Anyway, this scene is puzzling me... At first I' was thinking to "Lady Libertine" a.k.a. "Frank and I" (1984): exactly the scene in a brothel, where a prostitute is flogged to reenact a whipping in czarist Russia, but the "period" is wrong...

Furthermore, I thought of a scene in one of the versions of "Fanny Hill" (1964 by Russ Meyer, 1983 and 1995), even without results ...
