A closer look at her back reveals red marks, obviously from previous whipping. The executioner takes out a brand from the brazier and burns her on the back. We don\u2019t see the brand touch the skin but we hear the hiss of the iron along with a very nice anguished scream, and there\u2019s a hint of smoke, too.
