Lovely work, and very cruel. This one is not only my pick of the 3, it's also in the top 25 of best of all of your drawings... at least for me.

next part.
I must remind you again that these series are illustrations to stories, so they do not always explain themselves without the context. But you have imagination...

No worries. I'm very good with my imagination.

I made this drawing from the series over 30 years ago. I took up the idea again two years ago and interpreted it in 3D. Here both variants together.

If you are interested in my work in 3D, you can find it in the Cruxforum.

I love them both, but the 3D version is certainly the better detailed one. Thank you for sharing, as always.

Lots of days I come here at the beginning of the day, hoping to find something worth adding to the library or commenting upon. Any day I see posts in your thread, I'm pretty sure I'll go home happy. Your women aren't the cheerleaders/models (in most cases) that sometimes cause my tide to rise, but they are much closer to real, their torturers are just plain creatively nasty and merciless and the expressions on your victims are proof that somewhere in your cruel imagination there is a sensitive soul that resonates to women in fear and pain.

@petelobo: You have recognized my intentions very well. But I think for most of us the ambivalent sympathy (in the original meaning συμπάθεια / sympatheia) with the victim plays a big role.

Very well said, and I agree completely. I always look forward to your posts, Oz, and I'm never disappointed.

Now all we need is a hare with a similar contraption to answer the Aesopian question.
