causing more screaming and writhing. As we see an unconscious, bound Sayuri for another minute, the movie fades out with a "to be continued".

Given the realism of the torture at many times and the attractiveness of the victim, I give this movie a B+/A-

I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that in New York, Jack Ketchum's "The Girl Next Door" was released last weekend. The bad news is it was released with the least minimum of promotion so that I only found out it was out by accident.

The NY Times had no review nor did they have it listed among movies opening for the week. But the NY Post, the toilet paper of NY papers, reviewed it. But I don't buy that paper. Somebody left a copy on the Subway. I picked it up but didn't look at it until yesterday.

They hated it. The review called the movie sick. Check it out in my Homepage URL above. But damn they had a hot picture of the star, Blythe Auffarth, wearing shorts, bound and gagged. I'm looking at it now. Has me hard as a rock.

I hope this movie is around this weekend. I'm going to make an effort to see it.

Rise - Blood Hunter? Rojo Sangre? Lucky? Dark Reality? BTK Killer? No description in the Brian's Page database of any of those. I'll see what Netflix has and update my queue.

Meanwhile, if anybody can give us reviews or a synopsis of any of these titles, that would be awesome. Just wanted to let you know that quite a few of us appreciate more than just the bondage.

The first 10 minutes of Girls of War Part 1 consist of SoCal Val (Valerie Wyndham) running around with guns looking hot in a torn tight white top and thong. She takes off the white top to reveal a bikini top before a 2-minute unrealistic gunfight (because 4 guys with M-16s can't land a shot). At the end of this gunfight is when Val gets caught off guard at gunpoint by Villain Alexa.

Now at 10 minutes in of part 1, we fade in to see Val seated on a chair with her arms handcuffed behind her back, still wearing her thong and bikini top. Alexa hovers over her for a bit before jerking her head back by pulling her hair and whipping out a gun. She then uses the gun to straddle Val's shapely body from her neck down to her legs a couple of times. We get some nice side-boob shots. Alexa then goes off screen to get a bucket that is filled with water. We see Val still cuffed to the chair when Alexa goes off-screen before drenching Val, who writhes around as her athletic body is soaked.

Alexa then moves in front of her and pushes her head back before unleashing a hard backhand to Val's face. Alexa then gives Val an equally hard forehand to the face. Both blows are acted as if they were almost hard enough to knock Val off the chair. Alexa then taunts Val again by pushing her head back before unleashing the final strong backhand to Val's face. At this point Alexa taunts Val a little more before motioning to her henchmen offscreen. Overall, this scene was about 3 minutes.

Part 2 of Girls of War opens with a sweaty and pained Val tied wrists overhead to a wooden post in an abandoned warehouse type setting facing frontward. Alexa proceeds to taunt Val yet again before motioning to her offscreen henchman. The shot pans out so we get to see most of Val's body. The henchman first inspects her bonds then massages her face and body for a bit before landing a swift blow to Val's left abdomen. Over the next ~8 minutes, the henchman taunts, chokes and beats Val repeatedly (about 7 body shots and 2 face punches) and she does a pretty good job of writhing/struggling and moaning in pain. The last blow apparently knocks her out before the scene fades out.

A few seconds later the scene opens to show Val still tied to the post facing frontward, but this time the henchman has a billyclub. He rubs the club all over Val's body including between her breasts. He then hits Val in the stomach strongly 2 times with it before going behind her and using the club to crush her body against the wooden pole she's tied to. Val continues put in a good acting job by writhing and moaning in pain. Over the next 4 minutes, the henchman continues to torture Val by hitting her 9 times in the stomach with the billy club. He then uses the club to choke her against the wooden pole she's tied to for a bit. After some more taunting, the henchman hits Val on the side of the head, apparently knocking her out before we fade to black.

Part 3 opens up with Val struggling as she is still tied to the wooden post with her wrists overhead, but this time her sweaty thong-wearing tight ass if facing us. The henchman comes in to scratch Val across her back a couple of times, which causes her to writhe and scream in pain. The henchman then grabs her by the thong to pull her closer, massages her abdomen, then lands a swift blow to her left side causing her to swing sideways. The henchman then pulls her close to land 3 strong punches in succession to her kidney area. After some taunting, the henchman delivers a strong blow to the back of the neck before switching over to punch her on her right abdomen. The henchman then wraps his arms around Val and the wooden post to crush her with a strong bear hug. When he lets go, Val writhes around so that we get to see the front side of her well-formed body.

After some more taunting, the henchman ducks down, spreads Val's legs, and delivers 2 punches in the crotch. Val continues to do a good job of acting in pain. The henchman then delivers a double-fisted blow to her back, another scratch, then 3 fast blows to her kidney area. We can see that the sweaty Val is almost unconscious yet again. The henchman lands another 4 blows to the kidneys before Val passes out again. We fade to black and fade in to see Val still tied in the same position, but the henchman has the billy club again. He lands 6 blows to Val's back/kidneys over the next 2 minutes before choking her with the club. He then uses it to hit Val in her crotch area by swinging it upward between her legs. The henchman continues the torture by hitting Val in the back of the neck 5 times. At this point the henchman lines up Val for a final blow to the back of her neck, which knocks her out and also makes her fall to the ground.

After these 13 minutes of torture, the screen fades to black before flashing a "to be continued" sign.

Maybe I'm biased because (again) the actress is hot and she's bound in my favorite position, but adding that the acting in the torture scenes is pretty good, I also give this movie a B+/A-

Ralphus-as I mentioned before, there is no dialogue in these films aside from the heroines moaning in pain, but I think the implied plot is that they are heroines captured by nefarious villains. Works for me. The upcoming "Sons of Seth" looks like a regular horror plot though.

Jefferson James - sorry, not a rape scene - the villain is a serial killer cop who escapes from prison and is tracking down his ex-wife. Tracy Ryan is her best friend and he recalls the kind of guys she digs so he disguises himself as such. She does him willingly with her on top and she walks away to get a drink. He goes across the room with a bedsheet and partially wraps her and begins to do her again on the kitchen counter top. His disguise begins to unravel so he knocks her out. When return to that scene is made he has her duct taped to a small chaisse, hands bound in front with a plastic bag over her head secured with rope. He tells her she has about 2 minutes of air but will let her go if she spills the beans on wifey's location. As she can't speak gasping for breath he hands her a pen and pad. She writes "I don't know", he kisses her on the head and leaves - she dies moments later. A nice scene but no rape I'm afraid.

MAV - nice review partner - that flick should provide some stiffy's around the forum.

Vince - thanks for the heads up on "The Girl Next Door" - I recall some earlier discussion on it but it slipped under my radar - I'll have to wait on the dvd as it will never play here in the bible belt - let us know how the viewing is and enjoy.

Ralphus - like you I had never heard of many of those titles provided by Brutus and jyydubs. Can give a quick rundown on a couple for you though. "BTK Killer" is a film by Ulli Lommel of "The Deveonsville Terror" fame. His quality control standards have suffered considerably since those days. While the scenes are relatively lengthy, they are poorly done, IMHO, and the acting, if it could be called that, is abysmal. Simply no sense of "impending doom" if you will.

"Rojo Sangre" is a Paul Naschy flick - yes still making movies these days. Haven't seen it though but some reviews indicate not bad for what that's worth.

"Lucky" is a horror/fantasy/comedy. It's kind of a neat little story but the bondage is minimal though nicely handled. Nice stuff for a compilation. Hope that helps some.

On the old subject of forced orgasms, not my fave, most of them seem to use the external vibes, much prefer penetration with bondage. Would love to see someone using bondage & "Brutal Dildos" style toys. The Japanese stuff posted does look pretty hot, but the damm Japanese pixilation just ruins it for me. Exitus Interruptus is a German effort about two lesbians vacationing in the neighborhood of a serial killer. Some good brutal scenes, including a naked woman tape gagged and stabbed in the snatch, and another tape gagged and shot in the snatch. It can be purchased here.

Live Feed has a woman taped gagged and bound in ropes with breasts exposed. Unfortunately, the movie is more focused on gore.

Snuff Trap is an Italian rip-off of 8-MM. It typically paints the S/M community in a negative light, but there are numerous GIMP-worthy scenes involving full bondage gear as the main character visits S/M clubs and studios. It's available here.

Went to the archives and pulled out one I consider a Japanese classic of sleaze and depravity. Somewhat surprised to find it has never been reviewed on the forum. We will remedy that today.

The film is "Beautiful Girl Hunter" aka "Star of David". This is a 1979 production directed by Norifumi Suzuki.

Run time is 1 hour 40 minutes

I obtained my copy on eBay where it appears from time to time and is available at the above link. My copy has English subtitles.

As this is practically a mainstream film it is quite involved but non-Gimp moments must be included as the plot is vital so bear with me please.

We open with a guy running down a street in the rain. In the background one hears sirens. He jumps a security gate and gains entry to the mansion. Inside, he has bound a man and his wife. He slaps the wife around and slices the husband's face with a knife. After obtaining money from the couple's safe he has the wife suck him off. She is untied and raped while the husband writhes on the floor. She orgasms. After the goon has departed and things return to normal the husband goes a tad batty. Having seen the wife orgasm with a rapist he begins to alter their sex life by tying and whipping her at night.

Time passes and she gives birth to a boy child. The boy is now a young man and affluent. Luxury cars, boats and living alone in the mansion. The parents are both dead and left him a fortune. Father was killed during a boating excursion. He has an attractive young woman who adores him and calls him brother. They have been friends since childhood. In flashback we learn he is the son of the rapist. As a boy he would spy on the parents at night, seeing his mother bound on the floor forced to watch as dad does a concubine on the bed. Dad was making mom suffer as he suffered that night. We find the mother who raised him well committed suicide after years of abuse and being so shamed by the husband.

He begins to transform his huge basement into a dungeon and develops a fascination with evil as personified by Hitler. He believes all people are evil in some form and simply wear masks to hide their aggression and evil. After donning a disguise he lures dear old non-bio dad's concubine to the mansion and drugs her drink. Down in the dungeon he removes her clothes and while she's still unconscious rapes her. He ties her to the bed and tells her his real father was a serial rapist/killer and he now intends to live that life as well. He lashes her with a bull whip.

We get some interaction between him and his young lady. He throws a birthday party to celebrate his inheritance. As the party goes on he goes to get a bottle from the wine cellar. The captive chick is suspended by her wrists from the ceiling. He takes a knife and drives it into her heart then rapes her inert hanging body. A quick shower and back to the party. The police find her body in a field the next day but they suspect the boy's real father is the culprit.

On television our young man sees a young girl student talking about peoples' madness and the need for peace. Shortly thereafter another young girl is cycling down a country path. She is accosted, raped and manually strangled by the young man's real father. The dad seems to know he has a son by that night of rape although he has never seen him. The young girl from television is walking home from school and is approached by our young man in his car. He poses as a reporter wanting an interview and she agrees. He takes her to his mansion where she appears in the dungeon chair bound AOH and legs spread. He tells her all people in the world are evil and he will bring that out in her. He cleave gags her and cuts away her blouse and bra. As he threatens her with shears she admits how often she masturbates from her sexual frustration. He unties her so she can do herself while he watches.

The young man is taking a class where he sees numerous photos of nazi atrocities and lays around the house surrounded by such photos masturbating while our captive is taking a pony ride with weights attached to the ankles. When she begs for release he obliges her with a face down horizontal suspension. As time goes by her torment lessens somewhat as she's allowed some lingerie and her hands are kept tied in front. Her mask has been her sexuality and she no longer has to play goodie two shoes searching for world peace.

Our hero takes a walk with his young lady friend and they run into a female pop star whose teen fans are fawning all over her. Looks like he's set his sites on this one so he begins to watch her television performances. His schoolgirl hostage is allowed to continue her studies and admits she is now his slave. He bends her over a desk, chokes her and does her from behind. Later she is released on a beach to go home.

The female pop star and her female personal assistant are in town and are taken in by a message for a media interview. Guess who picks them up! They are whisked off to the mansion where they recognize their plight. He knocks the assistant out and chloroforms the pop tart, confining them in small cages in the dungeon. He enters and shows the pop star she has been dropped from numerous appearances and her songs are leaving the charts. Already her mask is revealed as she is more concerned with albums than being held captive in a dungeon. Her wrists are bound behind to the cage bars and he fondles her. Treating the assistant nicely, he does her from behind. Later, both women are sitting cross legged on a round table, bound and chained together. The pop star gets lashed then must sing for him. He releases the assistant and has her flog the star - her mask revealed, years of being treated like crap and now it's payback time.

Seems the fuzz are still looking for dear old dad and there's a short running chase scene. Our young man stops by the school his released captive attends and sees she is doing well. By now, the pop star is on hands and knees eating out of a dog bowl on the floor while the assistant dines in luxury at the table. In a moment of inattention our hero gets clobbered with a stool by the star who makes a run for it. She makes it into the yard where he catches her and strangles her to unconsciousness. While he drags her back in the assistant has bolted and makes it to the street. Not to worry as, yes you guessed it, dad is waiting. At the door we have a father-son reunion with dad carrying the assistant OTS. Dad spends the night in luxury he has never known.

Next day the police arrive looking for dad. In the dungeon pop star is suspended from the ceiling in a rope basket while sonny and dad have assistant bound and stretched on a table smearing her with butter while the pet dog licks and nibbles at her. Dad rapes her while son looks on and as he unloads, he strangles her. The body is found the next day. They release the star in bra and panties on a downtown tower and everyone recognizes her. Trying to reaffirm her star status she removes the bra and panties and plays to the fans. Our young man is watching from a vehicle, takes out a silenced scoped rifle and pops a cap into her chest.

He runs into his sweetheart at the beach and says he has created a world specially for her and takes her home for dinner. They go downstairs where dad is now confined in a cage and they are introduced. Son grabs her and ties her into a baby carriage AOH, legs spread and elevated. She needs to go to the john so he cuts off her panties and has her go on the floor. She is hoisted into the air and disrobed. Dad gets released and gropes her. He throws her onto the bed and rapes her. She orgasms. Dad starts to strangle her but sonny kills him.

The girl tells sonny she feels sorry for him. They have consensual sex. When he awakes she is gone but has left a note. Her mask in revealed. Despite her love for him and her deep faith, she began an incestuous relationship with her father in high school. He goes to find her and downstairs she has hanged herself out of shame. He sits in the garden and chases visions of the little girl he knew. The End - Phew!

Movie Pluses - a really well done production. Acting is first rate and the premise makes the whole thing very believable. Bondage and torment scenes are short but well staged. There is no pixelation in this as camera angles and objects in the foreground are used instead

Movie Minuses - wish the scenes had been longer. More on the torment end as well.

The Verdict - a very enjoyable nights viewing.

My Grade - B+

While reading the archives from 12/04 I was reminded of my early fantasies from TV shows like Bewitched (falling into the hands of the inquisition), Wonder Woman (of course), a Brady home invasion, and Gilligan's Island, with all those potential villains showing up. This leads me to pose an important question to the group - Ginger or Mary Ann?

Mothbrad - the "Saw III" scene is pretty long. It's like 5 or 6 minutes total. The fullscreen version unrated version shows more of the good stuff. The scene has a lot going for it. I like the fact that a male finds her this way. Completely vulnerable. He really doesn't help her either. Even though he is not torturing her (the trap is) he is not helping her. He doesn't even offer to cover her up in any way.

I've seen Beautiful Girl Hunter before, but only as a blurry bootleg. This is another one I've been meaning to upgrade. You're right, it's a very fine film for GIMPers, if you don't mind the snuff scenes, which I certainly don't.

jyydubs: Really nice job on the caps, although yeah, you probably ought to find another host, since Photobucket is very quick to delete objectionable pictures, as I found when we updated the Guestbook Archives and I saw that most of the pics that Dahlia Delis had posted had already been removed. I added as many back as I could, using my free space in place of Photobucket.

I'm going to add Saw III to my Netflix queue. It is somewhat surprising no one has mentioned that film here, since you have a totally naked woman in bondage being tortured with freezing water. It certainly applies as the type of scene that we sick fucks would get into.

BTW, I can understand wanting to get the unrated version, but why the unrated fullscreen version? I never buy fullscreen movies; they crop the image and you don't get the full theatrical aspect ratio. Wouldn't you see more with the widescreen version instead?

Mary Ann vs. Ginger: While Ginger was sexy hot, Mary Ann had that girl-next-door cuteness that I find more appealing.

JHLIPTON - I will try the photo hosting that you suggested, hopefully they will be more accomodating. Also, "Beautiful Girl Hunter" or "Star of David" is an awesome film. I had it on VHS years ago and just got a DVD release a few months ago.

RALPHUS - the full screen version of "Saw III" has more nudity. If you are going to buy it, please get that version. A lot more. The difference is amazing. So much is cut off in the widescreen matting. Same with the nude/bondage scene in "Don't Go In The House". The new DVD release actually has a comparison to illustrate.

By the way, the 'Mary Ann vs Ginger' poll is the mainstream equivalent of our 'torture vs rape' perennial.

Poll question: Much wiser men than I have wrestled with this question, and struggled to find a convincing answer. I guess if I have to choose, I gotta go with Ginger, 'cause I think it would be fun seeing that glamour doll being degraded and abused.

Sgt. Major: Glad to hear you are well. By the way, I watched Sgt. Major's Bondage Classics last weekend and fell in love with Cadet Maxine. I would choose Maxine over Ginger and Mary Ann any day.

You asked about the bondage scene in Eaten Alive; a lot of people aren't familiar with that film. It was Tobe Hooper's followup to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, which itself featured a fairly meanspirited bondage segment with Marilyn Burns. In Eaten Alive, he ties Marilyn up again, and once again, I really like the ropework.

I don't recall if HOM did much as far as tying women to beds, but if they did, I would imagine they would do it much the same way Hooper did to Marilyn here. I also really like that she was tightly gagged with several strips of black tape, too. It's one of the better mainstream bondage scenes, IMO, although I would have stripped her clothes off her and taken advantage of her while I had her tied like that. Maybe you can remake it and do it right.

BTW, check out the reissued DVD box for Eaten Alive (linked above). You think they came up with an image that might help sell the film?

I haven't seen too many hogties in mainstream films, but one that immediately comes to mind was the film Whispers in the Dark with Annabella Sciorra. I liked that scene, and it was also cool that the bad guy threatened to burn her with a lit cigarette while she tightly tied like that. It made my highlights tape, that's for sure.

SGTMAJOR's question about the tightest hogtie in mainstream, the one that comes to mind is from an 80's era anti drug-lord flic called "JAKE SPEED". There was even a good elbow bind. I don't know the name of the actress off hand. There was really no GIMP action but it was a good threat scene with a quick look at the torture chamber.

I'm fixin to buy some ZFX and Bon-Vue titles and found the best prices at a place called "AdultDVDExplorer". Have any of you dealt with these folks? Are these maybe loqua boots?

I would also appreciate a recommendation for a Japanese title with an interrogation theme involving some electroplay

I don't think electroplay is all that common in Japanese movies -- certainly not in the ones I watch.

My favorite film from 2005, Shark 231 (Rape Investigation), has some good scenes of pretty Sayaka Miura, playing a special agent, getting zapped with a stun gun. (I have posted a link to the cover art in my URL). The code for this one is SHKD-231, and I know you can still find it at www.saveonav.com.

The only other film that comes to my mind is Industrial Spy, with Jyuri Wakabayashi (I have a review in the Reviews section). In this one, Jyuri's hands are tied to a jail cell, and devices are used to give her some electric shocks. But there is no audio effect to support the electroplay devices and the scene isn't very good.

I can't think of much else, and I'm not sure either of the above scenes would meet a pure definition of an "interrogation" scene.

I have never ordered from that site, but the above link (if it works) is a discussion of them from ADT. Unless quantities or a short time sale is going on, I would only order one title and see how they do. They do have cheap prices.

Just wondering, does anyone here know of any amateur videos that show women giving real births, preferably in the nude? It's just something about hearing a woman scream in pain while giving birth that I find exciting.

Also I have a few movies that I could add to the Electro shock movie list, not sure how to do that.

I've never read the book nor did I know the details of the real life case, so I wasn't quite prepared to see what I saw. It's the most repugnant mainstream movie I've ever seen.

The actress who plays Meg, Blythe Auffarth, is a delicious piece of meat and the torments she goes through if they don't win her Oscar at least should have her win an Olympic gold medal for physical endurance. At first she is tied up by the wrists, blindfolded, gagged and is forced to stand on a bunch of books. One by one the books are removed giving her less support and further cutting into her wrists. She is also stripped, beaten, cut, mutilated, humiliated and raped.

The torture scenes keep escalating. In the final third of the movie, Meg is surrounded by her aunt, played by veteran actress Blanche Baker, and the vicious neighbor kids and you see Meg being anally raped. Then the aunt decides to brand her so that she is no longer desirable to men. They brand "I FUCK. FUCK ME" on her stomach. But then the aunt realizes that Meg may still desire men, so to kill that emotion she decides to perform a female castration by burning off her clitoris. At that point I could feel the chill everyone had in the audience.

A while ago, there was a poll in this forum that asked if torture scenes would bother us members. I answered no. After seeing this film I changed my mind. When it got to the scene that the aunt gets a blow torch to burn Meg's clitoris, that made my skin crawl. Although what you see is the aunt holding the torch and then you hear the scream, that was too much for me.

Poor beautiful Meg is pulverized and tortured to the point from looking like a hot babe to something that makes me want to throw up.

This is a sadistic movie. There's not really much nudity. She's stripped but you don't get to see the goodies because they film it up close. There is a brief rape scene though.

I have to mention the rape is unexpected. The hero goes into the basement and sees Megan being violated. After she tries to escape Aunt Ruth has one of her boys anally rape her and asks if anybody else wants a turn at her. Ruth's younger son wants to but his Ma says no because it would be like incest with him mixing his semen with his brothers. Not much nudity in this scene, just like ass cheeks but no tits or pussy. But still it was too depraved to me.

The director was really lousy showing some prurient scenes. There's one scene when Meg is tied up standing up and a guy feels her but rather than grope her on the front of her chest the kid runs his hand up and down on her side. And it's only like 20 seconds.

The director really mixed up his priorities. Instead of lingering on Blythe Auffarth/Meg's goodies when she's tied up, he lingers instead on dripping snot coming out of her nose. A scene with snot lasts for like 4 minutes but tits get 4 seconds. Go figure.

As just an entertainment, I thought a lot of the non-torture scenes were uninteresting and even laughable. Not in the same league as "Irreversible" or Baise-Moi."

Despite that, there are a few good non torture scenes in the movie. If this was a more respected movie, Baker's sick aunt would rank as one of the top movie psychos along with Hannibal Lecter and Norman Bates.

I had the privilege to tell Baker this in person since she and her director, Gregory Wilson, were there for the screening. I got their picture and autographs. Here's the pic. Sorry about the quality.

In the tiny theater that I saw the film in, at least one person walked out. The rest stayed. And when it was over somebody kept repeating "Sick...SICK!". He probably wouldn't have said it if they knew Baker and the director were in the audience. I think a lot of the audience members were associates of the cast and crew.

The other good thing was Blythe Auffarth as Meg. She is easy on the eyes and hopefully she'll have a spread in Maxim or Stuff one day.

As for GIMP in mainstream movies goes we have political correctness to thank for the current sad state of films being put out. Hollywood would rather produce a movie featuring a serial rapist going around doing his thing without nudity and then in the end show him getting reamed himself by a guy and then show nudity. Hmmm...come to think of it they actually already did make such a picture.

Beautiful Girl Hunter was a pretty good flick. One thing left out of the reviews I read was the little bit about our hero bangs the "famous singer's personal assistant" and how there is kind of a role reversal between the singer and the assistant with the singer being kept in the nude while the assistant gets special treatment in the dungeon.

My favorite site of the moment is the one posted above in my URL. Hot looking models, forced stripping, true detective magazine themes. The downside though is that they fail to deliver full scene videos though.

Here's an example. One of their photo series is about a beautiful kidnapped naked girl forlornly placing her clothing into a cardboard box that her kidnapper is mailing back to her parents with a videotaped ransom demand. For me that's hot but there is nothing shown of her kidnapping, being forced to strip out of her clothes or anything else. The video version of this scene is only 5meg and just shows her standing there naked with some voice over of the kidnapper making his video ransom demand, then shows her holding her "kidnapped sign", then flashes to show her tied up. Well, why not film the whole scene?!

This site has Crissy Moran, Christina Carter, Kayla Paige and some other exceptionally hot models in detective mag themed shoots but it falls flat because the photo series/videos of these shoots don't include the whole scene from start to finish.

Recently I joined funnybdsm.com. Big mistake. They have actually deleted some of their earlier work from the site. The new stuff isn't that intense and is leaning more towards consensual.

Forced4sex.com is branching out. While they still have their weekly update of one full Attackers DVD they have created some sister sites that have different themes with the same formula of updating with one full DVD once a week.

According to Fangoria, the DVD will be coming out already on December 4, a mere month and a half away. Two audio commentaries, but unfortunately, no additional footage, so those of us hoping for an unrated director's cut will be out of luck. Still, as it is, this is exciting news. sgtmajor - on the mainstream hogtie thing - here's a title that may be of interest - only thing is it is Korean mainstream - "Memories of Murder" has a scene in it I have not seen replicated before or since - the plot is pretty standard stuff, 2 detectives at odds over the course of an investigation of chicks getting whacked in rural South Korea - about 3/4s through the film a Korean schoolgirl is walking down a wooded path and is overpowered by the unseen villain - she is hogtied, gagged then carried while still hogtied through the woods in a semi over the shoulder thing - she's then placed on the ground, administered a drug to keep her calm - next day the body is found by the fuzz. Not a long scene by any means but nicely done. Mixing a hogtie with a carry was an instant stiffy.

I think it has to be asked: were you bothered by the fact the victim was supposed to be a minor? I'm not asking the question in a judgmental way. Rather, I am curious to know how obvious it was that she was supposed to be under age, and whether that affected some of the scenes?

What I did find odd is that the actor who plays her "boyfriend" does look like a 14 year old and he's a lot shorter and younger looking than she is.

In a way, there almost seemed to be a pedophile subtext with Meg as the child molester.

We did it in the mid of August and it was blazing hot outside, so and shimmering you may see on her body was actual straining. This brings me to a sort of follow-up question to A Canadian's inquiry for the forum. And I'm not being judgmental either. But does anyone here feel guilty or uncomfortable about getting turned on by a movie based on real events? A girl actually went through all that stuff in "The Girl Next Door" and died. Or do you just block out reality in viewing such movies and see an actress getting the business? I usually do the latter, but I may not be able to do so with "The Girl Next Door." Just curious.

I remember last year when I went to the theatre to see Karla, the movie about Canadian psychos Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo (they raped and murdered different girls). I was very nervous about seeing this one, as this case is extremely well known in central Canada, and I felt a bit guilty looking for thrills from this particular film. Fortunately, in this case, the victims didn't look anything like the real victims. Also, there were few thrills to be had, as the movie sucked. But I was worried.

On the other hand, I have watched The Accused with Jodie Foster plenty of times, and never felt the least bit guilty. That's probably because while I know the case is based on actual events (in fact, I think the Jodie Foster character ultimately committed suicide), I'm not familiar with the real story. I wouldn't recognize anyone who was involved if I met them on the street.

So I think familiarity with the real people and events is probably an important factor.

Sgt. Major: Overall, I enjoyed the Bondage Classics movie. I liked the first story with the thieving hotel maid. I wasn't too keen on the second story, as I'm not into girl-on-girl scenes, and I don't like tattoos. But the third scene with Maxine was outstanding. I would have no trouble recommending this movie to my fellow GIMPers.

VM: Any sense when we might see the next ZFX releases on DVD? We gotta be getting close to some new releases.

I don't want to come off as insensitive to someone's misfortunes. Certainly, what happened to these women is tragic and horrible and should not be celebrated or condoned. And yet, they did happen, and reading about them and watching depictions of what they went through can't change the past. It's sad, but ultimately, there's nothing we can do about it. We can still be sorry they happened, while at the same time we can also feel that if they had to suffer, at least some good can ultimately come from retelling their stories. I know that sounds perverse, but it's how I feel.

9/11 was a terrible moment in history, but I just recently saw United 93 and I thought it was a great movie. And yet that film was controversial because it was based on true events and was made only 5 years after the actual event. Not the same thing, I know, since nobody's jacking off to a 9/11 movie, but they're still being entertained, even though real people died on that airplane.

Would getting turned on by The Girl Next Door be much different? I don't think so. You can't tell your dick not to get stiff any more than you can avoid laughing at a funny joke or crying during a funeral. It's a basic human reaction, and I don't feel like I should have to apologize for an erection, even if it's for a subject that may be abhorrent to a majority of the population.

Hmmmm, to tell you the truth, I can't rememeber a time when that has happened. I search out the types of vids that are acting out a fantasy, preferably in a titillating storyline. I can't even think of a time when I've seen a movie that is based on actual events that has a Gimp-worthy scene. So... any answer would be pure conjecture. I do think I would be VERY uncomfortable watch a movie like The Girl Next Door for the same reason I was very uncomforatble with seeing Brooke Shields in Pretty Baby - it's the youth of the character that would bug me out more than any sort of Gimp-like activity.

About the screencaps: Thanks for the recognition, Ralphus, and I hope that Gimpers found them entertaining. It's a new genre for me that has really captured my imagination and provided an unbelievable amount of Cheetos. It blew me away so much to see these movies, that I wanted to share with folks. It looks like there is a link in the Gimp links for DVD sources that can get just about any title, true originals, from Dogma, Baby, and V!

Guilt or discomfort from viewing a film based on real life events. As for me, not at all. Why? Simply put, I had no part in it. A person certainly should feel guilt or discomfort from time to time but only due to their own behavior or actions. We Gimpers, for the most part, revel when a film like "Ilsa" comes out. All the evil, torment and degradation of Nazi Germany packed into one 95 minute film. All the evidence is there that such atrocities were perpetrated on real folk. But hey, that's entertainment. I know the analogy is not perfect but it's close.

Perhaps that day will come when a flick manages to make a personal connection with the victim you cannot overcome. I've yet to see such an effort. In the meantime, bring on all the witchcraft torture, rape and torment movies you can. All those things happened as well.

As for the poll, I think it depends on proximity. The better you know the victim, the more recently the attack happened, etc, would spoil the film for me. I can read true-life serial killer books, looking at the victims, and thinking, "Oh, I hope he raped that one a long time before doing her in." But not anything too close to me.

Years ago I rented "LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT". I fast-forwarded to the good part, put it on my comp, and enjoyed every repeat viewing. Not long ago, I bought the remix DVD and watched the entire film for the first time. It affected me so deeply that I nearly cried! It left me feeling really disturbed and I identified with the Victims. Taking a fresh look here, I now see that Wes Craven truly is a master of horror. He pulled it off because horror is a perception of the moment and can strike in interesting ways,at any time. - HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

RALPHUS: HERE'S AN ADDITION TO THE ELECTROTORTURE DATABASE - "WALKING TALL-PART 2" About midway into the movie, a bar owner pimp questions one of his hookers to find out what old Buford Pusser is up to. While she is bound naked to a chair, he applies battery charger leads to her tits. Nudity is limited by above the chest closeups and rear shots, but it's a wonderfully dark scene complete with a shower of sparks demonstration, making for a great build-up. What follows is one of the best screams I can remember (1 min.)

Because the aforementioned clip does feature a real incident, it kind of ties in with the poll question. I know the clip should outrage me. I don't buy into the whole she's-just-a-dumb-whore-who-deserved-what-she-got line of thinking. I have friends who are prostitutes. They are nice women and it is an honorable, although dangerous, profession. We all do things for money. I am not, however, outraged by the clip and in fact found it stimulating.

I remember some "inappropriate" comments made in this same forum regarding the "McDonald's Incident" too. It is very easy to objectify someone in a short clip or when represented by an actor in a film. If we actually knew the person, even as distantly as an interview segment, we'd probably feel sympathy for what they went through. Seeing them only as "someone who has something down to them" is a different story. It's impersonal. That I think makes the difference. To trot out a Hollywood cliché, "Hostel IV: This Time it's Personal", with the true story of someone we knew, wouldn't be nearly as entertaining as many found the most recent chapter.

To summarize, no I don't feel guilty, bad, etc. when watching depictions of real events. Watching "United 93" wouldn't effect me the same way as it would a person who knew someone on that plane, either. As others have stated, it all depends on how close you are to the real-life victims.

As for the poll question (which I think I'm allowed to answer, as I've been lurking more than posting lately), I can't give a blanket answer. Some real stories (when made into movies) make me feel bad. Some turn me on. It's not easy to explain which ones, or why one works for me, and another doesn't. The Girl Next Door has an extra layer, in that it's based on a book based on reality, so I think I'll be able to just enjoy that as a movie.

I asked my wife this question 'cause she is a real sleep junkie. She is an authority on sleep deprivation. Her immediate response was to keep her cold. Hostel 2: I've been watching TNA Impact on Spike TV, and there have been a number of commericals pushing next Tuesday's release on DVD of Hostel 2. Looks like the producers are counting on the DVD audience (myself included) to discover this film in significant numbers.

If it's older than five years, and as long as it's in the credits that this film, although a work of fiction, is based on actual events, I don't think I'd have a problem. Something say, a fictional story about a female POW in the '91 Gulf War (there were two in reality), or a captured spy in WW II Germany or Stalin's Russia, I don't think I'd have a problem personally. Real events, if properly handled, can be very interesting stories, as long as it's pointed out that the work is based on real events, though the film itself is fiction. Just my $.02

MasterDetective: The movie you described is from Paradise Road, a women's prison movie set in Japan during World War II. The victim was played by Cate Blanchett and it's a GREAT mainstream torture scene, since she's forced to stay in that painful position for hours or else endure the spikes if she leans forward or backward. Leave it to the Japanese to come up with an ingenious torture idea like that.

I have watched movies based on real life events. It is interesting to say the least. Really I can block it out and enjoy it for what I'm watching. If I didn't I would be getting off just by watching the news.

I would say this is one of the more interesting polls on the group lately.

As a fact, when I firstly watched "History of O", I looked for that De Roissy Chateau, in order to be a member of the company :) Ok, I'm kidding about this last one...

It depends actually. If I'm removed from the case, know nothing about the person or even know what they look like, it's possible to keep it in the fantasy realm. But if I see the real person who endure this, I can't, it becomes too real at that point. Like the McDonald's phone prank situation. In my mind it sounded really hot right up to the moment I saw an interview with the girl it happened to. Then nothing.

I guess it's no longer fantasy when there's someone really hurt over it.

First. In my opinion, there is nothing been depicted in any movie that has not at sometime been done for real to some poor young woman over the past 300 years or so, somewhere in the would. Therefore to some extent any and everything you watch was real at sometime!

My problem is. If I watch a torture scene and it 'looks really fake' I throw my hands in the air, shout at the TV and turn it off. Gary Roberts is the greatest thing since sliced flesh. In case anyone would like to know, I have purchased CD's from his site and am very pleased with these products. A funny story...He actually provides a help desk phone number. Once, after waiting an inordinate amount of time, I called. He answered the phone personally, apologized, and said he was going "down there to shake 'em up". Now that's customer service!

I think having the shock administered at random intervals would be better. If it is strictly periodic, then she can relax somewhat after each shock, knowing she has some time interval during which she will be unmolested. Keep her guessing!

In answer to the gimp poll I can say that I have no problems looking at parts of movies that I think are hot even if they are based on real life events. The key word here is fantasy. I make films that guys jack off to and some of them (many titles not released are quite rough). When I cane a model severely until she is very marked there are many things not seen by the viewer. Is an actress who plays a girl that was ass raped doing anything wrong? No neither is a guys who get a stiff dick watching her. Its when you can't tell the line between what's real and what fantasy. Many times I can only shake my head in wonder when I read some of the posts here and on other forms. Being a former cop I can tell you there is nothing at all attractive about rape when you see it first hand. Yet the rape fantasy is still my favorite.

The previously mentioned shower scene is sure to replace that Norman Bates scene in future conversations of reasons why to shudder in the shower. There's also another scene where the woman is tied up and has to reach into a vat of acid in order to get hold of a key that will release her from her perilous state (or so she's promised - never trust a guy in a mask). I may even buy this movie when it's reduced to $10.

If you ever watch CNBC On The Money with Melissa Francis you'll notice a lot of stories related to the porn industry. They always put them at the end of the show to make viewers hang around. They love to use us for ratings....while they are criticizing our activities. Gotta love it! Melissa Francis from CNBC and Lori Dhue from Fox...two babes I'd love to see ball gagged and bopped.

I don't see the stories as often as I used to, but I can remember the tragic news accounts that would profile a man who lost his job, his family, his savings -- everything -- because of his addiction to porn. He just had to have porn, morning, noon, and night, and he lost it all. Like most people, I used to laugh when I saw these stories.

According to the gospels, Jesus said, "The poor you shall always have with you." Same thing holds true for 'the idiots'.

Slave Island 7: Yes, it has whippings and rape, and scenes of women being walked on all fours like dogs and eating out of dog bowls. It also stars Ayumu Kase, who is most likely going to be my pick in December for best actress of 2007. I still have to see that rape movie with Maria Ozawa that Hiccup recently reviewed (I'm a little slow feeding my porn addiction), but at this point Ayumu is the clear frontrunner.

I believe there was an adult movie once called “The Taking of Emily” or some such title which told the story of a young woman taken captive by two men who tie her to a bed and rape her repeatedly. One of them begins to fall for her and convinces his pal to release her after which she promptly gets a shotgun and kills them both. I did see that one a long ago and seem to recall reading afterward somewhere in a review that it was based on a true story. I didn't know that at the time and was never aware of the case in any event if it was. I haven't seen it since and I can't really say how it would affect me now knowing it was based on a real-life incident, assuming it ever really was.

But even mainstream movies like “Titanic” make me feel uncomfortable when I watch them. I can watch a movie like “The Godfather” knowing that mob violence is a real thing but I also know that the specific events depicted in that movie never really took place although there may have been incidents like them in real life. However, I do know that real men, women and children met horrible fates when the Titanic was sunk and I do not need to see the faces or hear the screams of suffering people knowing full on that such things really happened to real people who truly suffered.

I just don't find that entertaining.

Now, a movie like “Bugsy” that portrays the real events of a historical person who met a violent end doesn't bother me. First, he wasn't a sympathetic character in real life and the only real violence comes at the very end and is not drawn out. Also, movies like “Hollywoodland” that depict the real life mystery of one mans death are fine by me too. I guess I'm willing to accept a certain amount of violence in my dramas if I feel it's not being done in a gratuitous manner and is really there to further the plot. Or movies like “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ that supposedly based on true cases but which are so far glamorized beyond the real events or simply get their main plot ideas from them doesn't really bother me either. The events they depict are so far removed from what probably happened that I don't really connect them in my mind I suppose.

But movies that dwell on the real life suffering of people to make a buck offend me, at least to some extent.

So, to sum up my feelings on our poll question, I’d have to say yes, it probably would bother me to watch a movie about torture and sadism if it were depicting real-life events in the manner closely approximating what really occurred.

One reason that I share such demented stories myself, is that the fantasies people do have can come out freely here, and people should at least I hope, they would feel less agressive and violent in real life. Holding in our fantasies is like keeping sweets away from kids. They grow up wanting it more.

I love those Detective magazines. Used to see them at the Drug Store and Convenience Store when I was a kid. In the 60s you used to see the girls clothed and tied the way the tormenter would do it and in line with the cover story. You could usually see the same girls posted on different issues. Maybe they were the magazine secretaries that for some extra money would be tied and photographed for some extra money.

Starting in the late 70s they got lazy and would just put in a picture of a bondage shoot.

I don't collect a lot of the later mags, and indeed, it seems like a lot of them bypassed the bondage altogether and simply showed photo shoots featuring women with overly exaggerated expressions having a gun pointed at them, or something cheesy along those lines.

Only reason I chose today's pic was because I was looking for something that corresponded with the "real life" theme of the current poll.

Re: The Taking of Christina: Ah, that was a great movie from the 70s, mean and sadistic, back when they could show hardcore bondage rape and get away with it. The victim was a real cutie, too. I would love to upgrade my copy, but I won't buy the DVD because I can almost guarantee the best scene (where she's tied to the bed and raped) will have been removed because of the political climate of today's generation. It's so sad that those Golden Age adult releases will never see the light of day fully uncut, so we'll have to rely on blurry, 2nd or 3rd generation bootlegs to see the good stuff.

Been away for a while and was pleasantly surprised to come back to the world of perverts and find all the thoughtful and candid responses to the poll question. I posed that question because real-life events normally don't bother me, especially when portrayed in GIMP scenes. But the story of Sylvia Marie Likens really affected me, even though she died before I was born. I guess what troubles me is the age of the victim. For me at least, it doesn't matter if her character is played by an adult actress. I can't escape the thought that a real child was tortured.

That's probably why I won't watch Karla, even if was a GIMP-worthy flick. However, I may not have any qualms about seeing the real-life Karla on the "wrong" side of the video camera in a snuff film.

Regarding the poll question, I would probably have to take the position that many others here have taken, which is, what you're see in the film *is* acted anyway (even if based on real events), and there's little that you can do in a film that hasn't already been acted out somewhere on this planet that has 6 billion+ people on it.. So no, seeing the dramatization of "real-life" events doesn't really bug me.

But on the a similar note, I've met women who have been raped for real, and sad and unfortunate as that is, some of their stories can be quite arousing (and the few women I've had tell me such stories know, I think, that such stories are arousing to men). So in that sense, yes there is certainly a definite sense of "guilt" in hearing about such things, even though the stories can be quite ... well... arousing.

There has been quite a response to the poll question. Although I already gave my response, some of the others reminded me of an important point. A friend of mine (who is as deviate as I) once said. "With psycho-sexual behavior, if you can think it...someone has already done it". In this respect, every fantasy is someone else's reality.

While that was true, I have also discovered that the two-disc special edition, with a remastered print of the movie, has also been released on regular DVD. While I have pretty much abandoned the purchase of regular DVDs for mainstream movies, as I wait for the format wars to be settled and high-definition to take over, I may have to make an exception in this case. But only in this case (I think).

Also, as many GIMPers probably know, Hostel 2 was released on DVD today. In my case, I plan to rent it sometime this weekend.

Geez, that's 4 movies new on DVD that are on my list, alongside Spine, Hostel: Part 2 and The Girl Next Door (December 4). And as far as movies based on real events, yeah, shoot, the Salem Witch trials and that whole era was based on fact. Personally, I love films that feature old time inquisition tortures. Yes, it was horrible that the women suffered so badly, but how many of us secretly wish they lived in that time and could see women tortured and burned at the stake as entertainment? Or at least had a time machine and could go back and visit that time for a while? And since no time machine exists, seeing movies and scenes like what Inquisition Live creates works for me. I wish there were more.

Not going to rent any time soon. Only the least good-looking of the girls was nude. She had a great scene, but I would have preferred the other girls nude, too, and made to suffer for a lot longer than they did. Tiengag - there have been a number of films loosely, and I do mean loosely, based on our buddy Harvey - for some reason no one has ever wanted to tackle that subject head on - that seems a shame to me as that story has all the makings of a Gimp classic - bondage, torment, rape, murder and photographs - and yes, I recall seeing those photos years ago in various detmags but incredibly the first publication to print them right after Harvey's execution was the December '59 issue of Time - they were of course merely those three vanilla photos everyone is familiar with. In the absense of an actual link, I'm reporting on this very important story that came to me via e-mail this morning. It appears that the 2257 record-keeping statute, the same one that has plagued adult producers and webmasters and caused undue suffering, financial ruin and jail time to people who were just doing their jobs, has been ruled unconstitional by a 3-judge panel in Ohio. Rick Masters e-mailed me and said it's exceedingly good news, but to expect an appeal by the Feds though.

It's early, but I can't find this actual story on the web anywhere...yet. Nothing on AVN's website, nothing on the Free Speech Coalition's site, but expect this story to catch fire and make big headlines. I'm not celebrating yet, but this is a very good precedent for freedom-loving Americans everywhere. Linked above is another site commenting on the ruling that may shed some light on what may happen.

6th Circuit Court of Appeals Rules 2257 Unconstitutional Connection Distributing Scores Landmark Victory

CINCINNATI - The United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit ruled today in the case of Connection Distributing Co. et. al. v. Keisler that the federal 2257 record-keeping statute is unconstitutional and overbroad.

"This is huge, huge news for the entire industry," attorney J. Michael Murray told AVN. "It means that the statute has been declared unconstitutional in its entirety, at least in the 6th Circuit. This is the result we've all been aiming for; it's a monumental victory. We've been fighting this battle for twelve long years, and this is the third time I argued the case on the 6th Circuit. Finally, we got a court to agree with us."

A sister company to Cleveland-based video distributor GVA-TWN, the now-defunct Connection published approximately a dozen swinger's magazines with personal ads containing sexually explicit photographs.

Connection originally filed suit against the government in September 1995, challenging the constitutionality of the 2257 statute on First Amendment grounds. Following a long, drawn-out series of appeals, today's ruling firmly decides the case in Connection's favor.

Three circuit judges weighed in on today's panel ruling. In the 27-page opinion, the court stated: "We conclude that the statute is overbroad and therefore violates the First Amendment, and accordingly we reverse the district court's judgment and remand with instructions to enter summary judgment for the plaintiffs."

Murray praised Connection publisher and CEO of GVA-TWN Rondee Kamins for her persistence in pursuing the case. Kamins was one of three individual plaintiffs represented in the suit. The other two plaintiffs are anonymous individuals who sought to place explicit ads in Connection publications, arguing that the requirements of 2257 law compromised their privacy and freedom of expression.

"Rondee Kamins has fought this battle for twelve years, and she is a hero for what she has done in that long, long fight; she never gave up," Murray said. "This was our third trip to the US Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and Rondee Kamins is owed an enormous debt of gratitude from the entire industry for this hard-fought battle she waged over these many years."

"We're ecstatic about the opinion," Kamins told AVN. "I cannot say enough about Mike Murray and his staff. It was their terrific argument presented to the courts that made this whole thing possible. It's been a long, tough road; we were in and out of court so many times. We were in federal court in Cleveland, we were in appeals court in Cincinnati. I'm just thrilled."

First Amendment attorney Reed Lee pointed out that very little of the court's opinion focused specifically on the swinger's magazines.

"For the first time time in at least a dozen years, we have judges that are digging deep to look at the fundamentals of section 2257," Lee noted. "And as we have always thought, when they do so, they will find them wanting. When the analysis gets down to the level that these judges assess 2257 on, we're beyond the particulars of swingers magazines vs. videos vs. internet – this is a very fundamental level, and it's holding that the statute is flawed in the way it imposes burdens on everybody that has anything to do with this type of expression."

Although the ruling applies only in the 6th Circuit (Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee), Lee feels the case sets an important and gratifying precedent in the battle against 2257.

"The government says that its interest behind 2257 is in combating child porn," Lee explained. "The problem is that virtually all of what 2257 applies to is not child porn. Each of the [three judges'] opinions today holds that 2257 is not narrowly tailored to an interest in suppressing child porn, because it applies to so much that is not child porn. This has been one of the fundamental objections to section 2257 all along."

Do you feel guilty or uncomfortable about getting turned on by a movie based on real events? Or can you just block out reality in viewing such movies and see an actress getting the business?

Movies are movies- It's already not real if the actress doesn't look at the camera- (hint: a documetary style scene with a pleading look at the camera- could be interesting)

So in general, I don't have a problem with those kind of movies. And as I am a special effects geek, I see room to go beyond what films get away with these days (leaning on good FX work, of course) Which is why I like Rick's stuff- he attempts the over the top scenes.

I was encouraged to see that there are still a few judges....albeit at the higher court levels....that can distinguish law from persecution. It should never have gone this far, and it certainly should not have ever been proposed by an attorney worth his salt.

They'll try to continue the drama with threats of appeals, but I suspect its a done deal now. The opposition will need to adjust their tactics and come at us from another angle. They won't give up trying to shut us down, but they'll need to figure out another way.

I know I've been missing here for a while but I felt my ears burning what with Tiengag's post about Harvey. Sloth, you are of course correct my friend. I am most certainly "on board".

As to films about my namesake, the best which we discussed awhile back was Dragnet 66, the pilot for second Dragnet series back in the 1960's. There are a couple of nice shots, especially the famous opening scene that featured the beautiful Thordis Brandt. Unfortunately, the movie concentrates on the investigation by Sgt's Friday and Gannon. What we really need is "The Harvey Glatman Story" produced and directed by Rick Masters or the Sgt Major. (I'd gladly vote for Jeff Gord as well, but I think he'd find our hero lacking in tecnological savvy).

As to the current poll, I don't much care if the subject matter is based on real life or not, I have nothing to feel guilty about except maybe a dirty mind. Speaking strictly for myself, I kind of enjoy the reality angle. Sometimes I wish they'd broadcast a really good true crime series on the history channel, complete with "reenactments" but I'm not holding my breath!

Glatman - I think the only real option is some close to mainstream indie producer/director - Chuck Parello, who did "The Hillside Strangler" with C. Thomas Howell, has shown a willingness to mix nudity with bondage is a name that comes to mind - I'd be wary that in order to justify the effort they would come up with the "delves into the mind of the killer" thing - try this, delve into the mind of the victims in their tormented final minutes - has Hollywood learned nothing from "Bloodsucking Freaks"? :). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this latest ruling on 2257 is not the end, or even close. It is a small step in the right direction; a step that may well be reversed yet again by the supreme court.

As sure as hell, that is where it is going to go next when the current bunch of wannabee moralist nutters appeal.

If you read on further on that very same page of the ACLU site, there is a discussion going on between adult and FBI representatives.

FBI is now stating; - Quote: that the next wave of inspections will be on websites.

So the current ruling hardly stopped them? In addition, they can still apply the same 2257 law in any other circuit and one would need to fight it and get the court in your own circuit to accept that ruling as well. If it is based on sound judgement, they normally will.

Meantime, it costs a shitload of legal money and time to get it approved.

Nevertheless, it "IS" a significant gain for the people who fought that particular battle, and it may well become part of our own Federal fight which is about to go to Washington's Federal Circuit Court.

In an attempt to scare us off from suing the crap out of them, the defendants (County and others) in our case tried to insist on all 2257 records being released to them.

Don't worry it ain't going to happen.

In the first instance it would be illegal as they are not appointed DOJ inspectors.

In the second, it would be against the constitution rights of the ladies, and thirdly it will be over my fucking dead body. Finally, those records have absolutely fuck all to do with the case they are being sued for. We are suing them for denying "US" our constitutional rights.

Now, with this Cleveland ruling, they have even more problems methinks. Not only do we have the above mentioned facts, but we can now point to that ruling and basically say that they are asking for what is tantamount to illegal records insisted upon by the government who drafted an unconstitutional law. What a ridiculous can of worms it has all become.

Not so long ago, a so-called "moralist" Christian columnist here in Toronto, named Michael Coren, wrote an article about al-Qaeda and its views on the western world. I'm going from memory, but Coren essentially wrote that while he disagreed with 9/11 and the other terrorist killings (thank goodness for that), he felt the Osama crowd is basically right when it talks about the immorality and decadence in our society. Easy mistake to make, since a few years back, Elisha starred in a comedy that had the exact same title. You're probably thinking of a film that came out recently called Captivity where she actually does get tied and tortured, but thankfully, not killed.

I like Elisha, and the good thing is she seems to gravitate towards roles in which she plays a victim (House of Wax, numerous bondage scenes in "24" on TV). Someone needs to get her in a film where they actually know what they're doing, bondage-wise. She can only stay young and cute for a limited time, so they can't keep wasting these opportunities.

Jefferson: Thanks for all the info on Flesh + Blood. That's one I've been curious about for some time, but never got around to seeing. Jennifer Jason Leigh was another one who went for risky roles (how many times has she been raped onscreen?) but she's too old now to get cast as victims anymore. Too bad.

Cast a cute actress (there are thousands out there), take her damn clothes off (again, most young women today will strip on film to get a role) TIE HER UP AND GAG HER (essential) and then let your nasty imagination take over. That's Jeff Gord's point of view anyway; but then I have always been a little strange by all accounts.

The film also had some serious drawbacks. For one thing, the hottest actress in the movie, Vera Jordanova, turns out to be one of the villains, so she doesn't get tortured at all.

The second hottest actress, Bijou Phillips gets tortured and killed, but even she is allowed to die with some dignity -- in other words, fully dressed. That was wrong. There was the nice scene where Bijou was gagged and strapped to a metal chair, wearing a pink bustier and fishnet stockings, and a villain is threatening her with a circular saw. But the villain never touched her clothes. In my mind, if you're a psycho who has spent huge dollars for the privilege of torturing a young beauty, you have to get your money's worth by checking out the goods.

I did like the scene where the nutty woman was gagged and suspended upsidedown, naked. The fact that she travelled along a pulley in this position made it even better. Too bad there weren't more scenes like this in the movie.

Frankly, I preferred the cold shower scene in Saw III over anything I saw in Hostel: Part II (thanks, jyydubs).

I think your enjoyment of the film is probably going to be similar to watching a regular bondage film; that is, if you like the girl, and bad things happen to her, you're probably going to like the film. It sounds like the two women you liked the best didn't get the treatment you wanted them to get, thus the low mark. And that's a very valid criticism.

Like you, I think Vera Jordanova is gorgeous, but I wasn't bothered by the fact that she never got tied up and tortured. Actually, that would have been a way to improve the ending of the film, rather than the macabre comic ending that Roth came up with. Tying up Vera and making her suffer would have been poetic justice, and who knows? That might have made the crowd cheer at the end. I know I would have been happy.

Okay, Bijou Phillips wasn't stripped. I hear ya. Hey, I like naked chicks in bondage as much as any perv here, but that wasn't a fatal flaw. She was at least wearing a sexy bustier and fishnet stockings. Would it have been better if she were naked, or at least topless? Sure, nudity always helps. But I'm not one who thinks it's essential to have skin to excite me. Distress excites me. Tears excite me. Screaming in pain excites me. At least she was tied up, gagged and scared. The scene was too short, but it was still hot.

For me, the most attractive of the girls, the one who rings my bell, is Lauren German. I'm guessing since you put Vera first and Bijou second, she would only come in third for you. While she may not be as beautiful as the other two, she has a nice girl-next-door thing going for her that was appealing. I also think she gave a great performance as a victim. I totally believed her and could understand her fear. Plus, she got tied up not once but twice, got beaten up, bruised, threatened and nearly raped. That's entertainment.

Another criticism of the film is that the homeliest girl got the best bondage scene. I agree. Heather Matarazzo is the least attractive of the 4 beauties in the film. But how great did she look hanging upside-down naked, her mouth stuffed with a thick gag, and led into the room on a pulley like a piece of meat? Could the scene have been better? Yes, it should have been Lauren instead. It was still an amazing scene for a mainstream film.

I'd like to hear what other GIMPers have to say. Now that you can rent it for 3 or 4 bucks, there's no excuse for not checking out one of the best GIMP films of the year. Let's hear from you.

Thees van kemp: The Dixie Chicks don't do much for me, but if I had to choose one I'd like to see tied up, it would probably be Natalie Maines. Among country singers, I'd prefer Shania Twain for a GIMP scene.

Okay I admit it. I was one of those people who boycotted "Hostel 2". The first movie had so much potential but I got really frustrated with it having primarily male victims. After that, other titles of the new torture-fest genre were such a letdown that I put the whole genre on double-secret probation. BTW-DO NOT waste your time on "Turistas". it was a bad, bad, bad movie, obviously an attempted cash-in with absolutely no delivery. There, that's a quick review for ya.

Perhaps we need a reminder that these movies are not made for people with our taste. They are made for mainstream audiences who aren't trying to satisfy a fetish or are even aware that they may have one. The producers don't think we're stupid. It flipped me out when they cut his finger off like that!" It's the shock value thing and it works.

jhlipton: Thanks for the stills from House On the Edge of the Park. That was one rare scene that made my highlights tape despite having no bondage whatsoever. The reason? The combination of David Hess as the villain (one of the all-time great bad guys in the history of cinema) and that blonde cutie-pie as the victim. Plus that, it's such a nasty, mean-spirited scene, one that perfectly personifies the concept of Girls In Merciless Peril. Nothing sanitized here. She's sweet and innocent, even a virgin, and he slices her up with a knife just for the sadistic thrill of it. Not surprisingly, the film was directed by Ruggero Deodato, a man who's made a career out of making "video nasties" that exploit women. We need more filmmakers like him.

Has anyone ever tried to reprint any of these classic paperbacks? I know that there were a couple of magazines dedicated to dirty books/exploitation novels (from memory, the folk behind Norton Records/Kicks magazine had some interest in this area). But there are two scenes where a woman is rigged to a deathtrap, and forced to dig out a razor which has been surgically implanted in her belly. Ms Brand is chained by either one leg or her neck to a tree throughout most of the flick. 2/3 of the way through, the villain kidnaps a somewhat better looking woman, chains her up too, and cuts out her tongue when he gets sick of her whining (take that, gag snobs!).

There are beatings, shootings, leg-breakings-to-hobble, etc throughout. There is a rape too. There is no hint of even dark humor, and the mayhem is presented pretty realistically. It doesn't have the shots of buckets of blood and entrails common to slasher movies, and it is all the more stunning as a result.

Well, I got an e-mail notification today from Something Weird Video that The Bushwhacker...has finally been found! After decades of being on their top ten wanted list, they located a print and are releasing the film on DVD...and get this, it's only 10 bucks! I'm ordering that as well as another recently discovered film they recommend called The Ravager that looks good, since it mentions women being stripped, tied up, beaten and raped. Yup, those are the keywords I look for when it comes to finding true GIMP entertainment.

I'm also thinking of ordering a DVD print of another hidden treasure called The Pick-Up, a film I've posted about for years, but one that's mostly unknown in circles outside of this forum. I have the film already on VHS, but shoot, for 10 bucks, it's worth upgrading. Something Weird's website is still pathetically slow and I couldn't order online tonight, but I'll call their toll-free number and get them ordered tomorrow.

As much as I like actual bondage films, I have to admit I get a thrill when I find a scene in a mainstream movie that rings my bell. Something Weird has a lot of schlock (they'll put anything on video) but they've managed to unearth some real nasty stuff from the 1960s and 70s that is rougher than a lot of what's being churned out today. You just have to figure out which ones to grab. One look at this still from The Pick-Up (see my Homepage URL) and you'll see why I recommend this one so highly.

Parts 2 and 3 combined have about 20 minutes of torture involving sweaty bikini-clad hotties Valerie Wyndham and Amber Van Buren. ABV is MUCH HOTTER in my opinion, particularly for the bra and panty set she wears in this movie. Although the torture action is not as elaborate as "Sayuri Blood Chronicles" or "Girls of War" (both of which have sequels in the works), both chicks look REALLY HOT especially when they're wearing almost nothing. Full review is probably a few weeks away.
