real whip lashes in mainstream movies

Post by klingsor »

This topic is intended to deal with flogging scenes in which you can see exactly how the delinquent's body is hit.

I also made this post (real lashes in mainstream mocies with BDSM models) in ElitePain Cards of Pain DUO - Ariel & Amanda : posting.php?mode=quote&f=4&p=17265

The best example is still from Amazons 1973.

To date, I have not been able to find the blonde's name in the cast list. So I think that brief role was played by a body double.

You can clearly see that every lash hits her naked upper body. At the beginning you can see the hair being twirled. Later, as the whip hits the right breast, squeezing it and then vibrating again as the whip is pulled back.

Even the welts, which are not particularly strong, are real.

Of course, a relatively soft whip was used here and the crack of the whip is fake.
But this whip can't have been too light. Otherwise it would not have flown so straight and the wrap would not have been possible in this way.

I watched the scenes in slow motion.

This slight reddening is practically impossible to fake. And light slaps with a soft belt are no more painful than grabbing someone's hair or pushing around. And it would definitely be cheaper than a complicated cutting technique and processing.
This are all low budget films.

In most floggings in mainstream movies, the whip never hits the body.

So I do not mean REAL lashes with REAL whips. But real lashes with soft instruments.
I know they take special Instruments par excample braided from fabric material or very soft thin leather.

A director of an open-air theater in our area showed me a real bullwhip. The whip-fall, made of cowhide, was covered (glued) with black linen fabric. This was drenched in theater blood. The flogging of the bad guy was then quite realistic .... unfortunately without cracking the whip.

Using the example of Wicked Lady, you can see very well how during the whip fight is the body of Marina Sirtis really hit with a prepared, soft whip.

Here you can see the soft, wide end of the whip sticking out from behind her back.
