After all these years Ralphus (and all here) gave you a lot of support, I consider you leaving ( for the reasons you stated) akin to treason and I would be one ( maybe of a few) who do not want to follow you on Telegram.

Just one note about telegram as a Russian app. It is being developed by two russian born people who left their country to avoid russian government pressure. The app is officially based on BVI, which is a known offsbore country. This might be interesting to know!! (So this is NOT a Russian app!) The same guys developed VK (aka the Russian facebook) which is much more innovative than the original facebook!!! As government took on it its hands, the guys rather sold their shares and left the country.

Btw chinese apps are also much more innovate than american or european ones!! I am sorry to tell that the majority of innovation is unfortunately focused in far east... And it is really sad!!!

Bad news is that the Chinese apps are watched by the chinese government... HOWEVER!!! I am quite sure that american softwares are equally watched by american agencies... and if I have to choose I'd rather be watched by chinese... as they most likely fucking not care about me....

These facts need to be known when you refer to telegram as a "russian app".

It is no wonder that ukranians also widely use telegram while they are not in a friendship with the russian government

Sorry to see you go and for any disrespect your models may have had encountered here, that includes anything lost in translation of the internet that I may have typed. I think some of the resistance to joining TG is the loss of the perception of security and anonymity those using computer hardware may encounter by being bottle-necked into having to use a registered phone to access it. There can be a learning curve or even loss of access to tools such as convient VPNs and DNS servers when using a smartphone. TG offers to my knowledge no reliable workaround when it comes to setting up an account to their system which requires a QR code scanned by a smartphone or a SMS message sent over cellular networks to that specific device. Those devices are also easier to identify without a knowing user tweaking some of the default settings. These concerns can equate to a high hurdle for one to jump, at least from the perception of some users.
That said, been a customer before, will continue to check on updates to your productions websites and related promotional material at the usual places. I wish you and all of the people involved in your productions success.

Actually we have much more interaction at TG, as it seems that recent times most people could not get an account here at the forum, but now they can register at the TG group. I don't really get the point of worry about being watched by a British Virgin Islands company, when each of our own governments can watch our mobiles using spyware whenever they want. If you think VPNs help, you'd think it again. Anyway, those who stay away, stay away, I don't think we should dig further into this privacy matter.
