Thanks for your confidence in my skills. I wouldn't dare "improve" on a master's work.
JD's bazaar

Re: JD's bazaar
Not at all. I like my vics umblemished while obviously you wanted a bit more roughed. There's always room to go that way, like a canvas that wait to be painted. Nothing to do with 'master's work as we all have different tastes.

Re: JD's bazaar
And a fitting ending for froggie.
Finally the torment is over. The witch admitted all her heresies and signed the confession. A tired team of dungeon professionals are retiring beaten to their quarters. The young witch proved to be a lot more stubborn than her young age might reveal and the men are all drained.
But now all this trouble is over. The guards are going to enjoy a mug of mead and a good meal so tomorrow they will be up to speed again for whatever might be dragged into the dungeon.
Hard is the life of a God-fearing man in times of witchcraft and heresy.

I really love this image and how it shows the after effects of her ordeal. Something a bit different, and very well done. Thanks for sharing JD.

https://ralphus.net/thegimpforum/downlo ... &mode=view, an ending worthy of a film. I have always admired your use of light and shade. Reminds me of Renaissance artists like Caravaggio. Yes, God-fearing men had it hard, but the perks were great. Thanks.doe.1971 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 4:28 pm And a fitting ending for froggie.

PS The skeleton in the cage relieves some of the tension in the scene, IMO. It seems to me a joking wink at the whole procedure.

Yeah, skeletons are always good for a chuckle or two.frog wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 5:45 pmhttps://ralphus.net/thegimpforum/downlo ... &mode=view, an ending worthy of a film. Re: JD's bazaar
Could have been GLOWING skeletons.

Re: JD's bazaar
What if the Bloody Baron wouldn't have believed the fantastic universes-jumping story of Cirilla and suspected her of sorcery and have questioned her in the dungeon of Crow's Perch?
