In fact, I made this gif from a video clip called "Hysteria treatment" that I found on the net some years ago.
The original is in color and probably from a main stream movie.
I used a fragment of the clip, changed it to sepia toning and added the "old movie" look.

New 'Subject' sentenced to 10 years in a reform centre. It starts with being stripped and then taken for full examination. This clip has unknown origins but it looks much more recent than a lot of the material that is usually acquired.

'Scientists' had free roam of facilities and could use subjects in a variety of cruel experiments. This would include testing reactions to skin from a selection of different chemicals.
