After a layoff of 3 years with no new ZFX material, a newly-energized Rick Masters is now back with his second new release in less than 4 months, with the sequel Goon Squad 2: Patriot Acts. This continues the story of covert government operatives out to rid society of suspected terrorists. And since all the terrorists they suspect just happen to be attractive young women, it no doubt makes their jobs a whole lot more enjoyable.
After a 12-minute recap of Part 1, Part 2 begins with the pretty redheaded coed, played by Amber Bliss, already tied down to a mattress on the floor. Her legs are spread apart at the knees, and her wrists are bound behind her and knotted off to a pulley on the ceiling. Minutes earlier, she had been brutally shocked into giving up the name of her best friend to the government goon squad and her interrogation is now continuing. Well, not so much an interrogation session, but more of a "let's have fun with the prisoner" type of session. Amber has been blindfolded, ballgagged and is wearing headphones for extra sensory deprivation. Her captor (Jesse Keddings) reddens her ass with several well-placed smacks to her posterior as she wails into her gag.
Then his boss (again played by director Rick Masters) takes over and wastes no time having his own fun with Amber's prone body, taking her from behind in the pussy, then pulling out only to continue the rape up her ass. Amber does a great job of emoting here, even though it would have been more enjoyable to have seen her eyes as she's being abused and violated. Masters exits, leaving the bound girl alone with cum oozing out the crack of her ass.
But her torment continues. With the headphones and blindfold gone but still ballgagged, Amber is next seen tied with arms overhead and her legs bound far apart, so that she resembles an upside-down Y. A thick black dildo mounted on a pole is shoved inside of her, impaling her on the pole. I don't know if this was an intentional visual joke on Masters' part, since she plays a peace activist, but in this position she now resembles the inside of a peace sign. Put a circle around her and she's a dead ringer.
Anyway, with her now securely impaled, Keddings walks behind her and picks up... a blow torch! Amber's eyes widen and she frantically writhes and screams through her gag as she watches him heat up a metal screwdriver over the blue-hot flame. With an evil cackle, he repeatedly touches the hot metal over and over onto her bare skin, and with a smoky sizzle, red marks are criss-crossed over her breasts, stomach and pussy. This is a particularly effective illusion, one of the best scenes of the movie.
After that harsh treatment, her torturers aren't letting up. When we see her next, Amber is bound kneeling to a wooden platform on the floor. Her body has been wrapped in yards and yards of barbed wire. Ouch! There's not any blood except to her mouth where it's been wound around her head as a makeshift gag. We get a minute or so to admire the ropework (wirework?) before Keddings returns to give her several electric jolts with his cattle prod. For the most part, Amber screams loudly and effectively, although there's a few times when he touches the prod to her and she doesn't react much at all, which kind of gives away that this is faked. Overall, though, a fun scene. I was laughing at every blood-curling scream.
Now done with their prisoner, Amber is left alone in the dark, naked and bound inside a large, open-ended wooden crate. The headphones and blindfold have been replaced, and her mouth is now gagged with duct tape. With nasty red marks now adorning her skin, she can only weep helplessly knowing that her friend will be next, and that she was the one responsible for giving them her name.
Next, we have a flashback to 6 months earlier which introduces Amber's friend, played by seemingly everybody's favorite ZFX performer, Lisa Kinkaid. She is later attacked while sleeping (in the nude) and transported to the government warehouse for questioning, now fully clothed. No explanation for the clothing continuity problems other than these scenes were literally filmed years apart.
Lisa is brought in chained, blindfolded and her mouth is filled with a strap gag, and, like Amber, she is wearing headphones to cut off sound. After securing her in a standing position by chaining her neck to a beam on the ceiling, Masters proceeds to slowly strip her, and at one point, he puts on rubber gloves and decides to give her a cavity search for hidden weapons (yeah, that's a good excuse). While it's technically not a bad scene, it's overly long (nearly 20 minutes) and deadens the pace of what had been a fairly entertaining film up to that time.
This is followed by another lengthy interrogation scene where Keddings gives Lisa, still bound standing in the same position, a vigorous beating with a rubber hose. Even though it should have been fun, the scene came across to me as repetitive. Keddings' performance was overly mechanical and it was obvious that the red marks that appeared on Lisa's skin were red makeup smeared across the hose he was using to beat her with. The illusion didn't quite work for me.
The next time we see Lisa, she's still in the same position and supposedly 6 hours have passed. Masters returns and takes off her gag to see if she's talking yet. She's not, so he decides to give her some electric anal prod torture. Unhooking her from the ceiling, he makes her bend down on the floor and an overly long butt plug with several rounded protuberances along its base is then painfully shoved up her ass. It's again done with special effects, since no human being could ever take a device that massive up her rectum. Masters ties it off inside of her.
After hoisting her arms over her head, Masters grabs the control device to the electrical anal probe and patiently tells her to confess or he'll hurt her. Lisa, of course, is innocent and knows nothing so she gets shocked periodically several times. Finally, Masters tires of her noncompliance, so he sits down, switches on the power and lets the current finish the job. Lisa spasms so hard she loses control of her bladder, spraying pee down her legs before passing out. This is a generally well-done scene, marred only by a lack of camera angles, a somewhat leisurely pace and excessive padding.
The movie concludes with a diabolical set-piece that only ZFX could pull off. Lisa is now strapped down to an operating table, her mouth gagged with a huge wad of sponge stuffed into her mouth. Wire is wrapped around her tits and her nipples are wired up as well. Her legs are spread apart at the sides of the table and her hands are tied together over her head and chained to the other end. There is an opening below the table where her interrogator can have access to her ass. That's important because of what happens next.
A huge, nasty-looking plug with a tube attached to it is then shoved deep up inside her ass as Lisa lets out a groan. A pump is turned on which forces red hot pepper sauce up into her anal cavity (I told you this was diabolical). Then a needle filled with truth serum is injected right onto her clit and taped in place. And to make matters worse, an electrical probe is inserted right into her pussy and tied so it stays inside of her.
At this point, all it takes is a flick of the switch and Lisa is tortured with electrical current to her tits, pussy and ass, all the while suffering the painful effects of the hot sauce enema. She suffers greatly and director Masters covers all the angles we want to see of Lisa's spasmic undulations. When she can take no more and passes out, a torrent of hot sauce comes flooding out of her ass. It's a satisfying end to what may be the final live-action release from ZFX.
With nearly a 2-hour running time, there are lots of scenes in this, some quite good, others not quite as effective. Lisa Kinkaid fans will be happy to see her return, but overall, once again, it's the scenes with Amber Bliss that are more successful. The original Goon Squad with just Amber was a more fun ride than the sequel with the Amber/Lisa duo. Still, there's plenty of good material here to recommend this one.
